no matter how many times they'd fight and argue with one another over the same stupid little things. he would be lying even to himself that no matter volatile their relationship had become over the years they've been together there was something almost inhuman that had been pulling him towards ian , that no matter how many times he'd go over and over in his head that he had to get over the other male and move on with his life no matter how many times he'd tried to focus on himself and his son maybe ? even put all of his remaining energies into running his cafe leaving him in the past finally nothing would work almost as if they were destined to be each other even if when they were still together in the past all they pretty much did was yell at each other at the top of their lungs after one if not both of them triggered an argument between them over the smallest of things and after they'd get tired of that they'd only end up having the angriest hate sex afterwards in order to make up for having their little fight earlier and then they'd just as easily repeat the same VICIOUS cycle over & over day in and day out though they did have their good days together yes ! which for obvious reasons was something that mingyu had missed very dearly showing each other maybe even themselves just why they ended up with each other in the first place even if it was still quite hazy in his mind probably due in part to the alcohol he'd already consumed at the party they were both currently attending he could still remember how they both first meet each other and how they both slowly but surely fell in love with each other , how they gotten to know each other through late night talks while out late at night when their kids had gotten to bed of course walking by han river or even the fact that both of their kids had become so very close with each other through the years they've gotten to know each other and eventually dated one another which was obviously something he really appreciated about ian that despite all of their bad times together they both at the end of the day truly loved each other no doubt about that the only question is that does that fact still hold up even today ? with how palpable their reactions to seeing each other for the first time again after many years apart from one other it was almost as if they had finally found their missing half their missing piece and even if there were still very evident warning signs for them not to get back together there was still no denying that deep down within his heart that he still want ian back in his life again and to pretty much pick up from where they had left off from one another in the past the question is though is that would the other still reciprocate his feelings like this and be willing to continue along with their relationship just like it was in the past or would they reject their advances outright for whatever other reason they may have as no matter how much he loved the other male there was still no inkling on if they still felt the same way as he did with them.

though the very though still linger at the back of his mind though was if they did for whatever miracle he could pray for would they end up the same way they were in the past. as from looking at them during the present day they hadn't really changed that much maybe ? this was probably the alcohol talking here but in his eyes he did get more handsome as time passed but as if snapping back into reality shaking his head he responded “ oh ! i'm sorry but i'm doing good as well i've just been busy with my cafe and haven't really gotten time to go out like this unlike today of course. ” he said let out a soft chuckle in response as he leaned in for their kiss onto his cheek wishing that it wasn't so bittersweet as he'd already longed for their arms to be wrapped around him like it had been in the past though he was just as happy to be around them again like this he just wished that they were to meet again not under such awkward circumstances though he can only dream of that at this point really. “ well i'm really glad to see you again ian. ” he added words lingering as he tried to mask behind them what his heart really wanted to say to the other male how he truly felt about them , how he'd longed to be with them again and be in their embrace like they had in the past he just hoped though there was something between them before it was too late of course.

𖹭 𝅄 . ׁ ˳ he    would    be    a    hypocrite    if    he    claimed    ignorance    about    the    reasons    behind    the    inevitable    end    of    their    relationship    .    he    couldn't    escape    the    awareness    that    everything    had    grown    suffocating    and    overwhelming    between    them    .    the    constant    bickering    and    heated    arguments    had    painted    their    love    in    shades    of    conflict    .    yet    ,    as    much    as    it    no    longer    felt    right    ,    he    found    it    excruciatingly    challenging    to    walk    away    .    everything    connected    to    mingyu    held    an    addictive    allure    that    defied    reason    .    breaking    up    had    become    a    difficult    task    because    he    had    grown    accustomed    to    mingyu's    presence    .    despite    the    fights    ,    mingyu    had    always    been    his    refuge    ,    until    that    one    fateful    day    when    everything    changed    ,    and    as    if    by    some    mystical    force    ,    they    became    strangers    ,    fading    from    each    other's    lives    .     he    had    tried    to    move    on    ,    but    mia    made    it    nearly    impossible    with    her    persistent    inquiries    about    mingyu    .    the    little    girl    seemed    oblivious    to    the    complexity    of    their    split    .    deep    down    ,    he    recognized    that    he    could    never    truly    erase    mingyu    from    his    heart    ,    and    seeing    him    at    the    party    only    confirmed    this    painful    truth    . ian    ,    although    slightly    taken    aback    by    the    unexpected    reunion    ,    finds    himself    drawn    to    his    ex lover    and    steps    closer    .    perhaps    it    was    the    effect    of    the    alcohol    coursing    through    his    veins    that    emboldened    him    ,    or    maybe    it    was    a    surge    of    long buried    emotions    .    he    couldn't    say    for    sure    ,    but    there    he    was    ,    making    his    way    toward    mingyu    ,    the    echo    of    his    heartbeat    filling    his    ears    .    “ hey    , ”    he    utters    ,    his    hand    landing    on    mingyu's    shoulder    as    he    leans    in    to    plant    an    almost    involuntary    kiss    on    his    cheek    .    ian    doesn’t    care    if    he’s    being    imprudent    ,    he’s    never    done    .    the    scent    of    mingyu's    perfume    lingers    in    the    air    as    he    pulls    back    ,    finally    meeting    mingyu's    gaze    . he    hasn’t    changed    much    ,    or    at    least    not    significantly    ,    he    thinks    .    perhaps    his    hair    is    a    bit    longer ?    ian    isn’t    sure    ,    but    mingyu    still    possesses    that    timeless    beauty    that    captivated    him    .    “ i'm    good    . ”    he    replies    ,    his    eyes    never    leaving    mingyu's    face    .    there’s    a    subtle    clenching    of    his    jaw    ,    a    sign    that    beneath    the    veneer    of    civility    ,    emotions    still    simmer    .    “ i    never    thought    i'd    see    you    again    either    .    i    haven't    seen    you    at    any    of    the    other    parties    so . . .    i    thought    you'd    moved    to    another    city    or    something    . ”    he    admits    .    “ how    about    you ? ”    he    asks    ,    his    head    tilted    slightly    to    the    side    .    “ how    . . . how have    you    been ? ”

