Hey over here! Hi, so I watched this Bill Nye video the other day and he said that if astrology was correct then the sun will rise in our zodiac sign on our birthday. He said that we are basing our sun signs on some ancient Aztec belief and that time has changed. If we watch the sun rise on our birthday today it would show up in the next zodiac sign. It really got me questioning my zodiac sign and astrology in general. Should we modernize the birth charts? Was this all wrong or is this all fake?

I’m coming off vacay to answer this question because this topic (not you just this specific topic frequently brought by scientists in an attempt to discredit astrology) irks me so much. I love Bill Nye and I love science. But astrology is not science. Astrology is an occult art. You can believe in it or not believe it. That’s your choice. But trying to disprove it based on scientific rules is pointless because astrology is actually beyond that.  It’s ancient, esoteric, and probably infinite.  First of all, scientists have been doing this a long time. Since astronomy split from astrology scientists have been making this argument.  But it is nothing new, it is not a new discovery. Every time there is a surge in popularity of astrology a scientist is around to say “hey dumb astrology fans there are actually 13 signs and you’re not really the sign you think you are. So that means astrology is fake”  

Astrologers are completely aware of this and it doesn’t matter because that’s not what astrology is. PTOLEMY KNEW ABOUT THIS. Also the Aztecs had a completely different astrology than the western zodiac. (I actually really love Aztec astrology and was considering integrating it into this blog when I really have the time.)  They have their own zodiac with a completely separate lineage though the ancient origins are most likely connected to modern astrology but that is a different story. Sidereal astrology is in line with the modern placement of the fixed constellations (though still only uses 12 signs and does not include Ophiuchus). Most people will have a different sign in Vedic astrology due to the issue of the fixed constellations. A Modern western school of astrology “13 signs Astrology” also attempts to rectify this perceived mistake of astrology. But Astrologers have ALWAYS KNOWN ABOUT THIS.  

Astrological interpretations are not actually based on the constellations whose placements are in fact perpetually and slowly shifting due to the earth’s “wobble” on its axis. Astrological interpretations are based on the ecliptic which is a permanent and basically an imaginary unchanging line encircling the earth.  Arguably at the time of the crystallization of our modern astrology the constellations did occupy those places in the ecliptic.  But they weren’t always there and didn’t stay there. Astrology existed before that and will continue long after but the esoteric truths will continue to exists.  

This is why I feel it is important to take Astrological studies very seriously. I encourage anyone genuinely interested to really study some books go to some workshops.  You don’t have to believe in it! If it doesn’t work for you don’t force it. It might not be for you and that is okay. I personally feel that astrology is more than just a way to indulge in narcissism and relationship compatibility. It is an ancient tool to understand the very nature of reality and the workings of the universe. But it exists in the realm of religion, philosophy, and magic and shouldn’t be validated or invalidated by the rules of modern science.  They are separate things.

   Individuals with their Moon in the 11th house have a charming personality and are often known as party animals. They have an intuitive ability for making friends with just about anyone. You will be someone that is friendly to everyone but still has that detached vibe and has been hurt before. You would be nice at prank scenes or funny ones. You remind me of Rafe Katchadorian from 'Middle School: The worst years of my life.' I feel like you would be great at acting if you wanted to!

You are portrayed as someone who is spiritual, dreamy and a bit lost in the clouds. How to find your 9 main persona charts + others

So, there are two ways to do this:

Astro.com or

Astro-seek.com

It's just about whatever you prefer and whichever is easiest for you to read. Astro-seek.com is a site I'm slowly becoming familiar with and I really like their persona chart tab. How you get there may or may not vary based on the device you're on. I'm just using my computer most of the time. So, here's what I recommend:

Steps:

1) Go to either site first

2) If you don't already have your birth info added, go ahead and do that first. Message me directly for any questions. Keep reading though!

2) On Astro.com, click on the 'Free Horoscopes" tab, then click on the choice that says 'Extended Chart Selection.' This tab allows you to draw up just about any chart. It will also give you an area to put your birth data right at the top! But, when you get there, under 'Sections', click on chart type. It will give you a drop down menu, and here you will scroll down to the 'Persona Chart' selection. Here, there will be another drop down menu, it's going to start with your Moon persona chart because your basic natal chart is already the "Sun Persona Chart." You can click on this to change the chart you want to look at.

