A/N: Hello everyone! Welcome to my new long multichapter fic! This one is a modern au where Shin and Sabine meet at a resort in the Alps. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole thing the link will be at the end!
The snow crunched under Shin’s snowboard as she paused in her descent. She felt a pinprick ache in her left knee. That wouldn’t do. Looking down at the slope, it swooped at a steep angle before easing to a cool forty-five degree angle some fifty meters below. Not by far the most complicated slope she had descended. It was the stabbing inside her knee that worried her.
“Why did you stop?” she heard Baylan’s voice ask in her helmet.
She couldn’t see him, but she knew he was observing her from the bottom of the ski slope. She rolled her eyes.
“I’m not allowed to take my time?”
“If you’re in pain, we…”
She cut him off.
“I’m fine”
As if to prove him that nothing was wrong, she put pressure on her left foot and sent her board sliding against the snow once more. She zigzagged down the slope at a casual pace. After a few twists and turns, it was easy to ignore the pain in her knee, even as it seemed to spread to her hip. She convinced herself that she was imagining it.
She avoided a few skiers then followed the bend of the slope around the mountain side. Fir and pine trees obscured the view on either side. Whatever little snow had fallen on them during the night was already melting as the sun shone high into the bright blue sky. Shin took a deep breath. She loved the smell of evergreens and snow. It was always the same, no matter where she was snowboarding, and it always reminded her of home.
The slope snaked out of the trees and on the edge of the mountain side. From there, Shin could see the resort nestled at the foot of the mountain. She could see the slopestyle training field, and the tiny snowboarders rushing down and hopping off the ramps. As much as she wanted more than anything to go train down there, Baylan wanted to take it slow. It wasn’t like she had a competition in a month or something.
The slope cut through the woods once more and Shin lost sight of the resort. The angle changed again and she gained speed. She deftly zigzagged between skiers and other snowboarders. After taking a steep turn, she reached the bottom of the slope, a few feet away from the chair lift leading back to the resort. She leaned back to slow her arrival. As soon as her board stopped, she leaned to unclip the strap on her feet. Baylan jogged up to her, a pair of binoculars around his neck and his phone in his hand.
“So, how did it go?” he asked.
Shin shrugged.
“It was fine. I don’t see why you worried.”
Pain burned out of her knee, but that was beside the point.
So maybe I’m reading too much into this, and maybe it’s just one big coincidence, but Zoe’s last name is Benson, which means exactly what it means, “son of ben”. Now, Taissa Farmiga previous character on AHS was Violet, and Violet’s father was named Ben.
So is it a joke that they picked Benson as Zoe’s last name, or reference to Murder House? Am I reading too much into this and it’s probably just a coincidence? Am I late to the party and everyone had already figured it out back in 2013? Probably all of the above...
A/N: Hello everyone! My brain has been filled with nothing but Wolfwren for weeks and because I couldn't wait I decided to write my own season 2 of Ahsoka! Here is an extract from the first chapter and the link to the full chapter will be at the end! Enjoy!
Sabine expected to feel more of a pounding in her head when she woke up. After all, someone had snuck up behind her and knocked her out. Maybe she’d grown used to being hit in the head. Huyang certainly seemed to take pleasure in doing so during her training sessions. Perhaps she ought to thank him for it now that she woke up with barely a dull pulse at the back of her head. She quickly assessed her surroundings.
Daylight passed through the walls of the tent; the leather too thin to block it out. She was tied to the central pole of the tent, so that if she pulled too hard on the bindings, she might collapse the whole structure. She was unarmed. Her lightsaber and blasters had been taken. However, she remained in armor, which was always an advantage. No one had been stationed in the tent to keep an eye on her. She might as well make the most of it, she thought as she pulled on her bindings. The wooden poll tremble with every harsh tug.
The Ravagers had rushed the Noti camp on the back of their howlers. In the middle of the night, Sabine had only had a moment to understand what was happening. She’d jumped out of the T-6 and rushed after her master. All the campfires had been extinguished, either by time or by their attackers. She spotted Ahsoka’s white light on the right side and figured she would cover their left flank. Somehow in the chaos of metal blades glimmering in the night and blaster shots, she had been knocked out and captured.
She doubted Ahsoka had also suffered the same fate. Hopefully her master would track her down. She wasn’t confident in her ability to navigate the wilderness yet. She tugged on the leather straps and the whole tent rattled. A few more hard pulls and she would be free, she figured.
