Steve: Hey, what have you two been up to?
Thor: We were helping Y/N write their vows, but they kicked us out because Bucky was making inappropriate suggestions.
Bucky: How is āLoki, I love your sweet assā inappropriate?
A/N- Please keep in mind, this is my first time writing a Reader Insert. So, I'm sorry in advance if this isn't that good.

Imagine on the elevator, Thor talks to Loki about a girl he met while on Midgard, having no idea that girl happened to be Loki girlfriend of 6 years, you.
"I'm sorry, my lady." Thor's voice booms throughout the kitchen after having bumped into you after turning away from the fridge. You smiled softly and nodded your head in thanks. "It's no problem Thor." you said. "Would you like to have lunch with me, my lady? Everyone seems to be out of the Compound at the moment." Thor asks in a surprisingly soft voice. "Why the hell not? My name is Y/N L/N, by the way." You smiled widely. "It is nice to meet you, lady Y/N. What would you like to eat?" Thor grins, gesturing to open-planned kitchen in the Avengers Compound. "I'll just take a plate of F/F from the fridge, Thor. Thank you." You spoke before sitting at the dinning room table, as Thor plated both you and him some F/F. After heating both plates up, Thor flopped into the chair next to the one you were sitting in, after putting both plates on the table. You and Thor got to know one another as you both ate. Loki had told you about Thor and stories about when they were little, but you didn't think Thor would have such Golden Retriever energy based off of what Loki had said. You guys eventually went separate ways as Thor said he was off to the gym. You bid goodbyes as you went back to Loki's room. As you arrived at Loki's room, you could see him walking down the hall towards the Elevator. "I'm going to get a new book, my Queen." Loki spoke softly but loud enough for you to hear, without turning around, as if sensing your confusion. "Ok, I'll be in your bedroom, my King." You spoke before heading into Loki's room and closing the door.
Loki got to the elevator the same time as Thor, and coincidentally the Library and gym are one floor apart. Going the same way, down. Thor held the elevator doors open for his brother which had Loki nodding his thanks. "I met such a wonderful maiden today, brother." Thor announced as the elevator doors closed. Loki raised an eyebrow in question, which Thor noticed. "Why yes, she was the upmost kind and sweet woman I've ever met. I think you would love her. She has a mischievous side but also has a kind and caring nurture to her. I think you and her would get along great after some of the pranks she told me she's pulled on her older brother." Thor explained with a bright smile. "Who is this, you speak of Thor?" Loki questioned with genuine curiosity. "Her name was Y/N L/N. She was brilliant, she was." Thor spoke, with wild gestures of his hands, before smiling at his brother. "I think you and her would get along great." He added quickly, noticing Loki's amusement to the situation. Loki nodded with a mischievous sparkle to his eyes. "I'll keep that in mind, brother. Thank you." He spoke with a hint of a smile pulling at his lips. "No problem, brother." Thor grinned while giving Loki a pat on the back.
As Thor and Loki went their separate ways once arriving to the destined floor, Loki smiled to himself, a genuine smile, just thinking about you and thinking he's ready to tell the team about you. He knows you're the one for him. You complete him. You make him feel things he's never felt before. You are the love of his life. He doesn't know what he would do without you. You make him a better person. Loki is happy for the first time in what feels like forever because of you. He is beyond grateful he met you. He would go to the end of the Nine Realms for you. He would kill for you. He would do anything you asked of him. You have him wrapped around your finger like there is no tomorrow.

the Continued Awkwardness of being an official "Non-Avenger" Avenger by Anti_Social_Headphones_Kid
Spidey's gotten closer to the Avengers ever since they've returned, and everything seems to be going smooth- his identity is still safe, and he's friends with the Avengers- it couldn't get any better then that, right?
The Avengers on the other hand, have started to love having the Spider around- but their opinions on his identity are getting confusing, to say the least

Loki, who is definitely aro-spec: *sweating*
Idk about Crocki, but I was on a live watch party last night and the chat noticed that the castle thing at the end is dr dooms mansion or something, and that Thor in the jar is Throg (Thor as a frog)
Hope this helps!
Just finished episode 5 of Loki⦠wow⦠just.
