Since Circe was out on Aeaea for killing her husband I think she would be very critical about her children’s partners

Like she would try to matchmake and she wouldn’t care so much if she didn’t like the person. She would only care if they worked well with her kids.

Valentine would be TERRIFIED. He would go all out to prepare and would spend hours planning his outfit (and a back-up outfit), he’d make his best recipes, and would do everything he possibly could to make a perfect impression.

They would meet right after sunset, right when Helios gets off-duty so that they can talk for as long as possible before he needs to leave again.

Helios would gab and go on and on about Spelldon growing up (he’d definitely be the kind of person to show off baby pictures). He’d tell story after story and Kieran is just sitting there stiffly, hands folded in his lap, smiling awkwardly while he listens.

By the time sunrise comes around, Valentine would have said a total of 10 words, and Helios would love him.

Torelai wasn’t attacked by the witches in France because she’s a monster it was because she’s British

Valentine is actually really good at painting. He loves oil paints and he paints delicate, calm landscapes. He hides them in a room in his house where his mother doesn’t go.

Spelldon’s hands shake too much to hold the brush. But he is a sketcher through and through and makes thick, messy graphite lines look sharp and elegant. He can’t draw anything but people, and Valentine is his favorite muse

Since casta seems to be the competent cauldronello sibling in the movie I really want to see them call back to her stage name from g1

Like if after her fight with deuce and Heath they tell clawdeen like “oh while you’re looking around be careful for the witch girl; casta’s fierce” or something like that

Okay so I think casta is the one fighting Heath and deuce, and Spelldon is the one dealing with Torelai SO

i think it’s super funny that Spelldon is getting absolutely destroyed by Torelai, while casta is winning against a gorgon and a guy throwing fireballs

I am SO excited for this movie I can’t believe it’s coming out THIS FRIDAY

So I know they’ve released a few real names for the second live action movie characters BUT

Ellis is the only one who doesn’t have a last name. He’s just referred to as Ellis.

I know Draculaura doesn’t either but we know Zamara is his mother and Zamara has a last name so why wouldn’t he?

BECAUSE ELLIS ISNT HIS REAL NAME

I think it’s a fake name he uses IN the movie and how he’s introduced and everything but I don’t think it’s his real name

Spelldon and Valentine would have a big family together

I feel like Spelldon was alone a lot of his childhood on Aeaea when his mother would spend one-on-one time with Casta, so he'd want a big family so nobody would ever be lonely. He appreciates privacy and alone time, but he wanted to make sure that every time someone needed to talk, there was someone there to listen

After Val was Turned, it was mostly just him and his mom in a boring, monotonous Vampire Court. And after they left, it was a big, empty house--and one of them was always gone, and they never talk to each other. He would want a big family so that the house was always loud and alive, and so that he was always busy with something or other

SO TRUE 🤞 (I’m literally delusional and if they aren’t brought back I will combust)

listen , kieran will return , and spelldon will make his official debut onscreen ! this will all happen in the live action sequel and subsequently in the animated series too .

Spelldon and casta bickering like all siblings ever in the live action even though they’re inserting themselves in the middle of a centuries long war and could die at any moment

Valentine has a Romanian accent when he speaks English and an Irish accent when he speaks Latin

I know Ellis probably isn’t valentine but if he isn’t they missed a really cool opportunity

Like Draculaura’s powerful aristocratic vampire ex boyfriend (and they could’ve changed the story so they ended on bad terms) who hunts her down to help him end the war?

AND in g1 he ends up with a witch? Who happens to be the younger brother of a popular performer and the goddess/pinnacle of magic?

They are exactly what the other should be fighting. They were raised to see the other as everything they should hate but they love each other in such a raw real way

Like that’s such a good story

Valentine is a morning person and he loves watching the sunrise and making breakfast for Spelldon and being productive

Spelldon sleeps like the dead and would never wake up if he didn’t have an alarm (ie valentine) to wake him up

So I had this idea a few days ago and I wanted to share it

So right before the climax of the live action, there’s a big battle between the witches and the monster high students. Casta gets really hurt and Spelldon realizes and blasts whoever he’s fighting out of the way to get to her because that’s his big sister.

He tries to heal her but his magic isn’t strong enough alone. Valentine (Ellis) starts to come forward and they have a “do you trust me” moment and Spelldon has to put aside his (likely lifelong) bias against vampires to save casta. They use their magic together (with maybe draculaura too, as in “the three of us” song from the first one) and save the day!

