Yejoon nodded as he was a little tired already and would need to unpack his stuff and get used to his new home. “Sounds good..” It had been a very long ride and he was wanting to get used to his new environment. “Sure.. I’d like to meet them if they’re ready to meet me of course.” He took his hand shivering slightly as it was really cold it was. “Just lead the way..” He smiled as he would follow him out. 

he was just glad that despite how awkward things had gotten between them they were still so kind to humour them to an extent. and even if on any given day there would be no way he’d react and speak so boldly to a mere stranger without there being a mutual understanding between the both of them and plus what made it even more awkward at least in his eyes was that they were practically working for him   ,   with his parents hiring them out to paint a series of family portraits in order to shore up their public image as of late and as previously mentioned it would never be like him to brazenly act like a such a fool towards the person he had developed a crush on no matter how many times he tries to deny that fact at this point what on earth would even dare to explain why he’d been acting so odd around them even he would more often than not act rather cold and aloof towards people especially the ones he hadn’t meet before in order maintain that mysterious vibe he had about himself. but with them things were clearly between the both of them though he wasn’t even sure if they had felt that same way as he did at this point in time when for all he knows they just probably thought he was being weird and was probably like this towards all of their guest human or otherwise to their castle which hadn’t been a lot in the past few centuries which would probably explain why he’d been rusty when interacting with the other male as it had probably been quite sometime since he’d interacted with a human   ,   let alone another one of his own kind in what felt like centuries then again though there was no way that he’d be so rusty to the point where he would make a complete fool of himself to a mere stranger and within his own parent’s house no less he just hoped that none of the servants around would be so kind to report this MISTAKE in his judgement to his parents or he’d be deep trouble but for now though he just keep that same cool levelheadedness he’d always have about himself and then strike when the oppurtunity permits it with the other male and maybe   ?   get to know them a little bit more before making his move on them so to speak.  “   sounds good to me i’m pretty sure they’d be dying to finally meet you so please follow me. ”  he said heading in the direction of his parent’s office within the grand castle.

his world had crumbled at this feet once he'd heard those painful words come out of their mouth. even if he knew that deep down they had meant those words completely , not hiding any sort of pretenses behind them that there was no way that kiyoung could just as easily move on from up until now was a still a very fresh even open wound upon finding out that the boyfriend he'd loved for many years was cheating on him and yes ! they had both made great strides towards their shared goal of moving on and putting what had happened in the past those very thoughts still had very much lingered at the back of his mind even now when they should be sharing his happy moment together for once in a very long time and as much he hated to admit it and as much as he hated to lose adrian ─── he was right that would so much better for them to part ways for now and silently work on things their own little ways with the thoughts of loosing his boyfriend a second time had only served to break him down even more than the initial news of finding out about the cheating ever did he honestly was already such a MESS inside not really able to trust not even himself , let alone the other people in his life he was already in shock from hearing those words coming out of their mouth that at first he didn't seem to react to their words instantly dropping the smile from his face and avoiding any and all eye contact with them before he'd finally spoken up “ you're right i understand. ” he said wrapping his arms around them one last time in return leaning in close to their body wanting to savior their warmth for the last time “ but please can we still sleep together in bed i just feel so scared without you. ” he added looking up at them fighting back the tears already welling up in his eyes.

on the surface there seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary between the both of them. as throughout the short time they've gotten to know each other they have gotten pretty close with one another though being like this did already really raise eyebrows as they were not the most likely of pairings as she seemed very innocent and clean while him on the other hand was the complete opposite being very rough around the edges , without a single care in the entire world only really looking after himself and of course as if like clockwork she had been warned about him and his reputation around town for being more than a bad boy even being labelled an outright danger to her and her budding singing career but that hadn't really deterred them both from being friends or maybe even something more ? as the more and more they spent time together there was already something bubbling under the surface with the prolonged maybe accidental eye contact and the hand holding though it wasn't like woohyuk was the type to gain feelings for the other just because of those surface level things as there was no way he would ever let himself become so weak & venerable with someone but it was different with hyemi as she just made him feel all so warm and fuzzy on the inside almost like he was truly loved by her in the platonic sense of course which he'd never felt before in his life really though there were lingering thoughts that what if all of this was just face value that they truly were just FRIENDS with one another nothing more nothing else and yes ! those sort of things did take quite a lot of time to get an answer to but it wasn't like he'd received that privilege as one day while they were going through their typical day together hanging out doing nothing really in particular his once closed off heart had maybe by accident who really knows on that what he really wanted to say out loud as they were just holding hands “ you're so pretty. ” he said but once his brain had fully been made aware what he had just said to them he sat up on the bed they were both laying down on covering his mouth with his hand wishing he'd never said what he said not really knowing what he had to say next until “ oh shit ! i'm so sorry about that hyemi must have been a slip of the tongue ─── i'm so in love with you. ” he added already going red in the face as he was still in shock on what he was even saying right now.