IT WAS AMAZINGGGG
But it still left me questions:
1. How did kid Loki end up killing Thor?
2. Who tf is behind TVA?
3. Why does their mansion look like itās from 17th century?
4. Why are both Sylki and Lokius ships so amazing?
6. Why was Thor in a little jar? ā¬ļø
7. Why was Mobius in Lokisā whatever-that-universe/time-is-called?
8. What were those bird-like blue thingies?
9. Why was there a ship USS Eldridge? I googled it expecting it to be some sort of db cooper-like situation but there was nothing weird
10. Was Crocki lying about being Loki? And if so, why?
Thatās it. If anyone has any theories, please reblog or comment and tell me
Ok, so Iāve seen a lot of people on here expressing their opinions on episode 4 of āLokiā (yes I feel the need to specify which show idk), some of which I agree with. But guys, this is just a thought but hear me out:
āØplatonic soulmatesāØ
Loki never said he was romantically attracted to Sylvie; it was Mobius who came to that conclusion, causing Loki to think about it more and possibly misinterpret it as romantic.
Also:
There wasnāt even the beginning of a possible sentence, he just said āthis is very new to me, umā and RENSLAYER INTERRUPTED (like I know she wanted to talk to Sylvie alone but DAM give the dude a minute geez)
And seeing as Loki has never experienced this before, he doesnāt know the words to describe this feeling. He probably thinks itās romantic because he knows itās stronger than platonic, but isnāt aware of whatās in between.
A soulmate is defined as a best friend but more. The person who knows you better than anyone else and makes you a better you. After making that connection on the train on Lamentis-1, they found their soulmate in each other. And because Loki was never supposed to have a soulmate in the Sacred Timeline, or any love interest, for the matter, THATS what caused their nexus event: two Loki variants relating to each other in such a way that could wreak havoc and break reality, because their meeting was a cosmic mistake, and the relationship that grew between them was a cosmic mistake.
So they could use this bond they share, that was never supposed to even be a possibility, to create a new kind of nexus event and put an end to the TVA once and for all.
Sorry this was extremely long, I just felt like ranting about this. Hopefully this makes enough sense that the Sylki shippers can accept it as a more likely thing than romantic love between them, the Sylki Antis can acknowledge that a connection greater than friendship is present, and those who have no opinion on the matter can find words to use for what their relationship is while also appealing to the shippers and non-shippers alike.
Feel free to reblog or put this on Pinterest or whatever you want to do to spread this across the internet to the rest of the fandom :)
THIS MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE I-
Okay after give the last sylvie loki scene some thought not really just popped into my mind Loki was not trying to reach for a kiss or anything romantic, he was going to reach for her memories. A last favor if you may, because they needed a fucking break.
Remember when she said something about vaguely remembering Asgard and also she said she taught magic herself so can do loki too, but he did not know he could do that that was what's new for him. I swear to Odin everything i write makes total sense to me right now.
Seeing as the whole fandom is torn between shipping Sylvie and Loki and not because selfcxst, yet we donāt have a ship nameā¦ā¦
Ladies, Gentleman and everyone in between, I raise you:

I...disagree with the idea of Loki being a narcissist. Ā Ā
Ā Ā Acting out the way he does isn't just a trait of narcissists but also of people with low self-esteem, (I should know, being someone who has acted in such a way myself in the past.) Loki was clearly constantly put down by others, disrespected by who he thought were his people, and generally considered 'lesser' to Thor for most of, if not all of his life for seemingly no reason at all. (He 'feels' he's in Thor's shadow because he blatantly is. There's clear favouritism not just from Odin, but from all of Asgard.)
Ā Ā He never wanted the throne, nor did he actually want power or popularity, he just wanted someone to tell him that he was worthy, he wanted someone to tell him he was worth something and that he wasn't a monster like the other Jotuns were. (This is far clearer in the deleted scenes, where Loki hesitates to take the throne in the first Thor movie, and even looks to his mother, the only person who really seemed to love him, before taking it. As well as his clearly more lovable interactions with Thor before it was revealed that he was Jotun.)
Ā Ā I mean, hell, he tried to commit suicide at the end of the first Thor movie when his father, whom he tried to get recognition from, and who was certainly the biggest issue with his self-esteem, rejected him yet again.