FYI: to look at an additional chart, such as an asteroid persona chart, under 'Extended Chart Selection', to where you see 'additional objects', and click on the plus sign. Here, you can add a manual entry aka the number of the asteroid you're looking for. Or just search for it by using the asteroid name/number list, (I don't recommend doing this lol just find a forum online or something.) Some popular examples:

Eros: 433, Psyche: 16, Cupido: 763, Amor: 1221, Aphrodite: 1388, Aura: 1488, Alma: 390, Destinn: 6583

3) If you are using Astro-seek.com, once you get to the home page, go to 'Free Horoscopes.' Keep scrolling until you see the 'Other astro calculations' tab. There's going to be quite a few choices, but about half way down this tab it says, 'Nine Persona Chart Calculator.' Click on this tab and enter your birth data. Once you do that, it will layout each of your persona charts and tell you the Sun sign, Ascendant, and Midheaven of each. It also gives you the degrees and tells you about the ruling planet of the persona chart--such as the sign and degree.

*By ruling planet of the persona chart, I mean whichever chart you're looking at and where the planet itself is at in the chart.

Advice that’s meant for you based on your Neptune

this post is mainly inspired by @/sagistarbb on twitter.

1H: you could be a lazy person or you find yourself feeling depressed often. you usually have no motivation for many things and that’s what makes you feel hatred towards yourself. you hate that you’re so lazy even though you want to do more for yourself. you need to become more, achieve more and experience better. isolating yourself from reality and running from your problems will always haunt you negatively until you decide to bring some changes into your life

2H: growing up you might’ve had to become mature at a young age or you just had a rough childhood in general. some people with their neptune sitting in their 2H even experienced being broke at some point in their lives. you always felt like or you were the second choice in many situations for many people which made you become possessive and selfish. you want to be understood and you possibly self pity a lot, but your neptune being in your second house suggests you to not let ANY situation that has happened to you shape your personality and your way of thinking. you were born a good person and there’s no need to change that because of anyone or anything. you need to give more in order to receive more, wether that be love, money or affection.

3H: your past trauma affected many parts of your life but mainly your view on life itself. you developed trust issues which leads you to having a hard time being social and especially because you feel like it won’t last anyways. wanting to be alone can feel great but feeling alone won’t feel anything near great. you need to go out with people and socialize, you need to experience life no matter your age. don’t think of yourself as someone who’s not worthy enough because you are, talk to yourself and tell yourself you’re the best, you love yourself, you’re beautiful. no matter how happy you can feel you never will be as happy as you can ever be until you develop more self love.

4H: you’re a very sensitive person who depends on how other people feel about you but you don’t want to admit it. you put this careless act on and you’d do whatever to protect your own emotions/feelings. this is a good personality trait from one side - but from the other it’s not. acting so cold and nonchalant hurts the ones who care for you the most more than it hurts you knowing what type of person you’ve become. you have to care more and deep down you know that too.

5H: as much as you care so much for certain people, let it go. in life it is important to learn and to know that forgiveness can actually be the right answer to a situation sometimes but not always. you have to stop putting other people’s feelings before your own. stop being a people pleaser because you don’t look like a good person in other people’s eyes, instead you look very weak. stand up for yourself and protect your own name, let someone treat you like royalty because you deserve love too. let yourself feel and be loved by somebody who won’t judge you for your uniqueness and who will love you for you!

6H: you could already know or feel like you don’t or never had good luck on your side - and that’s only because you never tried putting effort into your daily life, your daily routine. you can’t live with your head in the clouds and expect money to randomly grow on a tree so you can pick it up. if you’re still in school put effort into it, work more, study more, be ambitious and follow your dreams. be your own provider and stop depending on other people. so if someone else can’t eat you can’t because you’re waiting on their salary to come by? no. that’s not the life path for you, in this lifetime everything that happens to you and that you try making happen to you has to be caused by you and by hard work and not your friends, parents or anyone.

7H: as much as you want to live with the motto go with the flow it’s not for you. you can’t be the person ignoring your problems, you can’t expect forgiveness from everyone and you especially can’t and should stop acting immature in serious situations. you could be a loving person who tries to see the good in everyone - even your own enemies, but you can’t let things happen in YOUR life based on what other people decide for you. you need to have your own life in your hands and not give it to anyone else. no one will love you like you want to be loved until you love yourself first the most. avoid getting involved with toxic people and focus on your life path, not the past.