Minjae smiled and snuggled into him once more just a moment. He had missed him so much as he felt bad for being so busy. “That’s good I will be sure to pamper you quite well then.” He teased him for a bit and brought the food over for both of them to enjoy. “If you could get your schedules cancelled then you could stay over then right? I would really love for that to happen. Sounds good to me.. We could have a little self care day together.”

today couldn’t have gone any better as he’d almost expected for things to be the complete opposite of what it is now. that they’d just outright reject him and maybe even worst comes to worst break up with him which was something that he took into consideration once he’d set foot into their apartment   ,   it was good though that he was saved from that heart break and that they were finally going to mend one another and become what they were in the past HAPPY without a really care in the world expect for themselves he honestly couldn’t wait for what would be instore for them as a couple again as previously stated he’d already ran so many different scenarios in his head before coming over to their place and this one was the best one he could have hoped for and his only goal now was to make sure that this very moment were to last as long as he could push it for especially since he’d already missed the other male so very much and had longed to be in their arms again like this. wrapping his arms around them tightly removing any sort of space between the two of them at this point wanting to remain as close as possible with his boyfriend hoping by the end of their night together that he’d end up smelling like their cologne he could only really smile even more brightly than before as he nodded his head in order to affirm their previous words he always liked being pampered especially after a very long day streaming etc but he was still willing to do the same for minjae if they really wanted to as well  “  yes   !   of course i’d love for that i’ll be calling my manager about it once we’re done eating here   ”  he said letting out a soft chuckle in response he honestly couldn’t wait for this small little pamper day they were going to have tonight  ───  then again as previously mentioned he would look forward to spending any sort of night alone together with his boyfriend no matter what the reason or occasion might be between them he was happy to be around them again and on the mend of going back to the way they used to be especially at the very start of their relationship where they could barely keep their hands to themselves  “  sounds good what exactly did you have in mind we do together then   ?   i could give you a back rub maybe   ?   ” he added teasing them playfully before falling to a pit of laughter before picking some of the food with his chopsticks in order to feed them some.

despite only being together for a couple of months there was no way that he could ever leave them. even if he wanted to which neither one of them did want to in the first place due in fact that through the course that short span of time dating each other they had slowly , but surely gotten obsessed over one another that there was no one in this world that could and would have them no matter what that no matter how toxic or abusive their relationship might have been both past and present they were never in a million years ever leave each other why even would they ? especially knowing that they were all that they needed in this life as they could easily cut off contact with friends and family without a single notice and be with each other. well it was while they were at a party for a mutual friend of theirs that the dark side of their relationship did FINALLY come into light plain for everyone to see as they had made their way through the party greeting the people that they knew as they did with ares only really staying by the sidelines keeping his clear distance from everyone knowing how they were so possessive of each other especially in social situations like this only giving the occasional nod here & there to other people in order not to provoke those jealous tendencies of each others now ! well with that being said though they didn't heed their own advice it seems as from the corner of his eyes he notice them standing and talking to someone a little too close for his liking instantly seeing red as he pushed his way through the crowd before reaching his intended target grabbing them by collar of their shirt roughly baring his fangs “ just what do you think you're doing with what's mine buddy ? ”

“ well i've got all of your attention now so i guessed it all worked out somehow ? ” he said laughing nudging gently on the arm “ c'mon don't get all serious on me now kiha i was just joking of course and i just missed seeing your stupid little face. ”

“Yes, that’s what I’m wondering why you’re here after what happened.” He also remained eye contact with him tilting his head slightly wondering if he was plotting anything. “I think maybe you felt something during our little choreography run through. That’s what it is isn’t it??” He questioned just wanting to make sure he’s on the same page as him. He could tell the other was questioning something but he wasn’t sure what. He wondered if he felt something for him.

