“Why should a French or a German citizen be born with access to world-class services and well-protected rights (actual implementation on the basis of minority status may differ), while a Somalian citizen is not only denied those things, but also faces huge obstacles in becoming a citizen (or even a resident) of anywhere else? If you are born a citizen of Japan, there are 190 countries you can travel to freely without a visa; if you are a citizen of Afghanistan, there are only 25. If you are born a U.K. citizen, and feel like a change of scene, you can pay $7 for permission to go to Canada, hop on a flight, and stay for up to six months without anyone bothering you. If you are born in a refugee camp, it can take years before you even get a chance to live in a place like Canada. So how can we possibly consider ourselves to be people who care about freedom and autonomy, when thanks to borders our destinies are practically assigned to us at birth? Is it absurd to form your own state? Or is it more absurd to have states in the first place?”

I can't post this photo legally without permission but please...please......look at this precious jumping spider. I'm going to weep about it for three full days https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/37473927
It may seem strange how many "progressives" are angered by the pretty obvious and milquetoast assertion that "Bigotry is a problem of broader society that manifests on many websites in many ways". But if you concede that 4chan isn't this unique font of absolute evil, a certain sort of tumblr user would lose one of their favourite pejoratives for trans women. Like the whole "4chan basement loser" thing already fits into their idea of trans women (at least the ones they don't wanna fuck) as "pathetic fail men". And by acting like mere association with 4chan (real or imagined) politically taints you in a way that say facebook or tumblr doesn't, you don't even have to feel guilty because those weird trannies are obviously bad people who love bigotry no further explanation needed. Sure there's no shortage of ways you can justify harassing trans women but a lot that requires more work; you need to spend like 5 seconds looking up what she actually said or did. Throwing out "they're a channer" (while yourself being a tumblr user) is just too convenient to give up
Ive so many people tell me im a rapist for being a lesbian Ive been called a predator and a danger to both gay men and lesbians I have been called a pedo and an abuser for my kinks and fetishes Ive been told to kill myself because of my kinks and my identity all of these done by people who knew that I am not a trans woman not one of these people thought I was amab but yeah you're right those tme people don't understand what its like to be called out and ostracized and verbally abused for no reason they have no idea what that's like to be demonized for being trans they have no idea what its like to have people abuse them for having kinks other people don't like Youre so right the tmes can just do whatever they want no one is ever mean to them about sex and their sexual preferences you're so right
Idk but the idea that trans men commonly enter terf spaces on purpose & then get detransed & indoctrinated into terfism seems way less believable to me than that spaces for cis people will inevitably have some ppl realize they're trans & if the space in question is a radical feminist one, they will be targeted with some absolutely devastatingly horrific abuse that will keep them in the closet & cause them serious harm, & radical feminism like any hateful ideology is very attractive to wounded, traumatized people.
Examples of why saying “trans men are men” can be a dog whistle and why positing that testosterone is the “bad hormone” directly harms trans men.
It's like some people think intersectionality is a math problem?
Trans + man = cancels out so no oppression
Trans + woman = double oppression
And that's just? Not how real life works? Like you can't come to a conclusion via logic math problem and then insist it's reality because it makes sense inside the theory you've crafted.
You have to check it actually aligns with what is happening out in the world - Which is trans men sharing all the ways systemic and institutional transphobia targets us and affects us.
You can't just tell us to shut up because you like your theory better and you're upset our lived experience messes it up.
You can't tell us we don't experience what we live every day?
no one cares what a cuntb*y who believes in transandrophobia/misandry has to say unless it's in a s****** note
you kazoo voiced rats have said enough don't you think?
stool kick yourself
babes you are proving my point.
everyone point and laugh at the transphobe
Post too much sad shit I should go on an aesthetic spree
btw assuming that every single "cishet looking man" you meet is a cishet man and can't possibly ever be transfeminine will never help anyone, ever. assuming that "cishet looking men" are men because they don't show any hint of femininity is participating in transfem erasure. to all the transfems who can't present femme, are scared to come out, boymode most or all of the time, can't afford to replace their wardrobe, like how they currently dress and/or "look like a cishet man," you do not deserve this instant invalidation of who you are.
assuming a stranger's identity is never the way to go. i don't care if you're "scared" of "cishet looking men," but you literally can't tell based off of how someone is dressed. it's exceptionally hard and dangerous to be out as a transfem person in public. you have to accept that a lot of transfems are stealth and boymoding and passing as "perfectly straight looking men" for safety and comfort reasons. it's not an attack on you- it's for their safety. stop assuming how people identify based off of how they present and act in public. you don't know who they are. you have no right to be "scared"
whatever i don't wanna post to main for whatever reason. expect lots of aesthetic posts and heavy/controversial topics ig.
