Kirishima: Knowing what to do in an emergency is very important, so I'll teach you some basic first aid procedures. For example, what would you do if I got shot?
Bakugou: *eyes darkening* Avenge you.
Bakugou: Being cute is really hard because even when I’m angry, Kirishima just kinda giggles at me and says "aww you’re so cute when you’re angry" like, no. Stop. Recognize my power.

Bakugou's hero name was not only thought by him. Bakugo's always looked for names that were too rough to be a hero, so Kirishima ends up helping him when choosing the ultimate.
I am a faithful believer in this because: Kirishima is the only one who has his hero name inspired by someone else and it is rare that just the same with Bakugou.
From my point of view his name was planned in advance together with Kirishima. KATSUKI ASKED HIM FOR OPINION AND HELP.
Maybe that's why, in the film, he posed as kiri usually does, it could be a way of thanking him...