now that he was face to face with the other male now that there was no one else that could distract them from focusing on the matter at hand. he doesn’t even know what to say to them because he clearly was just as lost if not even much more lost than they were at this very moment because if he were to truly to say to them what was on their mind right now he was unsure of what they’d say to him let alone how they’d even react since as far as their current relationship was with each other it was very much strained they had practically hated each other and saw each other more as competition than as friends if you could even call them that at this point really. and yeah   !   sure they had been friends or at least they were on friendly terms still when they were in school together especially at the start of knowing each other back then but the more   &   more pressure and dread they both felt or at least that was what he was thinking at that time to succeed and make a name for himself outside of his already well known and well connected family with both of his parents equally pushing him to do more   ,   be something much more bigger than they ever were in this world he freely to distance himself from them and over time saw them as an equal but more of a rival if that even made any sense in anyone else’s mind other than his but with them now graduated and working through their way in this world something inside of him that he had for the longest time had been suppressing for reasons that he himself not say out loud even to himself but then again with that moment that had happened between them had somehow someway sparked something inside of him and just like he was on autopilot he’d rushed over after he had gotten himself changed into their trailer unannounced ready maybe   ?   to confess what he had been feeling for the other male all this time gulping down the thick saliva that was already forming within his throat clearing it before he actually began to speak  “   alright   !   but please don’t say this to anyone else.  ”  he said with pleading eyes already battling with himself that he was about to let loose his darkest secret to them he was just hoping that whatever the outcome that it would all turn out all good at the end taking in a deep breath closing both of his eyes very briefly in order to calm himself down mainly before he spoke up again  “   if i were to be honest YES i did.   ”  he added silently praying that their next words or actions for that matter would not be so harsh on him for feeling this way towards them at this time.

he always knew that it would difficult to getting into letting alone maintain a long distance relationship. but that notion wouldn't have stopped him as what exactly was he going to lose ? maybe have his heart broken if things didn't pan out as he'd hoped but that was beside that point since he did expect that already so after diving into the many different dating apps available out there and meeting a whole bunch of people that didn't really interest him on face value that is that was until he'd chanced upon the profile of jason and after getting to know each other through many months facetiming and phone calls they eventually ended up dating and yes ! of course it had been difficult at time living so very far from them at the time to not be able to hold them in his arms when he wanted to and vice versa but he still held out hope that they'd meet one day. and to his surprise that dream of his was to come true when he had heard from a mutual friend that the other male was to fly into his city for a couple of days that had obviously made him excited to FINALLY be able to see and hold his boyfriend in person , to finally hold him tightly in his arms and that all of those sleepless nights staying up with them over the phone as they had clearly lived under two different time zones were well worth the wait and as the day approached his heart was already beating wildly out of his chest as he dressed and got ready holding their favorite stuffed toy and balloons in hand as he waited for them to land at the airport ─── that was when he spotted them running over to them and tightly wrapping his arms around them smiling widely in the process. “ omg guess who it is babe ? ”

he never thought that he'd ever see him again at least not after their break up haven been very messy with lots of scream and shouting at one another. but it seemed like the universe had another plan for the both of them tonight as up until now he'd been living his life peaceful with his young son and managing his small cafe though it wouldn't be like he completely erased them from his mind especially since they had been together for so very long he really couldn't help himself but think back on their relationship together and yes ! they had their own fair shares of fights here and there on the most mundane of things just like any other couple out there , what made them different though was that no matter how messy things got between them and how many screaming matches they've gotten themselves into in the past they would always get back together again and start loving on each other again with that TOXIC cycle repeating itself over and over again up until the very moment that they could no longer take it anymore and deciding to part ways for the better. at least that was their plan until they had showed up to attend a mutual friend's party and they had locked eyes on one another it had instantly taken them back to when they had first meet and fell madly in love with each other and obviously at first mingyu tried his hardest to deny those feelings inside of himself that there was no way that he'd go back again to his ex ─── for only his own sake but for his son but here he was becoming almost drawn towards the other male like a moth to a flame ready to burn himself again with them walking over to where they had stood clearing his throat before shoving his hands into his pockets “ i never thought that i'd see you again ian how are you ? ” he asked already becoming enraptured with their presence again as his heart had began to beat wildly out of his chest.

he'd always longed for a fresh start in life especially after the day he'd been turned. with having no longer anymore contact with his family being much too afraid to get back into contact with them after what had happened wanting to save them from the monster he had become against his own will and after quite sometime of living in the shadow he'd only now step out and regain back the life he used to live with one way of doing that within his own mind was to finally get a place of his own and start attending classes again and yeah ! sure the current place he was living at was not the very best , but it was still best he could afford at this time in his young life while still attending the nearby college and a working a part time job on the weekends he still obviously wanted to make the best out of an already bad situation for him. and plus it wasn't like any really exciting happened around there anyways which was a good thing for him in this case valuing more than anything his own peace & quiet that was until he heard the loud cluttering of glass right outside when he was studying one day rushing outside to see what had happened only to find a beautiful girl having dropped their things going over to help them. “ oh ! miss are you ok ? do you need any HELP with those boxes ? ” he asked flashing a rather toothy grin at them.