Ā Ā I feel like this is most prominent when you take into account that he IS a Jotun, a being that he was raised to hate and fear. He believes he's a monster, and that coupled with his already problematic self-esteem just makes it apparent that he has the exact opposite problem that a narcissist has. Ā He does deeply care for other people as well. Frigga being the biggest example, in Dark world, he was heartbroken and devastated by her loss. (And the fact that the last thing he said to her was that she 'wasn't his mother' certainly didn't make it better.) Or in Infinity War, where he recognizes Thanos' plan to kill 'half' of everything, so, seeing as he's one of two brothers, gets Thanos to kill him so Thor will get out safely. Literally sacrificing himself for his brother, who he, on all accounts, shouldn't have cared enough to help there if he was a narcassist.
Ā Ā The mind stone and the sceptre weren't mind controlling Loki, but it was messing with his head, as is seen in-universe as well as mentioned in interviews. This is seen where he stabs Thor, as he's clearly shaken by what he's just done, even if you can only see this reaction for a few moments. He also doesn't believe in what he's saying in Avengers when he's telling the people around him to kneel, that's why Phil claims that he lacks conviction: Because he really does, he's doing all of this because he's hurting, and the mind stone is manipulating him, he doesn't actually believe anything he's saying there.
Ā Ā Before anyone brings it up as well: Ragnarok and the Loki TV show are pieces of MCU lore that should be taken with a grain of salt. Many things said in Ragnarok are inconsistent with the other movies (See Sif apparently having to prove that women can be warriors, yet, the Valkyries existed. Or the fact that apparently the Valkyries died before Thor's time but Thor always wanted to join them? Or the 'we were eight at the time' line, when Thor and Loki, being Asgardian/Jotun, age differently than humans, so by that point, would've actually been infants. The Loki show as well, Sylvie and the entire situation revolving around that comes with many character and story inconsistencies, such as magic seen not working in the TVA but apparently Sylvie can still use it in another episode.)
Ā Ā Basically, from where I'm standing, this diagnosis doesn't seem to make any sense? It makes more sense to say that he's faking narcissism just so he can look strong and more in control, while on the inside continuing to feel unworthy and unlovable. Lashing out not because he's truly hateful, but because, as you've said in another video: 'Hurt people, hurt people.' (Again, something I have sadly been through.) I'd also like to point out, in this way, his mischief seems more like a cry for help. As many will point out, if someone is neglected enough in early life, they're likely to develop a mentality of 'any attention is good attention', which seems to be pretty in-line with a lot of 'mischief' he pulls.
Ā Ā But hey, I'm not a therapist, and that's just my opinion.
Note: Narcissists arenāt inherently bad people. Donāt write them off asĀ āevilā orĀ āmonstersā. Not all of them are. Putting everyone in boxes like that for mental disabilities or neurodivergenceĀ is doing nothing but perpetuating harmful rhetoric and harming people.
...With that being said though, Loki aināt it, chief.
Real talk though: Cinema therapyās video on Loki is stupid as hell.Ā āLoki genuinely believes he is superiorā is a direct quote, and as you can read from the above post, that statement is blatantly wrong on its own.
Ā Ā AU idea: (Android-Loki AU by myself, lol. Though Iām sure someone else mustāve thought of this, haha.)
Ā Ā Possible trigger warnings?: Parental neglect? I mean, itās Loki, heās the poster child of parental abuse/neglect. Brief mention of a mortal kombat fatality-style death.
Ā Ā Full idea below:
Ā Ā Weāll call this Loki...Lodroid? Just for the sake of simplicity. (I might come up with a better name later.)
Ā Ā In this timeline, Lodroid was made as aĀ ācompanionā and āprotectorā of sorts for Thor, as he was an only child in this universe. Everyone but Thor and Lodroid knew about it, but Odin made it an unspoken law to never mention it to either of them.
Ā Ā Lodroid was programmed with aĀ āself-awareness protocolā that basically forces him to avoid any thought or idea that heās robotic. So, his mind forces him to avoid the thought subconsciously, which would be overridden by any physical proof that this is the case. (Thus why nobody is allowed to mention it.) Lodroid is also pre-programmed to see Thor as his brother and Frigga/Odin as his parents.
