peony grasped at her heart, over the dark maroon sweater that kept her cozy and warm. there was something wrong, in the sense of the unknown. she placed the cups on a nearby place, and ran the tissues along the areas that got splashed, thanking him again in the process. 

makade nenookaasi shared the wealth with nature, all things born with the air, the wind, the fire and the water. all of the elements were known as home to the spirits who had guided and allowed peace to the journey forward. once she realized that the love between the two slowly started cracking, the heart of hers had tried to stay strong and calm the emotions that had fallen. her heart, her soul wanted to bind the broken connection, though this different kind of wealth was so unknown to anything she believed in … though, to survive, she had to make the abrupt decision to leave. to run in hopes that reincarnation could bring them together, that spiritual love can last longer than humans know. she didn’t want this to become a mere dream, in which she would wake up crying, and craving the warmth that she knew with him. the birch bark canoe no longer brought a piece of adventure, as the tears in the water below stained her eyes. the cries had gone on, a part of her heart had been missing, the second they lost physical contact. her form had died, the emotions went to the water, the flame, the gusts of wind that travel with the leaves. in order to keep her mind at bay, she made sure to give life meaning, to appreciate each and every single day… and now that she had her last breath… all she wondered was when they would meet again and how powerful it would be to look at him, knowing the love she had didn’t shatter. she kept it growing instead. 

“i am a party goer. and don’t apologize. i do happen to be lost in the train of thought too. you aren’t alone is what i mean to say. i got invited out too. three month anniversary of friendship.” she had hoped to remain in a steady headspace, but being beside this stranger… drumming. she could hear a hummingbird, along with a woman singing. “you… “ peony wanted to apologize as she went to wipe a tear off her cheek. more and more tears simultaneously fell. “i don’t… trust me. i don’t want to cry in front of you. i don’t know what’s gotten into me.” she turned her face away. “honestly, i was going to offer you a drink for helping out… but now i feel pathetic asking you while i am a mess.”  

it was more and more evident that just being near each other was already starting to effect each other more than they’d hope. which from the outside looking in was rather strange was they had NEVER meet one another beforehand and there clearly was such a deep and profound connection already built up between the both of them and obviously it would be like he wanted to jump to conclusion here and just come out with it that he thinks that they are his long lost lover that had died alongside their love many many years ago how ridiculous would that sound to any other person   ?   he’d just as quickly laughed at mocked for the duration he would studying at the school at least that was the mere thoughts that were running through his mind at that time it was something he was telling himself moreso knowing if anyone of his brothers were here with him right now they’d just as easily tell him that there was no proven way that they were them that what he was feeling inside was nothing unless he could prove for a fact that the person standing in front of him right now was the same person that he had loved with all of his undying heart that he’d just as easily given over his kingdom and then some to her in order to make her happy and that he’d gave up all of his riches and privileges that he had at birth right he’d gladly throw all of that way like it was nothing to have her again in his loving arms. but then again he could not as easily deny what he was feeling inside of his heart that as previously stated that he just felt in his gut feeling that despite never seeing this person ever in his newly reincarnated life was the one his only true love but how exactly was he going to prove them to anyone let alone to the people that he grown to care for over the centuries as them just randomly out of nowhere crying was just a mere coincidence maybe it was because of something unrelated in their life maybe it really was the universe’s way of saying that this was the sign that they had finally found one another after many centuries looking for each other through their shared lifetimes he just had to stick out with them in order to found out the truth of who exactly they were and if they really were the one he’d been looking for all of this time and plus it would have been more than rude to leave them in such distress like this without trying his best to console them as it was just in his nature that hadn’t changed since he’d died all of those years ago to help out anyone and everyone who were in trouble letting out a cheeky laugh in response to their previous words covering his mouth with his free hand  “   HAHA that makes sense.   ”  he said before his lips began to slump downward when he’d noticed that they had began to cry out of nowhere showing how worried he’d become of her despite not really knowing that much about them at this party gently placing his arms onto her back rubbing slowly and taking her hand into his  “   oh  !  no what happened   ?   did i say something wrong   ?   i’m so sorry if i did.   ”

Minjun nodded as he understood. “Don’t cry.. I promise to go as slow as you need me to go.” He reached out carefully wiping away his tears. He held Youngnam close to his chest letting him cry into his arms. He rubbed his back tracing small circles on his back trying his best to soothe him. He hummed softly and looked down at him. “Can I do anything for you to make you feel better??” He asked him not wanting him to feel guilty or scared. 

