Okay, imagine you're me, super excited and happy because you just found a new fic! A skizzpulse college/university au, that's going to be around 30 chapters give or take, has an interesting plot, AND has amazing writing! A home run if you ask me.

Then, like any normal person, I look at the comments on chapter one,

I see your profile, "wow, that looks familiar, wonder where they got it from" *little did I know.*

Then I look at your name. "HOLY SHIT THIS IS CANNIBAL WALLEYE!"

And suddenly it all clicks together.

I found you from your fanart for Amethystfairy1, and later fell in love with your style and other art. (But APPARENTLY I forgot to follow you. Unbelievable.) You are actually the main reason as to why I posted *my* fanart for tt, and later other art!

Your art really inspired me, and I want you to know that! So finding a fic that I INSTANTLY love, and later finding out that it's made by YOU doesn't even feel real!

I am so hyped for this, maybe even more so now that I know it's you! The first three chapter have been nothing short of AMAZING and I can't wait to see the rest!

skizz as some kind of,, like... griffin hybrid? for one thing he's already kinda lion coded and also bird coded. and the whole protecting treasure thing. skizz protects his treasure, his friends. hi. and then imp and skizz podcast episode uhhhhh i think actually the first episode. skizz saying "i've always had this kind of... protective aura around you" (paraphrasing i don't have the clip rn) about impulse. being fiercely loyal, a trait often associated with lions at least. hi. hi. griffin hybrid skizzleman. can anyone hear me. hello

THE MAIL MOUNTS ARE DONE!!

Continuation of the snail mounts!!! Once again, these take long but they are super fun, especially trying to figure out how to saddle them. Here's some ramblings about them:

Pearl - she gets a chocobo! Mostly because I was thinking of chococraft at the time.

Etho - a very big grey wolf. The saddle is mechanic and shifts based on the wolf's position, that way it can sit down without Etho falling off!

Tango - a ravager of course! It's design is based mostly on a bison

I wanna make art of other things so I'm taking a break from these, but I still have a lot of ideas for other hermit's mounts!

Impulse/Skizz - a kiss against a wall

A/N: husbands...,,,, (frothing at mouth) i've already written the other two numbers for Skizzpulse so you get a kiss against a wall :3

"I wanna try something." Impulse blurted out. Skizz looked up from his chest sorting and glanced over to the demon, who sat on the edge of his bed thoughtfully.

"...Okay?" He laughed unsurely, keeping his eyes on Impulse from over his shoulder, "What's up, Dippledop?"

"Can you- ahem-" Clearing his throat, Impulse stood and brushed himself down awkwardly, "Can you stand against the wall for a sec?"

"Jeez, pulling me away from my chest sorting..." The complaint was filled with a playfulness that made them both crack a smile. Obediently, Skizz made his way over to the nearest unobscured wall and stood tall against it like a kid measuring their height at a theme park. Impulse followed after him nervously and stood right in front of him, fiddling with the hem of his shirt.

"Look, I never get to do this 'cause you're way taller than me and you usually do this kind of stuff, but I just..." He quickly gave up on explaining himself and just took a step closer. Skizz watched with curious eyes as Impulse stretched onto his tiptoes and leaned forward to press himself against the angel, pushing them both into the wall. His hand reached up to cup Skizz's face and the other rested on the bricks behind them.

Impulse pushed a tiny bit closer and kissed Skizz, pressing them both firmly against each other and the wall. Skizz had to stifle a giggle at the position -- not out of malice, but because it was so new and fun! He let himself be pushed against the wall even though he could resist and basked in how happy Impulse seemed at this; they had kissed a million times before, but never with him backed up like this.

"You, my friend," Skizz cracked a wide smile as Impulse pulled away for air, "should try new things more often."

I’m going to write a short story I think

skizzpulse AU where they're online dating, but also go to the same college/university and don't know it

slowly putting the hints together as they talk about their school life. at first, it's "oh, how weird, we both have a Jimmy in our course!", and then it's "hey, my professor is called Prof Watcher too..." and eventually it's "wait, which university do you go to?"

Skizz feels bad because there's this incredibly attractive demon guy in his class and, even though he and Impulse are open, it feels weird to have one long-distance person in the poly, so he just never talks to the hot demon

neither of them have shown their face yet, but Skizz takes photos with his wings in it sometimes. Impulse is acutely aware of how familiar those wings are - that angel in his class - but he knows that it can't be. Skizz must be a dove hybrid, or a different angel, or something

one time, Impulse messaged his e-boyfriend in the middle of class and heard the distinct noise of the angel boy's phone notifying across the hall. what a weird coincidence

Skizz notices that the demon in his class is wearing the exact same hoodie as Impulse was wearing that morning when he sent a particularly provocative picture of himself. it flusters him -- but of course, it couldn't actually be Impulse, right?