Ā Ā āMagicā infused within Lodroidās body made him capable of magic on his own, as well as casting a disguise over his robotic body to make him seem organic. (Like how he was cast over to not look like a Jotun in the OG universe.) His robotics also made specifically to seem asĀ āasgardianā as possible. (Ie: He can eat and drink, which is turned into fuel to power him, he needs sleep, he feels pain, he feels emotion, etc.)
Ā Ā For many years, heĀ āgrew upā alongside his brother Thor, Odin, and Frigga. (Odin still neglected him, he was still ignored and basically bullied by the other Asgardians, etc. Frigga still was kind to him though, still seeing him as her son, even if he was artificial, as she knows that he still has emotions and thoughts.)Ā
Ā Ā So, it basically remains pretty similar up until the events ofĀ āThorā. When they end up in Jotunheim. Here, Lodroidās arm is grabbed by the Jotun, but instead of turning blue, his skin starts to crumble like it does for everyone else. Lodroid panicked and in pain, lashes out. Remember when I said he was aĀ āprotectorā as well as companion? He was outfitted with weaponry, which only activated here, when both brothers were in critical danger. Lodroidās palm fires a blast of highly concentrated energy, which basically fires right through the Jotun (Fatality, Loki wins)
Ā Ā Of course, this wasnāt normal magic, Lodroid was well-aware of that as soon as he realized what happened. But if not his usual magic, what was it?
Ā Ā Thor gets sent to earth, and Lodroid goes mad trying to figure out what it was. Then, it clicks. He finds the beam matched that of the destroyer's almost exactly. Lodroid figures out that thereās an enchantment cloaking him and while standing in front of a mirror, uses his own magic to override the illusion. Only to be met with a terrible sight.
Ā Ā Lodroid is met with mechanics, metal, and two green, glowing camera shutter optical lenses. (I imagine it looks similar to a mixture of C-3PO and a terminator.) And now he can see it: āSelf awareness protocols disengagedā... āSystem procedures visibleā...Ā āInformation overload in progressā...Ā āEmotional levels reaching criticalā...Ā āSystems crashingā...Ā Ā āOxygen levels compromisedā...Ā
Ā Ā This is the point heās found by Odin, who finds him staring at his uncloaked appearance in the mirror.Ā āMeltdown in progressā. However in this version of events, due to his not actually being organic, heās disallowed the throne by default as heās not recognized as OdināsĀ āreal sonā. (āWas I just some toy for Thor to play with until he grows bored of me?! What would you have done had you no use of me, would you have thrown me into a scrapyard?!ā)
Ā Ā Frigga tries to get him to calm down, oh how she tries. But Lodroid, unable to access the destroyerās might, is basically forced to confront Thor on his own. Thor doesnāt recognize him at first, as heās still uncloaked here, but Sif and the warriors definitely do. Itās a shock to the senses for Thor, who up until now was also in the dark about it. Sif and the others are convinced that Lodroid is irreversibly off the deep-end, Sif even mentioning in passing that sheĀ āsaw this coming a long time ago.ā (Insert Darcy making a robocop or terminator joke, you choose, lol.)
Ā Ā The fight is way more emotional than you might think it is at first. Lodroid and Thor basically ending in a tie as Thor basically tells Lodroid that regardless of what secrets may be hiding, that heāll always be his brother. (He deserves a semi-happy conclusion to this, you canāt tell me otherwise.) Big difference in this timeline: Lodroid doesnāt go back to Asgard. He says he will once they try making the trip home (with some side eyes from Sif and the others.) but when they arrive in Asgard from the bifrost, heās not there.
Ā Ā Nope, Lodroid left sneakily. Heās off to try and figure out what to do next after this huge revelation/identity crisis. But that doesnāt mean he wonāt end up appearing forĀ āThe Avengersā. Thor is kind of bummed out, because he canāt find his brother, but hey, at least he can visit his girlfriend here instead of just disappearing, eh?
Ā Ā This post is getting long so Iāll leave this here for now. If people like it enough I might make a sequel for āThe Avengersā.Ā ( ͔° ĶŹ ͔°)
-Loki has a massive sweet tooth. Itās canon that Loki enjoys food from Midgard more than food from Asgard, but I headcanon that heās also fairly partial to sweets.
