Then neither is biphobia. Neither is homophobia, neither is acephobia. No one is afraid of them. They just hate. So let's call it what it is. pan hate and bi hate and gay hate and ace hate because that's what it is.

Also stop hiding and saying panphobia. You are the afraid of pansexual people. You dont like them. There's a difference.

Because in healthy relationships, you mutually love everything about each other, including, yes including, personality. If you fall in love with someone based solely on genatalia you're gonna have major problems down the road.

I'm not afraid of bi people (that's what biphobia is by the way. Phobia means fear not hate) I also don't hate them. I hate you because you're personality and because you can't accept people different from you. I hate you because you have just told me and my 10 year old sister and my neighbor and 3 kids I train that they aren't valid. I hate you specifically NOT becuase you're bisexual. Becuase I couldn't care less what you're sexuality is. I hate you becuase your head is so far up you're ass you don't know how horrific you sound and it makes me and a whole lot of other people sick that people like you exist. That people like you, who blatantly hate people for no reason, exist. So no I'm not biphobic and I don't hate bi people. I hate you becuase of your personality. Funny

Pansexual does not mean I have erased your gender identity. If you think that then you ha e no place to speak. Also bisexual does not always mean all encompassing. Bi means 2, so although it can be all encompassing it can also be quantifiable, meaning you can limit it as well. Pansexual mean all. This means that I love you're personality, which most people don't just fall in love based on looks anyways. But it doesn't mean I've erased you're gender identity. (1/2)

Elmer for the instrument thing?

Elmer plays flute and piccolo!

When he was in 5th grade, his school did a thing called "Try Band", which is basically where kids can go in and try different instruments to see what they want to play when the next school year came around.

He knew he didn't want to play any of the brass instruments, they just seemed too loud and in your face. So he tried woodwinds. He started with clarinet and saxes, but found that he didn't like how similar and relatively easy they were to play.

But then in the corner of the stage, he saw the flutes. He had seen people play them before and he had always thought they sounded nice, but what really sold it for him was how difficult the flute is to play. He watched so many people struggle as they tried to make a sound come out, most failing and giving up. When he tried, it took him a few tries, but he eventually got out a shaky and quiet but definite sound. They girl running the section smiled at him and told him that he seemed destined for it, and that was that.

Now fast forward about a year and a half, and he's gotten pretty good. He can play lots of pieces and he thoroughly enjoys practicing. So he decides to take up another instrument, just for fun. And the natural decision is piccolo.

He started taking private lessons and he didn't really feel the need to tell anyone because he didn't think he was all that good. In reality, he was excelling quickly for someone who just picked it up.

Fast forward again and it's junior year. Elmer's in the top band at the school and they were sight reading through a piece to see if they would play it for their upcoming concert. Everyone loved the piece. Each part was complicated and fascinating and everyone wanted to play this piece so badly. So imagine their disappointment when they learn that they need a piccolo, and they don't have one. As everyone's sulking about their lost song, Elmer quietly tells the director that he's been playing piccolo for 2 and a half years and he would be happy to play it fir the concert. From that day on, everyone praised him for saving their concert and their hearts, and every time someone mentioned it, Elmer just blushes and says it's no problem and that anyone would have done it.

As for what bands he's in, Elmer loves music so obviously he's in concert band and he loves the orchestral music, so orchestra was no question. The only band he didn't join was jazz band and not because he didn't enjoy playing the music. He just didn't want to play an instrument that wasn't similar to flute.

please help me escape an abusive mother

i feel so absolutely terrible asking for donations, but my situation is getting worse by the day and there’s only so much i can do

i’m a 24 year old latino trans man in new york. i suffer from clinical depression, an anxiety disorder, and bpd - as well as several physical health problems such as a compromised immune system (celiac disease) and chronic migraines.

despite my compromised immune system i work part time (i’m an essential worker) but i make very little due to few hours.  i’ve lived with my mother for my whole life and she has always been incredibly emotionally and verbally abusive. since the start of the covid-19 pandemic, her treatment of me has become something i am unable to tolerate without shutting down. i’m at the point where it’s hard to function. each day is a battle with her that leaves me wondering if suicide is the only way out. she’s begun wildly gaslighting me and triggering shutdowns and dissociation. i’m so tired from both work and doing everything for her + my emotional exhaustion that i can sleep all day (and i do).

i have actually started a profile for affordable living for my boyfriend and i today, but nyc affordable living is a lottery you must apply for. my boyfriend is also a trans man and lives out of state, but was put out of work by the pandemic. his home life is also not ideal. at this moment in time, neither of us have the savings or income to even apply for housing. all that i know is, my mother is telling me i need to leave asap.
