eiki shiki and kisume dedicated post
eiki shiki and kisume are pretty neglected in terms of returning, kisume is only seen in th11 (her debut) and in GoM and the other books (grimoire of marisa and etc) also double spoiler (and lostword) i guess? but that’s really it, eiki shiki returns in double spoiler and other books and also Hopeless Masquerade (and lostword), that’s really it, at least she got better treatment than kisume, th17 was really a missed opportunity to return eiki, these two are honestly super silly, since the newer games (like WBaWc and also some parts of UdoALG, plus SA aka touhou 11) are sometimes themed around hell, i could see eiki returning but there was a missed opportunity in th17 and th11 especially, i also really like both of their costumes (especially eiki’s fantasy rebirth outfit, it strangely looks like a wedding dress to me, is she getting married to bill cipher? im joking btw with the bill cipher thing lmao)
So I’m currently writing the first (1-3?? Idk how I’m gonna divide it up yet of my Spider-Man AU and I think things r going great, but I start realizing that I don’t think there’s enough build up to these events (and I’m starting to realize that maybe I can’t write romance as good as i thought). And it’s crazy cuz I’m currently 7K words in. And like obviously I’m gonna go to the endpoint before I go back and add some stuff in there but it’s very strange considering I’ve never had this problem before. So the first 1-3 chapters is probably gonna turn into 4-6 lol.
As much as realistically don’t see Percy doing drugs or drinking, it will be unfortunately something I’m probably going to incorporate into my fics because the idea and angst of it is too hard to resist.
I’d say it starts when finally his brain starts to process his trauma, and I mean like all of it. It doesn’t start on purpose, maybe he stumbles across it on accident. But then he gets his first few tastes and there’s no turning back.
Naturally he’d hate it, he’d hate his reliance on alcohol and drugs (I dont see Percy ever drinking Beer because of Gabe, when he drinks, he drinks to forget.) and he’d probably start isolating himself and ignoring people simply because he’s scared. He doesn’t know what type of drunk he is and he doesn’t want to find out.
Eventually it sort of spirals from a way of coping to a form of self harm in a way. Because his body forces himself to remember regardless.
And eventually he’d get sober, he’d never touch alcohol again. Because at the end of the day, Percy is supposed to be the one who breaks the cycle. I personally HC Percy as a very intense stress smoker (cigarettes) so I don’t think that habit would go away.
But just the idea of it really gets me lol and I’m surprised I don’t see more of it (probably because this type of thing is typically given to Jason Grace)
The fact that every morning after a hangover he may look in the mirror and see Gabe staring back.
Maybe he’d start smoking the same brand of cigs that Gabe did.
Maybe someone tried to help him and he just got really aggressive and angry.
Plus people who are abused as a child are more likely to engage in alcohol and drugs.
Also let’s not even get started into canon Percy, with not only the drinking but the drug side? Taking drugs in order to get some sort of high because his body craves an adrenaline rush and sparring with campers and killing monsters isn’t enough anymore. Hes become so addicted to the rush of adrenaline he can’t live without it? Idk man.
Anyway I guess that’s sort of an explanation? Or something as to why Percy will commonly be doing things like that and why it may seem so ooc and why I say “fuck it” and do it anyways.
Of course I have other characters who have bad coping mechanisms that may or may not be in most of my stuff. Like Annabeth who I’m sort of giving compulsive helping and Jason with his hero complex lol.