The flap of the tent was thrown open, allowing harsh midday light within and blinding Sabine for a second. Someone entered and she stilled her tugging. The footsteps were angry. They crushed the earth as if trying to show just how superior to it they were. When Sabine had blinked the light out of her eyes, she looked up only to find herself confronted by a familiar wrathful face.
Shin’s platinum blond hair had grown an inch since they’d been stranded on the planet, revealing more of those dark roots at the top of her head. Sabine almost offered her pair of scissors but thought better of the jab when she saw her eyes. They were full of fury and sorrow in equal part, darkness and misery and tiredness and agony. Sabine was stricken by such grief when she saw her that she couldn’t speak.
“You failed,” Shin said. “Thrawn escaped.”
The accusation was just what Sabine needed to get her thoughts back in order.
“I also sent Ezra home. I accomplished what I set out to do. What did you accomplish?”
Shin glared at her. It was intense, but Sabine could take it.
“Why are you still here?”
Sabine frowned.
“I don’t know. Maybe because we’re just as stuck as you are?”
Shin shook her head.
“I don’t believe that. You must be here for another reason.”
“And the reason is that we are stuck.”

A/N: Hello everyone! Here is my new multi-chapter fic! It is finally here! It is a Time Travel AU where Shin goes back in time to the start of season 1. Here is the begining and if you want to read the whole first chapter the link will be at the end!
“The spell is still active…”
“It has to be me…”
“See you on the other side, Wolf girl.”
Shin came to in an elevator. The sound of the levels counted up above her. She knew those pristine walls and little buttons. Looking down at her, she was in her old armor, the leather gloves hard against her hands. She could feel the hood of her cape above her head. Her lightsaber was in her hand. She took a deep breath and glanced up at the floor indicator. She was almost at the bridge.
The plan was seared into her mind, but she’d hoped the spell would have brought her back later, when it would have been easier to access Sabine. Right now, she would have to improvise. She clenched the lightsaber in her hand. Her only idea was dangerous, but if Sabine had taught her anything, good plans usually were.
The elevator opened. Three officers fired at her. Sabine turned on her lightsaber and deflected the shots. They seared the ground in front of her. With one hand, she pulled the weapons out of the officers’ hands. They held their breath, waiting to see what her next move would be. Shin turned off her lightsaber and slowly raised her hands above her head. The officers looked at her with deep frowns.
“My name is Shin Hati. I was sent up here by my master to make sure you couldn’t send a distress call to Home One. Do it.”
The lieutenant left in charge of the captain’s chair hesitated. Then, she grabbed her blaster and aimed it at Shin.
“What kind of trap is this?”
“Not a trap. Only the Fate of the Galaxy is at stake. Send the distress call. When they arrive, I want to speak with General Syndulla.”

A/N: Hello everyone! I'm back with a new canon divergence Star Wars story. This one is set in the first half of season 4 of Rebels. Today I have the prologue for you, but if you want to read more, the link will be at the end and the first chapter will be up on Saturday! Enjoy!
The ash was so thick it clogged Morgan’s eyes, coated her tongue and settled in her lungs. There was nothing left but the dead bodies of her sisters, left to rot on the mountainside. The little homes, dug into the orange stone, had all been ransacked. The elevators had been destroyed and Morgan had to climb the harsh cliff by hand. When she reached the top, Dathomir’s bright red sun was only a flicker choked in the smoke that still filled the air.
Despair was like a claw, buried deep in Morgan’s throat, tearing the breath out of her with each step she took through her village. She brushed back tears. Her search grew frantic as she upturned broken doors and cleared shattered jars, to find lifeless bodies, again and again. She couldn’t be the only one, she told herself. It was impossible. Someone else must have survived this massacre. She had to believe that someone else had, or she would crumble.
A muted whine snapped her out of her frenzy. It had come from one of the houses on the other side of the village. She rushed to it, jumping over a broken fence in her haste. When she stopped in front of the house, a torn curtain hung in her way. Morgan was breathing fast, not just from her sprint but also from anticipation. She stood by the curtain a moment and focused her hearing as she tried to confirm that the sound had come from inside. She heard nothing. She swallowed her bitterness, refusing to believe she had imagined it.
She brushed the curtain aside. Within, the house was as much a mess as any other. The table had been flipped to the side. Singed blaster marks burned the walls. It was quite dark, as every torch and even the oven had long since been snuffed out. Morgan conjured a green flame in her palm to bring some light into the small house.
“Is anyone here?” she called.