But then they reveal that Ellis’ mother is actually the real villain. I think they’ll do a twist villain who is very similar to the protag like they did in the first one. Like, Komos was part human-part monster just like Clawdeen was, so since Draculaura is the protag now (or at least central character) the twist/“real” villain will be a vampire who practices witchcraft (and I don’t think it’ll be Ellis himself since they seem to get along)

Anyway I wonder what personality Spelldon will get in the live action because he didn’t have one in g1 😇

Valentine and Spelldon in the monster high live action having a “do you trust me?” moment because they’re on opposite sides in a war but they get desperate and need each others help

RIGHT LIKE HIS EVIL SKILLS ARE SO WELL PRACTICED THAT HES SUCH A CLEVER STEALTHY FELLOW

He’s SO SMART but he’s also so stupid like you didn’t look at the WITCH’S (see: spells and curses) shell that you STOLE to notice the piece of paper that literally said it was cursed??

He’s such a silly guy

I seriously hate his mom like he told her his plan and she’s like “mmm actually no you suck” LIKE WHAT??

Plus if you really look into it Valentine didn’t get his magic back until he started working at the animal shelter. Mrs Goblin explains that it’s his love for the animals that gives him his magic back. I also headcanon that the “Spark” from Freaky Fusions is love energy (it makes a lot of sense) and what Val lives on. In that movie Frankie gets her Spark from friends and family.

AND FAMILY. So Val COULD have gotten his powers back from his mom if she loved him BUT SHE DOESNT. He isn’t getting any love from her. Plus canonically with her distant and uncarring actions in the diary she doesn’t seem great.

No wonder Valentine dealt with so much self hatred.

rereading the comic 'I Only Have Eye for You' and the summary has made me realise just how stealthy and cunning Valentine really is.

in the summary for the comic he is described as a 'shadowy figure' which means he must've been really quiet and agile to be able to constantly sneak in and out of so many different situations.

and in chapter 'Bull's Eye', he drops a packet of gummi worms right in front of Manny and the others without them noticing and being able to leave without a trace is really impressive

also in 'Locketness Monster', Gil sees Valentine leave a purple shell on his beach towel and either Valentine put on a convincing disguise or Gil is just stupid as hell (i hate gil). apparently Valentine got the magical purple shell from a sea witch??? theres that

and Valentine somehow got Cleo's dad's number and was able to have a conversation with him pretending (implied?) to be Deuce which means he was able to accurately mimic Deuce's speech manners and voice

so, in conclusion, i just really like him

ALSO VALENTINE'S MOTHER TOLD HIM THAT HIS ONLY STRENGTH WAS RUINING LOVE AND HE SHOULD STICK TO THAT???? Okay but Valentine (Ellis) uses his fake persona and accent to infiltrate monster high and opalesce rats him out because she’s actually southern and he’s just so bad at the accent that she can’t ignore it

Val and Circe definitely got along really well instantly

Watch Valentine have no screen time in the monster high movie when I’m making him being in it my entire personality

I feel like when he’s older, Valentine has a manticore named Juno that he found on the side of the road. He thought she was miniature because she was a baby and he didn’t notice she was so big until she was already full grown because he’s stupid

I feel like the Vampire Court in Monster High still functions a lot like the Roman Empire did. Like yeah they have a queen, but there's a council/senate and governors and stuff.

And I think Latin would still be a very prominent "official" language that they use as a standard for important things (especially with the ancient elite). Like they speak Romanian and Hungarian and Ottoman Turkish and stuff. But Latin (and/or maybe English) would be the language that "all" vampires would know so that's the one for decrees and laws and stuff.

Valentine and Spelldon are THAT pda couple like they’re always holding hands or right next to each other or laying on top of each other they cannot be apart

Valentine making dinner at the stove and Spelldon coming up behind him and hugging him and putting his head on his shoulder

They give each other little cheek kisses <3

valentine and spelldon are both very smart so they sometimes get into debates and challenge each other like

'i love you spell but you're wrong' 'excellent point, however,' '...wait that's good let me think' 'no' 'no??' 'no'

Valentine is an ugly sleeper. His mouth is always open like he’s a snake resetting its jaw after eating a mouse whole. He drools too, and he steals the blankets so that Spelldon wakes up freezing, covered with nothing but the sheets.

Spelldon is a loud sleeper. He snores ridiculously loud and it’s all nasal so it sounds like a pig had a baby with a fog horn. He’s also a kicker, and he’ll fling himself around and smack Valentine in the face. Valentine is also a light sleeper, especially in a bed rather than a coffin, and would wake up multiple times a night, his skin twinging from where Spelldon hit him.

So they sleep separately. But they moved Val’s coffin to right next to the bed.