This is...mostly due to irl offerings to Loki apparently being sweets, but-
-One of Lokiās love languages is physical touch...but- Loki is just one of those people who, regardless of context, will often respond to sudden displays of physical affection like a passing car splashed him with puddle water. Just- freezing up with wide eyes, arms lifted away from the person while heās currently blue-screening on the inside.
...Thor is very used to this being his reaction when he hugs him.
-Lokiās usually wakes up at dawn. I literally donāt know what brought this thought on. Somehow my brain just said: āLoki wakes up at dawn and usually goes to bed really early.ā and now thatās just in my brain. So, basically, Loki was/is usually one of, if not the very first person to be awake in the Asgard palace.
-Lokiās favorite colour isnāt green, itās actually gold. He wears gold more sparingly because over-saturation is never a good thing.
-Loki is a light-weight. When it comes to alcohol and being able to hold alcohol, Thor definitely has him beat, along with...just about every other Asgardian. Besides beingĀ āOdinās sonā andĀ āThe god of mischiefā, Loki is also known in Asgard as being the easiest person in the realm to get drunk.
-Why is this so well-known is Asgard? Simple: Whenever he gets drunk, Loki turns into a party animal.Ā Thus, Thor tends to make a habit ofĀ āgently persuadingā him to join Asgardian parties so he can try to get his brother drunk. That way, his brother will have a good time. Then, he (and Sif/the warriors three) can 1. relax and not have to worry about Loki pulling some mischief somewhere. and 2. Have some nice entertainment watching Loki parade around on the tables singing and dancing.
Loki hates it when Thor does this because Loki finds his actions when drunk humiliating.
-Loki knows how to ice skate and is actually good at it. So good that at one point he genuinely considered joining the figure skating portion of the Olympic games under an alias once. This was before the events of the Thor movie, during one of his visits to earth, of course. He ultimately decided against it, (Especially after realizing how much paperwork was involved.) but Iāll tell you with 100% certainty that if heād gone through with it, he wouldāve at least placed in the top 3.
-Loki once had a crush on Sif. I feel like this isnāt that uncommon. But yeah, I headcanon that Loki had a thing for her in the past, but either he told her and was rejected, or he just gave up/found out she wasnāt interested and just moved on.
-Lokiās favorites. Yes, Iāve even come up with this, haha. -His favorite food is cheesecake (Candied apples being a close second.) -His favorite season is Autumn -His favorite music genre is Classical/Broadway-style music -and finally, his favorite flowers are Tiger lilies.
-Loki doesnāt like coffee. Yup, heās not a coffee drinker. Heās on team tea for sure, though heās also on the unofficial third team of the argument: Team hot cocoa. Heās stubborn about this, he will die on this hill.
The best part: Thor is the opposite. He loves coffee and dislikes tea (As is also said in Ragnarok)Ā so-
JUST GIVE US WHAT WE WANT YOU FUCKING COWARDS
Thinking of doing a different character aesthetic every month
Loki honestly reminds me of November
Should I change my user too???
You know what's my Roman Empire? The fact that in Thor the dark world they didn't allow Loki to go to Frigga's funeral.
Asgardians are jealous of Loki. The reason Loki is so belittled and gaslighted is because people like to use him, but also in order to keep gaining favours from him, they need to keep him needy of their praise and blah blah blah. I think a lot of us know how it works, so I won't explain that. On the other hand, Loki has something they don't, which is what makes him 'untrustworthy'. Loki is adaptable, curious and dedicated, as well as other amazing traits.
Loki is "burdened with a glorious purpose". He has a bright star, and people who do not have a bright star as well tend to see that star, and want to dim it. (Yes, I believe there's a spiritual side to it.)
Loki can easily acknowledge (and has) that he's jealous of Thor, but when others call him jealous they are projecting. They especially do this when Loki outwits them. They don't even have to be jealous of Loki, they must've had their ego bruised by him in one way or another.
