Spot: Am I the only one that finds it weird that I can transfer data from my brain to someone else’s by opening my mouth and pushing air with vibrations in their direction

*shopping for their new home*
Jack: We have plates already!
Davey: We have three non-matching plastic plates that Race stole from various Cracker Barrels.
Jack: They’re microwave and dishwasher safe.
Crutchie: *on the walkie-talkie* The trapper base is heavily guarded by attack dogs!
Davey: That’s bad.
Crutchie: Negative, they’re good boys.
So I usually don’t do things like this but it’s been like a year and I’m desperate sooooo...
Does anyone know the name of the newsies fic where Race is like actually a genius and Davey starts tearing his intelligence and he’s really good at probability which is why he’s so good at gambling but the when Davey confronts him about he says he doesn’t want to be super smart cause he doesn’t want to be different and stuff?!?!?!
Because I’ve been trying to find it for a while and I’m having terrible luck.
Davey: Jack stop napping and go sell the rest of your papes.
Jack: Napping sounds so childish. I prefer the term horizontal life pause.
Jack: If I die my funeral’s gonna be the biggest party and you’re all invited.
Davey: If?
Spot: Great, the only party I’ve ever been invited to and he might not even die.
Les: *sneaking into the house wearing a large coat*
Davey: What’s in the coat?
Les’ coat: *meows*
Les: Drugs.
Davey: And what do we say in these situations?
Jack: My anxiety may be chronic but this ass is iconic
Davey: not to be technical but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution

🧙♀️ Every Halloween, the gang dresses in costume and goes to “Mush” Myers house to celebrate. Now that Spot’s a part of the gang, he’ll get to participate in the festivities too. Spot can’t help but feel a little nervous about making a bad impression.

👯 Nobody expected David “Davey” Jacobs and Sean “Spot” Conlon to get along. Davey was known as talkative in class while Spot was silent and closed off. It came as a surprise to people to see the two start talking to each other, bonding over a shared love of classic literature and being tired of the silly antics of their friends.
🎃 It’s Halloween and the duo are dressed in costume. Sean’s a king and Davey’s a famous news reporter.

Newsies but Spot Conlon and Racetrack Higgins’ roles have been reversed.
It’s the same but Spot Conlon is now one of the Manhattan Newsies and Racetrack Higgins is the “King of Brooklyn.” Spot used to be head of Brooklyn but retired to Manhattan and Race took over his position. When Jack and Davey go to meet Race in an attempt to convince him to join the strike they find him in Sheepshead Bay, eagerly watching the races.