Stop writing your nonverbal characters as “quiet”!!!!
Obviously if there is a bigger character reason for their quietness, not an issue
But if your sole reason for them being such is that they don’t speak please reconsider why you think that way!
Most of us who don’t use verbal communication as a main form communication (or are more comfortable being nonverbal) are not quiet! If anything we are the loudest people you’ll know!
It’s all about balance! If you have a character who doesn’t speak, evaluate the way they interact with their world!
Do they use sign language? Are there other people in their life who know sign language, and are able to engage with them?
Do they use a audio device like an aac?
If they had to get the attention of one person across the room in a noisy space, how would they do it?
Like every character you write, they should be 3d!! Just because they have something unconventional in their livelihood, does not negate this fact!
Bill cipher is an euclidean, (in this context is a species) which is a 2d life form. We know his parents were named Scalene and Euclid. Bill claims he was beloved by all.
Bill had a special eye that let him se the 3rd dimension, he loved the stars and wanted to be one. he took medicine to cure it because talking about the 3rd dimension was illegal and would only drink it with a silly straw. When he "liberated" his dimension, he wanted to show everyone what they were missing out on. it destroyed the entire dimension, making him the last of his species. He keeps the remains of the dimension, a single speck of dust, the last atoms of a dimolished reality.
Bill and the henchmaincs live in a place between dimensions at the edge of reality known as the nightmare relm. The nightmare relm is crumbling so they want to find a new universe to call his own.
They pick earth, specifically Gravity falls, Oregon due to it being a weak point in between dimensions.
(I forgot to say this earlier but he has access to the mindscape, dreams, ect)
After several failed attempts of portals (including one built by dolphins) he finds Stanford Filbrick Pines. Bill describes him as having the ego of a king and the insecurity of a circus freak.
Bill tells ford he is a muse. Ford believes. Ford completly trusts bill.
Ford calls Fiddleford to help build the portal.
Bill celebrates Ford's birthday w/ him... by spelling his name out in dead rats.
And they get drunk off their asses on mind-dream juice??
Later, he tells a young Ford that a monster destroyed his reality. And shows him the last atoms of his dimension. He trusted ford with this information. Ford offers to hunt down the monster that destroyed his home dimension.
"Sixer, it would eat you alive."
Later, around winter holidays, Bill tells Ford a trick to always know who to trust, "Trust No One."

Few days ago I reinstalled TikTok. Long story short i uninstalled it once again yesterday, because the amount of negativity everyone is spreading in there is unbearable.
Everything you like is wrong, everything you do is "cringy" and you are a bad person, just because you enjoy a fictional character or draw a certain way that the kids on this app doesn't approve. It's all silly, really. What happened to respecting other people? What happened to supporting other people? What happened to forming your own opinions? Why does it feels like everyone is wishing for other people's doom? Just save the negativity for the actual bad people, not kids who draw in certain artstyle you dislike. Are we really all that miserable?
And it's not only TikTok. Youtube is filled with the same people, but now there's also the AI crap and content farms. Instagram is unusable for me because of the inappropriate, explicit stuff that started showing on my reels, that just never goes away. Reddit is helpful, until a guy starts calling you names, because you asked something a random guy five years did. Don't get me started on Pinterest it's huge AI infection and that Twitter is owned by a freaking manchild naz...
I don't really know how to describe it, but everything feels either rotten or overly cleansed, artificial. You mostly see bots or people who never stepped out to see the sun. I'm not nostalgia blind, there were always people who were seaking conflicts, but it felt like the rational one's always unnumbered them. People ware overall more emphatic, they seemed to be happier. Just showing their creativity, giving each other tips, talking about their recent vocations, snapping pics of dogs. Well at least the art community were. You know, that's why I like Tumblr, it's still feels like the old internet here.

Her name is "Chatty Katty." Or Cathy, I'm not sure yet

She was a kindergarten doll from the same line of Miss Delight. She had a button in the middle of her stomach so that when kids pressed it, she would sing the Abc's
Bigger bodies:
During the time Harley had started the bigger bodies, Initiative, he had no idea of kathy's existence. He only knew after wandering around Elliott's office where he found a blueprint of "Chatty kathy" and "Itsy bitsy Betsy." Seemingly, two toys from the same exact line except one shared the semi- appearance of an already exiting bigger body. Mommy long legs. The other one shared the appearance of Miss delight more. Harley was able to look through the files of these two to find out more about them. But it seems a couple years prior to him running the factory, "Chatty Kathy," had been forgotten and labeled as "Younger delight," but of course, Harley saw this as another opportunity. So he picked out two young girls by the names of "Abbie Collins" and "Samantha Williams." Once in their bigger bodies, they kept silent for a while, then began to speak to one another. Once let out of their resting periods, They did decently well with the kids in playcare. But the two had quickly grown emotionally attached to 1122 and a teacher in the schoolhouse.
