I love you, I think to myself as I look at your picture for the millionth time. You don't know it, do you? Did you ever really understand how much I meant every 'I love you'?? You always said you loved me more but how could you know that if you didn't understand how much I love you? I don't know, sometimes I hope you didn't get how much I love you, cuz then I could make that the reason you took me for granted. Yet, deep inside I wonder if you knew and understood, but just didn’t care...

"Do you ever dream of land?" The whale asks the tuna.

"No." Says the tuna, "Do you?"

"I have never seen it." Says the whale, "but deep in my body, I remember it."

"Why do you care," says the tuna, "if you will never see it."

"There are bones in my body built to walk through the forests and the mountains." Says the whale.

"They will disappear." Says the tuna, "one day, your body will forget the forests and the mountains."

"Maybe I don't want to forget," Says the whale, "The forests were once my home."

"I have seen the forests." Whispers the salmon, almost to itself.

"Tell me what you have seen," says the whale.

"The forests spawned me." Says the salmon. "They sent me to the ocean to grow. When I am fat with the bounty of the ocean, I will bring it home."

"Why would the forests seek the bounty of the oceans?" Asks the whale. "They have bounty of their own."

"You forget," says the salmon, "That the oceans were once their home."

Who needs love?" We all do. Some of us just weren't ready for the struggle in it.

No smoking is allowed on school grounds. 5. Our football team will win the championship this year. 6. We expect more of you here. 7. Guidance counselors are always available to listen. 8. Your schedule was created with you in mind. 9. Your locker combination is private. 10. These will be the years you look back on fondly. TEN MORE LIES THEY TELL YOU IN HIGH SCHOOL 1. You will use algebra in your adult lives. 2. Driving to school is a privilege that can be taken away. 3. Students must stay on campus during lunch. 4. The new text books will arrive any day now. 5. Colleges care more about you than your SAT scores. 6. We are enforcing the dress code. 7. We will figure out how to turn off the heat soon. 8. Our bus drivers are highly trained professionals. 9. It's 2 am and all I can think about is how much I want you to kiss me with so much correspondence that my lungs forget to breathe.

I want to fall apart and let you understand. You could, I can see it in the compassion and life in your eyes.

At times, theres nothing in my mind but your eyes and your voice. I cannot think around you, I don't even want to, I just want to feel the way I do when you look at me, always.

It hurts, because she has you, and the way she loves you is not enough somehow. I wish she loved you more so I could let go in peace. I wish she loved you less so this story had a villain.
