it was never a bad idea to take up a friend on their offer at least in his eyes. it wasn't like though he was going to do anything bad by doing so he just wanted to see with his own two eyes just how the older male was at least going off of what he had been told by a friend of his on this matter maybe this would be worth his while maybe not who really knows ? it wouldn't really hurt him in the long run if he didn't find out for himself all kidding aside though he had heard nothing but very good things about the older male and he was both CURIOUS to know if they were really like that in person and if they would be open to also becoming friends with him too as so far in his very young life he had only been friends with minhyuk who had pretty much raised him since he was a pup as his parents never really wanted anything to do with him after finding out that he had been tainted in a way which was never his own fault but still did hold a slight grudge on his parents for rejecting him when they did by sending off to the pound never to see him again though he still have it in his heart to one day see them again and pretty much ask them why did they abandoned him when he truly needed them as since then he always did seek that level of approval and love from other people especially those older than him as from what was previously mentioned he never received that level of love from his own birth parents with only the latter taking care of him when he was young so with that in mind he was curious on how exactly the older male would be in mind and if he'd accept him with open arms just like minhyuk had when he was younger. after wondering for quite sometime as he didn't exactly have the best sense of direction even with the map the latter had provided him to where they knew they would hang out most but he did eventually get there at least he thinks that he did upon entering he quickly scanned the room and spotted them just as quickly going up to them and giving them a quick tap on the shoulder “ hey ! i'm so sorry to bother you but you aren't jaebeom by any chance right ? ”

Minho came out from the employee area with his jacket and his school bag. He slipped the jacket around him and zipped it up. “I didn’t have any place in mind.. I do need something to eat though as we can pick up something on our way through. I haven’t had dinner yet. We can go wherever our heart takes us.” He moved a little closer to him as they walked along the busy streets.

he was quite surprised that the other male had still decided to go along with him tonight as he was almost half expecting them to not even show up after they said that they’d go with him after their shift would end. or at least that they did come back to him that they’d just outright avoid him or just plain ignore him acting like he was not even there at this time but it wasn’t like he had ever doubted minho as they did still return and willingly still wanted to go with after their shift had ended in hindsight though that reason why he’d been thinking like that at the time was probably due to the fact that despite being quite CLOSE or at least friendly acquaintances in the past they had gotten off on the wrong foot due in part to the people around them with the both of them quickly becoming victims after the aftermath of samuel and jae breaking up after many years of being together as couple and with samuel not really taking the lose very well not at all actually quickly loosing his mind and caving into those dark and lurid thoughts swimming around in his own head obsessing over wanting to get back together with the latter at any cost necessary with the both of them getting caught in the crossfire of that and drifting apart but now that they have this new lease on life they could start from the beginning and become friends with one another slowly but surely overtime even develop something even deeper than that time could only tell on that though flashing a warm smile to the other male as they had come out wrapping his free hand around their shoulder as they walked down the busy street glancing over at them maintaining eye contact as they spoke  “  no worries about my friend we can eat anywhere you’d like it will be my treat maybe   ?   now where would you like to eat   ?   ”  he asked still smiling as they continued to walk down the street with nowhere to go really at this point until he suggested.  “   oh   !   maybe we could go to the han river and eat some street food there   ?   if you’re up for it of course since i heard it can very pretty at this time of night.   ”   he added pausing briefly to wait for their answer to his suggestion.

despite only being together for a couple of months there was no way that he could ever leave them. even if he wanted to which neither one of them did want to in the first place due in fact that through the course that short span of time dating each other they had slowly , but surely gotten obsessed over one another that there was no one in this world that could and would have them no matter what that no matter how toxic or abusive their relationship might have been both past and present they were never in a million years ever leave each other why even would they ? especially knowing that they were all that they needed in this life as they could easily cut off contact with friends and family without a single notice and be with each other. well it was while they were at a party for a mutual friend of theirs that the dark side of their relationship did FINALLY come into light plain for everyone to see as they had made their way through the party greeting the people that they knew as they did with ares only really staying by the sidelines keeping his clear distance from everyone knowing how they were so possessive of each other especially in social situations like this only giving the occasional nod here & there to other people in order not to provoke those jealous tendencies of each others now ! well with that being said though they didn't heed their own advice it seems as from the corner of his eyes he notice them standing and talking to someone a little too close for his liking instantly seeing red as he pushed his way through the crowd before reaching his intended target grabbing them by collar of their shirt roughly baring his fangs “ just what do you think you're doing with what's mine buddy ? ”