Minho came out from the employee area with his jacket and his school bag. He slipped the jacket around him and zipped it up. “I didn’t have any place in mind.. I do need something to eat though as we can pick up something on our way through. I haven’t had dinner yet. We can go wherever our heart takes us.” He moved a little closer to him as they walked along the busy streets.

he was quite surprised that the other male had still decided to go along with him tonight as he was almost half expecting them to not even show up after they said that they’d go with him after their shift would end. or at least that they did come back to him that they’d just outright avoid him or just plain ignore him acting like he was not even there at this time but it wasn’t like he had ever doubted minho as they did still return and willingly still wanted to go with after their shift had ended in hindsight though that reason why he’d been thinking like that at the time was probably due to the fact that despite being quite CLOSE or at least friendly acquaintances in the past they had gotten off on the wrong foot due in part to the people around them with the both of them quickly becoming victims after the aftermath of samuel and jae breaking up after many years of being together as couple and with samuel not really taking the lose very well not at all actually quickly loosing his mind and caving into those dark and lurid thoughts swimming around in his own head obsessing over wanting to get back together with the latter at any cost necessary with the both of them getting caught in the crossfire of that and drifting apart but now that they have this new lease on life they could start from the beginning and become friends with one another slowly but surely overtime even develop something even deeper than that time could only tell on that though flashing a warm smile to the other male as they had come out wrapping his free hand around their shoulder as they walked down the busy street glancing over at them maintaining eye contact as they spoke  “  no worries about my friend we can eat anywhere you’d like it will be my treat maybe   ?   now where would you like to eat   ?   ”  he asked still smiling as they continued to walk down the street with nowhere to go really at this point until he suggested.  “   oh   !   maybe we could go to the han river and eat some street food there   ?   if you’re up for it of course since i heard it can very pretty at this time of night.   ”   he added pausing briefly to wait for their answer to his suggestion.

“   i’ve been missing you like crazy too i’m just glad that we can together again like this i’m so sorry for acting the way i did earlier i just missed so much babe.   ”  he said wrapping his arms around them tightly.

all she could do in this very moment was laugh her ass off at least judging by the other female reacted to her prior words. she was glad more than anything that they didn't really take her words previously to heart and that she was clearly just joking with them , meaning no harm whatsoever to them only wanting to break the obvious tension between them as they had continuously poured over their notes for their upcoming math exam which only up until now had been looming over their heads as their professor had been basically threatening them that they'd NEVER graduate if they had failed this upcoming exam as it did count for more than half of their score for the whole entire semester and don't get me wrong here hannah did obviously care about passing her classes like any other college student would but it wouldn't really hurt anyone if they still had a little fun here & there while they were studying. that was until they had ducked their head down making it very clear to the both of them that they had been making too much noise at the library while they were doing so as they'd caught the attention of the librarian telling the both of them to keep it down or that the very next time they had caught them making too much noise again with their constant barge of giggles they'd kick them out before heading back to their duties filing away returned books from other students glancing over to make sure that their cost was clear before erupting again into laughter , smile becoming even more evident on her face before she had gently nudged by her friend in return from earlier “ hey ! if you weren't making so much noise we wouldn't gotten into trouble like that. ” she said words dripping with obvious sarcasm letting out another soft giggle in response “ i don't know either but we better study for this exam pls ─── my treat after this maybe ? ” she added pleading with them to continue what they were doing earlier pouting slightly in order to convince them.

                       IT TOOK A FEW SECONDS TO TRULY REGISTER what her friend had said before a mock expression of distaste followed and she grumbled , ❛ —- why you gotta do me dirty like that ? ❜ of course it was all in jest and the moment she felt her friend koala ' ing onto her , the breath against her neck had her jokingly pulling away placing a perfectly manicured hand over her face . ❛ ew bro , i don't want your cooties !! ❜ having been friends since the dawn of time , she felt comfortable acting in such a way with her . ❛ you used to say i was the prettiest girl in the world —- .. ❜ unable to keep a straight face at her own lie , she burst into a fit of giggles also before hearing the librarian shush them both . gritting her teeth , she ducked her head down before gesturing for hannah to be quiet with her index finger against natural pout .

no matter how many times they'd fight and argue with one another over the same stupid little things. he would be lying even to himself that no matter volatile their relationship had become over the years they've been together there was something almost inhuman that had been pulling him towards ian , that no matter how many times he'd go over and over in his head that he had to get over the other male and move on with his life no matter how many times he'd tried to focus on himself and his son maybe ? even put all of his remaining energies into running his cafe leaving him in the past finally nothing would work almost as if they were destined to be each other even if when they were still together in the past all they pretty much did was yell at each other at the top of their lungs after one if not both of them triggered an argument between them over the smallest of things and after they'd get tired of that they'd only end up having the angriest hate sex afterwards in order to make up for having their little fight earlier and then they'd just as easily repeat the same VICIOUS cycle over & over day in and day out though they did have their good days together yes ! which for obvious reasons was something that mingyu had missed very dearly showing each other maybe even themselves just why they ended up with each other in the first place even if it was still quite hazy in his mind probably due in part to the alcohol he'd already consumed at the party they were both currently attending he could still remember how they both first meet each other and how they both slowly but surely fell in love with each other , how they gotten to know each other through late night talks while out late at night when their kids had gotten to bed of course walking by han river or even the fact that both of their kids had become so very close with each other through the years they've gotten to know each other and eventually dated one another which was obviously something he really appreciated about ian that despite all of their bad times together they both at the end of the day truly loved each other no doubt about that the only question is that does that fact still hold up even today ? with how palpable their reactions to seeing each other for the first time again after many years apart from one other it was almost as if they had finally found their missing half their missing piece and even if there were still very evident warning signs for them not to get back together there was still no denying that deep down within his heart that he still want ian back in his life again and to pretty much pick up from where they had left off from one another in the past the question is though is that would the other still reciprocate his feelings like this and be willing to continue along with their relationship just like it was in the past or would they reject their advances outright for whatever other reason they may have as no matter how much he loved the other male there was still no inkling on if they still felt the same way as he did with them.