he just felt so very helpless in this situation often priding in himself that he would always have plan to get out of any sticky situation. but with what was happening now between the both of them was entirely unplanned as he obviously no intention in telling the older male just how truly felt about them and that he really wanted to take their relationship if you could even call it that at this point really to the next level thinking that now was not the right time for him to tell them as he was much too scared to face what they’d say about his sudden confession or how they would react to it as the last thing he wanted was for them to outright reject them or even worse comes to worse leave them because of this but yes   !   he still did have the plan to tell them about this when they were both ready enough in their relationship to go through it but now that after just one intense drunken night out together here he was crying his eyes out having already confessed how he truly felt about his bestfriend and though they had confessed in return that they had felt the same way about him and wanted to given being boyfriends of one another a try opting in to take things as slow as he needed it to be  ───  he just felt so much shame for forcing the other male into this situation without their prior consent as he had just practically dragged them into this mess on this lazy sunday afternoon where they should be just laying around nursing away their hangovers from the night prior here they both were coming to terms with the reality of what their relationship would and should be though he was still grateful towards minjun for being so warm   &   patient with him and despite everything they’ve both already gone through just today he had promised to be with youngnam through thick and thin no matter what at this point clinging on more tightly to the older male wanting to savor in their warmth as he slowly began to wipe away his remaining tears from his face before turning back towards them with a small smile already creeping onto his lips  “   thank you so very much minjun for understanding.   ”  he said planting a gentle little kiss onto their cheek  “   i’m just so sorry for being a crybaby today but maybe i can make it to you for all of the mess i’ve created today how about we have a movie night in and i can whip up some sort of feast for you how does that sound   ?   ”  he added letting out a cute little giggle in response brushing one of his free hands onto their cheek.

on the surface there seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary between the both of them. as throughout the short time they've gotten to know each other they have gotten pretty close with one another though being like this did already really raise eyebrows as they were not the most likely of pairings as she seemed very innocent and clean while him on the other hand was the complete opposite being very rough around the edges , without a single care in the entire world only really looking after himself and of course as if like clockwork she had been warned about him and his reputation around town for being more than a bad boy even being labelled an outright danger to her and her budding singing career but that hadn't really deterred them both from being friends or maybe even something more ? as the more and more they spent time together there was already something bubbling under the surface with the prolonged maybe accidental eye contact and the hand holding though it wasn't like woohyuk was the type to gain feelings for the other just because of those surface level things as there was no way he would ever let himself become so weak & venerable with someone but it was different with hyemi as she just made him feel all so warm and fuzzy on the inside almost like he was truly loved by her in the platonic sense of course which he'd never felt before in his life really though there were lingering thoughts that what if all of this was just face value that they truly were just FRIENDS with one another nothing more nothing else and yes ! those sort of things did take quite a lot of time to get an answer to but it wasn't like he'd received that privilege as one day while they were going through their typical day together hanging out doing nothing really in particular his once closed off heart had maybe by accident who really knows on that what he really wanted to say out loud as they were just holding hands “ you're so pretty. ” he said but once his brain had fully been made aware what he had just said to them he sat up on the bed they were both laying down on covering his mouth with his hand wishing he'd never said what he said not really knowing what he had to say next until “ oh shit ! i'm so sorry about that hyemi must have been a slip of the tongue ─── i'm so in love with you. ” he added already going red in the face as he was still in shock on what he was even saying right now.

Minho came out from the employee area with his jacket and his school bag. He slipped the jacket around him and zipped it up. “I didn’t have any place in mind.. I do need something to eat though as we can pick up something on our way through. I haven’t had dinner yet. We can go wherever our heart takes us.” He moved a little closer to him as they walked along the busy streets.

he was quite surprised that the other male had still decided to go along with him tonight as he was almost half expecting them to not even show up after they said that they’d go with him after their shift would end. or at least that they did come back to him that they’d just outright avoid him or just plain ignore him acting like he was not even there at this time but it wasn’t like he had ever doubted minho as they did still return and willingly still wanted to go with after their shift had ended in hindsight though that reason why he’d been thinking like that at the time was probably due to the fact that despite being quite CLOSE or at least friendly acquaintances in the past they had gotten off on the wrong foot due in part to the people around them with the both of them quickly becoming victims after the aftermath of samuel and jae breaking up after many years of being together as couple and with samuel not really taking the lose very well not at all actually quickly loosing his mind and caving into those dark and lurid thoughts swimming around in his own head obsessing over wanting to get back together with the latter at any cost necessary with the both of them getting caught in the crossfire of that and drifting apart but now that they have this new lease on life they could start from the beginning and become friends with one another slowly but surely overtime even develop something even deeper than that time could only tell on that though flashing a warm smile to the other male as they had come out wrapping his free hand around their shoulder as they walked down the busy street glancing over at them maintaining eye contact as they spoke  “  no worries about my friend we can eat anywhere you’d like it will be my treat maybe   ?   now where would you like to eat   ?   ”  he asked still smiling as they continued to walk down the street with nowhere to go really at this point until he suggested.  “   oh   !   maybe we could go to the han river and eat some street food there   ?   if you’re up for it of course since i heard it can very pretty at this time of night.   ”   he added pausing briefly to wait for their answer to his suggestion.

“   i’ve been missing you like crazy too i’m just glad that we can together again like this i’m so sorry for acting the way i did earlier i just missed so much babe.   ”  he said wrapping his arms around them tightly.