“Yes, that’s what I’m wondering why you’re here after what happened.” He also remained eye contact with him tilting his head slightly wondering if he was plotting anything. “I think maybe you felt something during our little choreography run through. That’s what it is isn’t it??” He questioned just wanting to make sure he’s on the same page as him. He could tell the other was questioning something but he wasn’t sure what. He wondered if he felt something for him.

now that he was face to face with the other male now that there was no one else that could distract them from focusing on the matter at hand. he doesn’t even know what to say to them because he clearly was just as lost if not even much more lost than they were at this very moment because if he were to truly to say to them what was on their mind right now he was unsure of what they’d say to him let alone how they’d even react since as far as their current relationship was with each other it was very much strained they had practically hated each other and saw each other more as competition than as friends if you could even call them that at this point really. and yeah   !   sure they had been friends or at least they were on friendly terms still when they were in school together especially at the start of knowing each other back then but the more   &   more pressure and dread they both felt or at least that was what he was thinking at that time to succeed and make a name for himself outside of his already well known and well connected family with both of his parents equally pushing him to do more   ,   be something much more bigger than they ever were in this world he freely to distance himself from them and over time saw them as an equal but more of a rival if that even made any sense in anyone else’s mind other than his but with them now graduated and working through their way in this world something inside of him that he had for the longest time had been suppressing for reasons that he himself not say out loud even to himself but then again with that moment that had happened between them had somehow someway sparked something inside of him and just like he was on autopilot he’d rushed over after he had gotten himself changed into their trailer unannounced ready maybe   ?   to confess what he had been feeling for the other male all this time gulping down the thick saliva that was already forming within his throat clearing it before he actually began to speak  “   alright   !   but please don’t say this to anyone else.  ”  he said with pleading eyes already battling with himself that he was about to let loose his darkest secret to them he was just hoping that whatever the outcome that it would all turn out all good at the end taking in a deep breath closing both of his eyes very briefly in order to calm himself down mainly before he spoke up again  “   if i were to be honest YES i did.   ”  he added silently praying that their next words or actions for that matter would not be so harsh on him for feeling this way towards them at this time.  

all she could do in this very moment was laugh her ass off at least judging by the other female reacted to her prior words. she was glad more than anything that they didn't really take her words previously to heart and that she was clearly just joking with them , meaning no harm whatsoever to them only wanting to break the obvious tension between them as they had continuously poured over their notes for their upcoming math exam which only up until now had been looming over their heads as their professor had been basically threatening them that they'd NEVER graduate if they had failed this upcoming exam as it did count for more than half of their score for the whole entire semester and don't get me wrong here hannah did obviously care about passing her classes like any other college student would but it wouldn't really hurt anyone if they still had a little fun here & there while they were studying. that was until they had ducked their head down making it very clear to the both of them that they had been making too much noise at the library while they were doing so as they'd caught the attention of the librarian telling the both of them to keep it down or that the very next time they had caught them making too much noise again with their constant barge of giggles they'd kick them out before heading back to their duties filing away returned books from other students glancing over to make sure that their cost was clear before erupting again into laughter , smile becoming even more evident on her face before she had gently nudged by her friend in return from earlier “ hey ! if you weren't making so much noise we wouldn't gotten into trouble like that. ” she said words dripping with obvious sarcasm letting out another soft giggle in response “ i don't know either but we better study for this exam pls ─── my treat after this maybe ? ” she added pleading with them to continue what they were doing earlier pouting slightly in order to convince them.

                       IT TOOK A FEW SECONDS TO TRULY REGISTER what her friend had said before a mock expression of distaste followed and she grumbled , ❛ —- why you gotta do me dirty like that ? ❜ of course it was all in jest and the moment she felt her friend koala ' ing onto her , the breath against her neck had her jokingly pulling away placing a perfectly manicured hand over her face . ❛ ew bro , i don't want your cooties !! ❜ having been friends since the dawn of time , she felt comfortable acting in such a way with her . ❛ you used to say i was the prettiest girl in the world —- .. ❜ unable to keep a straight face at her own lie , she burst into a fit of giggles also before hearing the librarian shush them both . gritting her teeth , she ducked her head down before gesturing for hannah to be quiet with her index finger against natural pout .

