genuinely though that video healed me like i already loved and trusted him a lot but he put effort into that video, and he was objectively fair and thorough about a lot of it. theres gonna be people twisting truths into lies no matter what but i am pretty proud to be a fan of a guy with so much willingness to be kind in the face of adversity and unjust hate, a guy willing to apologize, own up, and change while making a conscious effort to make a difference and improve the lives of those around him far and wide. i really do believe in change and growth because ive seen and experienced it in my own life ! ! ! ! ! ! someone who made transphobic comments at the age of 15 in the mid 2010s can be love their trans sibling with all their being by 2023. people who held racist views at a young age can grow, apologize, and work to make amends for the way they were brought up. people who i knew previously would raise their eyebrow at anyone unlike them can become an activist and an advocate. One of my long time (lowkey projecting but it fits character) head canons is that he deals with bad insomnia by literally just exhausting himself to force sleep like running until he can't and collapsing under a random tree or something for some sleepy time since its already like soft confirmed that he rarely sleeps and when he does its not really anywhere in particular just out in the wild somewhere people dont go

(Also for added angst factor the burn in his chest would probably remind him of old times, besides he feels like the type that would find comfort in a painful constant over something unfamiliar)

I love the thought of c!Dream being deeply unsettling. There's something off about him, something you can't put your finger on, that makes you dread being alone in a room together. Even when he's trapped in a prison cell, it feels like he's the one with the power. I love the thought of that being intentional—when he has no weapons, he can make his own. He still has his mind. He still has his voice.

Obviously that's not who c!Dream is By Default, but it's interesting how well he can play the character when he chooses to. When he decides it can work to his benefit.
