I need more fics where the villains see how much heroes are suffering and they're like "I wanted to see you hurt. I wanted to defeat you. I wanted you to surrender to me- but this- this is not what I wanted. I did not want to see you shattered"
And after that they're like "Nonononono why do you do this to me? Why are you making me feel emotions? Why are you making me feel compassion for you? I'm not supposed to have mercy on you"

"We have to stop them," Aja breathed, her voice riddled with fear. "They're going to kill eachother."
"J-Jim!" Toby yelled, gripping Warhammer so tightly his knuckles turned white. "Jim stop!" He finally managed to move his legs and started sprinting down the hill towards them just as Douxie was thrown halfway across the field.
Jim had lost his sword, Excalibur embedded in the dirt a few yards away. He caught Douxie by the wrist as the wizard came at him with another spell and flipped him over his shoulder. He pressed his knee to Douxie’s chest, holding his wrist at a certain angle, kneeling on his other arm so he couldn't move. He had one of his glaives at Douxie’s throat.
"Jim!" Toby screamed. He was still running. "Jim stop, you're gonna kill him!"
But it was like Jim hadn't even heard him.
"You and I both know," Jim said lowly, breathing hard. "That you can't beat me. Why are you trying so hard to save her?"
Douxie glared at him, blood spilling down from the gash in his forehead, and from the corner of his mouth. "It's not about her, Jim." His eyes held a glassy look, and Jim realized with a punch of guilt to his gut that he probably gave Douxie a concussion. "It's about you."
"What- OOF!"
Toby tackled Jim off of Douxie and onto the ground, holding his best friend down by the shoulders. The others weren't far behind.
"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Claire demanded, helping Douxie sit up.
"What the fuck, Jim!" Toby screeched. "You could've killed him!"

Alright so I never really understood why Jim and Claire centered around Romeo and Juliet so much other than because of the play, right?
Then last night I realized that since Jim is the Trollhunter, he wields daylight; Claire uses shadow magic, utilizing the darkness around her (as seen in the finale of Wizards).
They are light and dark-- quite literally on opposing sides, but yet they love each other. 🧍♀️

[additional context about the iron deficiency thing: it can create cravings for non-(human)food items such as ice, dirt, or metal. it's fairly common, especially in women. I assume it's affected me because sometimes metal tastes really good and i wish i could eat it 😅 anyway Jim is so relatable fr fr]

Arcadiatober 5-6
After things settle in Arcadia, Blinky thought it a good idea to research into the very positions that granted him the human experience. With some help from certain wizards, he managed to recreate the effect lasting twenty for hours given, Trolls day out!
Day- blinky and Aaarrrgghh go about Arcadia, Blinky delights in the local Arcadia news, Aaarrrgghhs just there for the ride as Blinky shows him the wonders of humanity. Cuisine, Sunlight… automobiles. Toby snuck in a nugget Nummy for support for Aaarrrgghhs first day in the sun. ☀️ 
Night- Jim takes the opportunity to takes Draal to his first base ball game and show him the ropes. Just as Draal did with Jim’s Sword.