though the very though still linger at the back of his mind though was if they did for whatever miracle he could pray for would they end up the same way they were in the past. as from looking at them during the present day they hadn't really changed that much maybe ? this was probably the alcohol talking here but in his eyes he did get more handsome as time passed but as if snapping back into reality shaking his head he responded “ oh ! i'm sorry but i'm doing good as well i've just been busy with my cafe and haven't really gotten time to go out like this unlike today of course. ” he said let out a soft chuckle in response as he leaned in for their kiss onto his cheek wishing that it wasn't so bittersweet as he'd already longed for their arms to be wrapped around him like it had been in the past though he was just as happy to be around them again like this he just wished that they were to meet again not under such awkward circumstances though he can only dream of that at this point really. “ well i'm really glad to see you again ian. ” he added words lingering as he tried to mask behind them what his heart really wanted to say to the other male how he truly felt about them , how he'd longed to be with them again and be in their embrace like they had in the past he just hoped though there was something between them before it was too late of course.

𖹭 𝅄 . ׁ ˳ he    would    be    a    hypocrite    if    he    claimed    ignorance    about    the    reasons    behind    the    inevitable    end    of    their    relationship    .    he    couldn't    escape    the    awareness    that    everything    had    grown    suffocating    and    overwhelming    between    them    .    the    constant    bickering    and    heated    arguments    had    painted    their    love    in    shades    of    conflict    .    yet    ,    as    much    as    it    no    longer    felt    right    ,    he    found    it    excruciatingly    challenging    to    walk    away    .    everything    connected    to    mingyu    held    an    addictive    allure    that    defied    reason    .    breaking    up    had    become    a    difficult    task    because    he    had    grown    accustomed    to    mingyu's    presence    .    despite    the    fights    ,    mingyu    had    always    been    his    refuge    ,    until    that    one    fateful    day    when    everything    changed    ,    and    as    if    by    some    mystical    force    ,    they    became    strangers    ,    fading    from    each    other's    lives    .     he    had    tried    to    move    on    ,    but    mia    made    it    nearly    impossible    with    her    persistent    inquiries    about    mingyu    .    the    little    girl    seemed    oblivious    to    the    complexity    of    their    split    .    deep    down    ,    he    recognized    that    he    could    never    truly    erase    mingyu    from    his    heart    ,    and    seeing    him    at    the    party    only    confirmed    this    painful    truth    . ian    ,    although    slightly    taken    aback    by    the    unexpected    reunion    ,    finds    himself    drawn    to    his    ex lover    and    steps    closer    .    perhaps    it    was    the    effect    of    the    alcohol    coursing    through    his    veins    that    emboldened    him    ,    or    maybe    it    was    a    surge    of    long buried    emotions    .    he    couldn't    say    for    sure    ,    but    there    he    was    ,    making    his    way    toward    mingyu    ,    the    echo    of    his    heartbeat    filling    his    ears    .    “ hey    , ”    he    utters    ,    his    hand    landing    on    mingyu's    shoulder    as    he    leans    in    to    plant    an    almost    involuntary    kiss    on    his    cheek    .    ian    doesn’t    care    if    he’s    being    imprudent    ,    he’s    never    done    .    the    scent    of    mingyu's    perfume    lingers    in    the    air    as    he    pulls    back    ,    finally    meeting    mingyu's    gaze    . he    hasn’t    changed    much    ,    or    at    least    not    significantly    ,    he    thinks    .    perhaps    his    hair    is    a    bit    longer ?    ian    isn’t    sure    ,    but    mingyu    still    possesses    that    timeless    beauty    that    captivated    him    .    “ i'm    good    . ”    he    replies    ,    his    eyes    never    leaving    mingyu's    face    .    there’s    a    subtle    clenching    of    his    jaw    ,    a    sign    that    beneath    the    veneer    of    civility    ,    emotions    still    simmer    .    “ i    never    thought    i'd    see    you    again    either    .    i    haven't    seen    you    at    any    of    the    other    parties    so . . .    i    thought    you'd    moved    to    another    city    or    something    . ”    he    admits    .    “ how    about    you ? ”    he    asks    ,    his    head    tilted    slightly    to    the    side    .    “ how    . . . how have    you    been ? ”