8H: you’re the person that’s able to move on from literally anything as time passes by but you for sure won’t forget anything, in fact you might just remember everything into detail. trauma and the hurt you have been through shapes you into a stronger person who learns how to be less sentimental day by day, you’re the only one that’s there for yourself when you’re going through it, through depression, through isolation and so on. people could perceive you as someone self centered, conceited or unapproachable. you need to learn how to not hold grudges and how to forgive but if you can’t seem to do that then you need to let things go because you remembering everything into detail manifests into having intrusive thoughts very often that constantly haunt you

9H: you HAVE to stop trusting people so easily. not everyone is your friend, not all of your family members wish you the best and not every new partner you get into a relationship with is meant for you! you have probably been lied to a lot in your life but you decide to ignore it just because you hate not being at peace with the people you care for. don’t ignore red flags, don’t ignore toxicity and don’t ignore advice. being a good person is good but enough is enough.. you can’t believe everything, trust everyone as mentioned and you can’t keep trying to see the good in people that you deep down know aren’t good people at all. when someone gives you advice that you don’t trust listen to it especially if your intuition is saying so.

10H: stop doubting yourself and stop believing certain things are impossible to ever happen because nothing is impossible. you deserve love, affection, success, money and so much more. do what makes you happy and go after your goals. don’t let anything stop you. people might’ve tried controlling you a lot in your life or during your childhood but you have to become independent and okay with being on your own. you don’t need anyone but yourself because at the end of the day no one will care for you and think about you more than you think about yourself.

11H: you have to let people connect with you. you’re so afraid of failure, of wasting your time on the wrong people but look at it from the brighter side - it’s life. you’re living life, you’re meant to experience new experiences every now and then. let people love you and let people feel loved by you! you will meet many new people (if you let yourself) and through all those new people you can meet the love of your life, your platonic soulmate and your happy place. you can’t be alone forever even if you feel like that’s the right thing to do, because there’s truly people out there that want to be there for you and love you

12H: you could’ve been screamed at a lot which now you fear, you could’ve been verbally abused, cheated on, lied to constantly but you always find reasons to still stay around those people. you go through many illusions in life that make the environment you’re around more negative and toxic the more you entertain it. get out of your comfort zone and ignore any sort of negativity. don’t wonder why you feel sudden mood swings or headaches, it’s because you let other people control you telepathically. you have to be your own person, your own boss.

i have accepted the fact that i am a Cancer sun and as a Cancer sun I enjoy cooking for people I love, taking care of them, surprising them with gifts & grande gestures (Leo Venus tbh) and screaming at the strangers that make a rude joke towards my people. I have also accepted that I want to appear "tougher" so I get tattoos and manifest a naturally bitchy face so people don't underestimate me but at my core, I am a Cancer Sun.

I recently found out why my mom would never sleep around me when I was a kid. Like she’d never let herself take naps or sleep if I was awake, ever. Or if she did, she would lock her bedroom door. So when I was 6, I was asleep in my bed in the middle of the night when I hear a loud bang, like a pot being dropped and come out to the living room to see my mom standing by the window, with just a huge pile of spaghetti all over the sill, and a pot on the ground, and I ’m like “Are you gonna eat all that?” And ya’ll she get’s BIG MAD and yells at me and chases me to my room but then a little while later a bunch of cops show up and ask me a bunch of random ass questions about my art? Like this one cop lady keeps asking me to draw dragons for her?! And they seem mad as hell

I didn’t want to get arrested so I just never asked my mom for spaghettis after that. Lesson, learned. Don’t ask mom for spaghettis or she’ll call the damn police on you. 

So I have this memory in my head, and it goes unquestioned until I say it outload for the first time a few months back and as soon as I say the words “When I was six, my mom called the cops on me for asking for spaghettis” My adult logic slams into place and is like “Hang on. Your mother definatly did not call the police on a 6 year old for asking for spaghetti.” 

So obviously that’s not what really went down. I call up my mom to tell her how I remember it and on top of her figuring out why her kid has always been really cagey around spaghettis for the last 3 decades she tells me what really happened. 

So on that night, a man tried to break into our house through the front window. It was just my mom, and her kids so she did what she felt she had too and shot him in the head. He’d been wearing a helmet, which landed on the floor under the window.

Now I just want ya’ll to put yourselves in my moms shoes for a minute here. This woman has just taken a human life. The trauma of that- the instant agony, the panic, the guilt, the fear- all of it hitting her at once, her only solace the knowledge that her children are safe. She protected her daughters. No matter the cost to her soul- her children are safe.

Then she looks up and sees her six year old staring at the inside of this mans head before saying “Are you gonna eat all that?”