❛ well done for getting us into trouble , ❜ a hissed whisper but humor evident in her tone as she nudged her friend once more for good measure . staring at the multitude of equations upon the page in front of her , she genuinely did feel like she was about to cry ( much to the dismay of her previous comment ) , a s t r e s s e d hand running through dark locks . ❛ i'm a history major .. what has maths gotta do with anything ?! ❜

how ‘bout a polyam plot where muse a & muse b are best friends ( possibly with existing crushes or sexual attraction toward on another ) with hierarchy on social scale , meet / take interest on muse c whom is quite the opposite ; bottom of the totem pole archetype & inexperienced , who also has a crush of both best friends & a total dream to be with either one of them . better yet , complete fantasy having them both together . not far off from the idea , musa a & muse b propose to be muse c’s sexual partners helping out inexperienced one while also giving all 3 parties guaranteed outlet of success . means of strictly physical arrangement evolving into emotional attachments either having all functioning together or potentially a love triangle in the making .

this chanced encounter had clearly been a surprise to the both of them at this point as he’d obviously never expected in a million years to run into a childhood friend on the street like this. but they were again standing in front of each other after what felt like a lifetime apart only to be reunited on a random cold afternoon while he was running some errands before he had to pick up his kids from their daycare in a couple hours   ,   from face value they hadn’t changed one bit from the very last time they’ve seen each other again in the flesh only time could tell if they had still remained the same person they were when they were playing together as kids regardless of that though he was still very much glad to run into the other male again like this and wanted more than anything to rekindle their long lost friendship again if they were comfortable doing that themselves of course he did have to confirm that fact much later into their current conversation having to first APOLOGIZE for sneaking up behind them and surprising them like this settling down the things he was currently carrying in his arms in order to bend down to pick up the various supplies they had gathered for something he’d have to figure that out a later date obviously handing everything back to them once he did letting out a soft chuckle in response feeling very apologetic for pretty much scaring them like this  “   i’m so sorry for scaring you but yes it’s me dooyoung.   ”  he said slightly bowing before continuing on with his words  “   you must be hyunho right   ?   unless i’m sorely mistaken instead.   ” he added feeling almost for certain that the man standing in front of him right now was that childhood friend he had growing up in his pack all those years ago but he still wanted to make sure that was them before delve in deeper with them and rekindle once again their what he’d thought their long dead friendship up until now that is though.

Yejoon nodded as he was a little tired already and would need to unpack his stuff and get used to his new home. “Sounds good..” It had been a very long ride and he was wanting to get used to his new environment. “Sure.. I’d like to meet them if they’re ready to meet me of course.” He took his hand shivering slightly as it was really cold it was. “Just lead the way..” He smiled as he would follow him out. 

he was just glad that despite how awkward things had gotten between them they were still so kind to humour them to an extent. and even if on any given day there would be no way he’d react and speak so boldly to a mere stranger without there being a mutual understanding between the both of them and plus what made it even more awkward at least in his eyes was that they were practically working for him   ,   with his parents hiring them out to paint a series of family portraits in order to shore up their public image as of late and as previously mentioned it would never be like him to brazenly act like a such a fool towards the person he had developed a crush on no matter how many times he tries to deny that fact at this point what on earth would even dare to explain why he’d been acting so odd around them even he would more often than not act rather cold and aloof towards people especially the ones he hadn’t meet before in order maintain that mysterious vibe he had about himself. but with them things were clearly between the both of them though he wasn’t even sure if they had felt that same way as he did at this point in time when for all he knows they just probably thought he was being weird and was probably like this towards all of their guest human or otherwise to their castle which hadn’t been a lot in the past few centuries which would probably explain why he’d been rusty when interacting with the other male as it had probably been quite sometime since he’d interacted with a human   ,   let alone another one of his own kind in what felt like centuries then again though there was no way that he’d be so rusty to the point where he would make a complete fool of himself to a mere stranger and within his own parent’s house no less he just hoped that none of the servants around would be so kind to report this MISTAKE in his judgement to his parents or he’d be deep trouble but for now though he just keep that same cool levelheadedness he’d always have about himself and then strike when the oppurtunity permits it with the other male and maybe   ?   get to know them a little bit more before making his move on them so to speak.  “   sounds good to me i’m pretty sure they’d be dying to finally meet you so please follow me. ”  he said heading in the direction of his parent’s office within the grand castle.
