Kh 2.5 Remix Countdown - Blog Posts

Okay, I decided I should pull myself together and draw something for at least the last day! Because today morning the time has finally come and 2.5 ReMix will be also available here in Europe! Yay!!

You know what I’m looking forward to the most? The new “secret” movie in Re:Coded!! I’m not sure if I should hope for the expectations I got from the bits and pieces I gathered here on Tumblr to be right or not. Because, if they’re wrong, I might be disappointed.

But if they are right, then I will be terrified.

"Sure hope you don't have friends like him." 11 Days.

The look on Lea's face in this scene hurts my physically. It gives me the urge to apology and the despair of knowing I wouldn't be able to do it. I love and hate this scene so much, haha.

"But I promise to be there one day to wake you up." 12 Days.

Okay, imagine how different everything would have been if Aqua hadn't sacrificed herself for Terranort. It's sad that it was an act of deep friendship that paved the way for so many bad things ...

13 Days left. I love the first three hours of KH2, when you're still playing as Roxas. It really smashes my heart, time after time. All those sad things, and all those nice things as well ... The more good things happen, the harder it is to see them taken away from him.

When I played KH2 for the first time, I refused using the skateboard later on as Sora. I missed Roxas so much, I didn't want to let Sora replace him for good. It was just a small act, and it was actually pretty stupid, because I like the skateboard very much and you're so much faster with it, but still.

Zack Fair is my favourite character ever and I am so happy they included him in BBS!! One of my big wishes for KH3 is for him to appear again, it doesn't even have to be anything important, I just want to know that he is fine. (I take the fact that he leaves link portals in DDD as a sign of that, but you know, it would still be nice to have it really confirmed...) Anyway, in the meantime I'll be looking forward to see him again in 2.5 Remix!! = u = (two more weeks!)

Re:Coded is one of my absolute favourite games ever. For me it's probably the funniest game in terms of gameplay and still it's so incredibly sad and heartbreaking. I mean, fighting while there's Riku's or Roxas' Theme playing?! I'm really sad that it's "just" a movie in 2.5 Remix ... u _ u But I am sure I will love it anyway :) And hey, SECRET MOVIE.

Re:Coded is actually the game that made me like Sora. I disliked him very much when I started in on the KH series five years ago – I started with KH2, followed by 358/2 Days, followed by BBS. I had immediately a strong connection to Roxas, but Sora ... For me he was just a bad replacement (somehow ironic), and I could never forgive him for running around killing people so easily. I mean, yes, they are Nobodies, but still ... Only Re:Coded made me realize then that Sora is (still) a really really really cool character, DDD did then do the rest.

And I just love DataRiku.

I'm so looking forward to see the Final Mix cut scenes ingame!! = u = / So much more Saix. So much more emotional Saix, höhö.

(Also, I love the fact that Axel and Saix are sitting across from each other in the Round Room. I can't stop imagining Axel to grin and wave into Saix' direction, especially in the beginning when they first joint the Organization - and if just to cheer him up.)

I love Birth by Sleep just so incredibly much <3 And this was probably the most awesome finale I have ever seen in any game. I played the end so often that I soon knew all the lines by heart – and I had a great time annoying everyone who had just a remote idea of what Kingdom Hearts is with my immitation of Master Xehanort. Ah yes, good old times. xDDD

This is one of the things I'm looking forward the most? OH YES. Roll, VenVen, roll.

Because this is one of my favourite cutscenes. It features: - Naminé. - Naminé blurring. - Saix. - Riku. - Riku's theme. - Saix' superawesome dodging backflip. - Saix being pinned to a wall. - Saix grinning. - Kairi defying Saix basically the same way she defyed Axel and I like every parallel between those two. - Kairi being actually cool. - the image of Saix rolling over the floor laughing his ass off. It's just so wrong.

I decided to do my personal countdown for the european release of KH 2.5 Remix! (because we have to wait three days longer than North America.)

It will be the 20 things I am looking forward the most, in no specific order. At first I had no idea what I should do for twenty days, but when I was staring to write a list about my favourite moments, i got to 50. x'DDSome days I will probably just write about it, but when I've got the time I will try to draw something. :)

Today's motif is actually pretty easy to explain: I'm really looking forward to BBS. It's the only one of my favourite games that will be playable in the Remixes. (the other two are DDD and Re:coded) BBS was what actually got me into the series. I did play and I did like KH before, but it was nothing really special to me – until BBS happened. I mean, a game that starts with such a quote is predestined to become one of my favourites, haha. Also, I was looking for a way to play it with my siblings, well, this one is perfect!