Sif is close to Thor, but she would never be able to surpass Loki's level of closeness, which sucks, because Loki and Thor barely have any similarities. Why is Thor so insistent on attaching Loki to his side? Thor doesn't need Loki. Thor shouldn't want Loki. Sif and Loki mirror each other. Sif is a warrior lady, most likely with a mission to bring greatness back in the name of female warriors, considering the fiasco of Hela and the Valkyries. Loki is a practisioner of magic, which is seen as feminine, and can battle without magic efficiently, as is expected of a prince. Loki can go both ways, but Sif would never be able to do such a thing.
Hogun is that non-white friend in an all white friend group who's willing to forget and disregard his own ethnic background for those white friends. Excluding the whole Jotun Loki thing, Loki and Thor are both mix-raised, seeing as Frigga is from Vanaheim (according to fandom anyways). Loki clearly inherited a lot of Vanaheimian(?) traits, including the black hair, despite having an Asgardian king for a father. If Loki behaves like a Vanaheimian despite having an Asgardian upbringing, how would Asgardians perceive Hogun?Ā Hogun is threatened by Loki and is determined to drive him out of the friend group. On the other hand of this halfblood envy, Loki makes Hogun feel ashamed. A half Asgardian managed to out-Vanaheim the full blooded Vanaheimian.
Fandral and Volstagg? I don't know, I don't care about them. Maybe Volstagg isn't a very smart person and is jealous of Loki's wit, whereas Fandral is an enabler who's there to be a soft blow. He's a reassurance to Loki's insecurity.Ā He's nice so Loki would think "hey, at least there's one person that's okay with me" and still hangs out with them so that they can benefit from him.
I can imagine Loki has quite the reputation. And when you have a reputation, people talk. Loki is intelligent, diplomatic and pretty much has the significant traits of both Odin and Frigga. Loki is hard working, and tries different things. He's a problem solver, and adapts well to cold weather. I could see Thor views this as Loki outshining him, which is why he could never understand how Loki believed he was in Thor's shadow. Thor thought that Loki was better than him, and suspected that maybe Loki knew it too, and made sure to remind Loki which son was in charge. Which son truly had favour. Which son really mattered. Thor cares for and loves Loki, but is also jealous of how much skill and significance Loki has, even though that skill is a result of Loki's determination, trial and errors. Loki was able to butter people up with his silver tongue, but Thor put people on edge with his loudness and forwardness.
Edit: There are more reasons I can come up with for Thor to be jealous of Loki. First off, Thor felt the only significance he had as the son of Odin was that he was the first born. That's the only relevancy he has. Personality wise, he's the typical Asgardian warrior, with the brashness, light hair and being ready for battle.Ā Loki, on the other hand, has many amazing feats, and stands out. Thor would most likely (or is expected to) become a copy paste of Odin, whereas Loki has an identity of his own. Loki can become whatever he wants, and be whoever he wants outside royalty. Thor's destiny is to be the king and remain stagnant.
What makes it worse is that being a male mage is frowned upon for sexist reasons, but Loki ultimately gets away with it. Being the 2nd prince may play a huge factor, but you'd think that Odin would try to put a stop to that. If he did, he wasn't successful, because Loki's a known seidr practitioner to all of Asgard. I don't think Thor would've been allowed, perhaps heavily discouraged from it.
Frigga is a warbride (according to fandom again), and possibly has stockholm syndrome. I guess she's jealous of Loki's freedom. Loki is technically Odin's servant, and one who can easily gain freedom by leaving the family. Thing is, he's a great employee, and they don't want to lose him. He needs to be convinced that he has no one, and has no other opportunities. She loves Loki, but is willing to have him suffer like she does. She needs someone to be trapped with her. She needs that company. She is unknowingly working as Odin's puppet as she does this, because she herself cannot leave.
Heimdall's all seeing eyes can't spot Loki, and that gets on his nerves. This guy doesn't understand that some people find it creepy to be watched, so he can only assume that Loki is up to something. He must be! Why is he hiding himself before stepping into the shower? Why is he hiding himself as he sleeps?
Odin??? I'm not sure. Every abusive, narcissistic parent is envious of their child about something. Sometimes that envy is over nothing. Odin makes declarations of peace, but Loki is the true embodiment of that (ignoring Thor Ragnarok). Odin looked for trouble, but Loki does anything in his power to make it a last resort.
Odin obviously saw Loki as lesser. To have that lesser become the person Odin claimed to be must be a giant bruise to his ego.