Movement to her left caught her attention. When her light illuminated the corner, she saw another girl, just a few years younger than her. Her pale face was stricken with tears. She curled up on herself at first, quite frightened, but as soon as she saw Morgan, saw her red clothes and the tattoo on her forehead, the teenager threw herself in her arms.
Morgan was stunned, at first, but after a second, she snuffed out the fire in her hand to return the embrace. She felt the girl sobbing against her shoulder. She wanted to cry too, but she had to be strong. She swallowed her tears and held the girl while she cried. Immense relief fell on Morgan like a meteor. Someone else had survived. Someone else had been spared.

I just realized that it would be so easy to make a Ocean's 8/Warrior Nun fic with Ava, Beatrice, Camila, Lilith, Mary, Yasmine, Mother Superion, and Shannon trying to steal the crown of thorns. Has someone done it before? Am I the one who's gonna have to do it?
pssst do it. write the oceans 8 au.
Honestly I posted that idea on a whim while rewatching Ocean's 8 and I did not expect to see so many people showing interest in that AU. But the people have spoken! Now I have no other choice but to consider it. I think I will queue it up after what I'm currently working on. I'd say don't expect it until April at the earliest.
Silva's 8 and the heist to steal Adriel's crown of thorns is gonna cook in my mind for a month and we'll see what I can do with it!
A/N: You’ve waited and here it is! I promised a year ago I would include Lexa into season 8, and after much anguish and work I did it! The first chapter is up for your enjoyment! Here’s an extract and you can find the link to the full chapter after!
Lexa remembered the first time she ever saw snow. They were almost at White Harbor, from which they would continue to Winterfell on horseback. She was seating on the deck of the ship, a book in her hands, trying to distract herself from the boring journey. Suddenly, something fell on her hand. She hadn't noticed it at first. The cold air had taken over the entire ship almost as soon as they had left Dragonstone, and Lexa had been wearing furs and gloves without fail every single hour of the day. She was so wrapped up in her furs that she could have been mistaken for a small chubby wolf easily.
Something fell on her hand again, and then on her book, and then on her head. She frowned and looked up. Tiny white snowflakes were falling over them, plummeting from the sky with feather-like grace. Lexa gasped and her eyes grew wide.
“Is it snowing?” she asked, to no one in particular.
Since no one answered her, she closed her book and pushed herself up. Snowflakes continued to fall on her. She put her hands together like a cup and tried to catch as many snowflakes as she could. Unfortunately, they were all falling slowly, and almost as soon as they touched her hand they melted. She barely had any time to look at them closely before they'd disappeared forever.
She walked back and forth on the ship's upper deck, her hands reached out to grab snow, for almost ten minutes. Sometimes she would try to reach overboard, thinking there would be more snow falling into the sea, but it was mostly in vain. The sailors watched her do with amusement, which Lexa didn't seem to notice.
“Lexa?”
Lexa stopped dead in her tracks and looked over at the corridor which led further down into the ship. Her mother was standing there, hidden from the snow, Jon by her side.
“What are you doing?”
“It's snowing, mother, look!”
Lexa ran up to her mother, her hands still cupped together. By the time she reached Daenerys, however, all the snow in her hands had melted again. Her mother, however, had no difficulty seeing the snow, as many white flakes had tangled themselves in Lexa's dark brown hair.
“It is,” Daenerys replied, agreeing with her daughter.
"Don't get too excited," Jon added, "There's snow everywhere at this time of year."
Still, Lexa ignored Jon's comment and started running again around the ship, trying to collect snowflakes, until the air had grown so cold and bitter that she could barely feel her face. Then, Anya took it upon herself to drag the six-year-old back to her room and sit her down under a pile of blankets, where she left her until it was time for supper.

A/N: Hello everyone! On this very special day, my birthday, I'm starting my new multichapter story! It's just the movie Holidate with Wolfwren (and a few twists). Here is the beginning of the first chapter, and if you want to read the whole story the link will be at the end!
As soon as Sabine came downstairs, she felt a dozen looks of pity on her. She ignored them as best as she could, which was difficult when she hadn’t had her coffee yet. It was almost lunch time anyway, and most everyone was gathered in the kitchen. She had to slither between Zeb and his very broad frame and the kitchen isle where Hera was making yet another batch of gingerbread cookies. The smell of them was almost enough to turn Sabine’s stomach. Usually, she would have been excited for more of Hera’s famous Christmas cookies, but nothing felt like Christmas today.
This was supposed to be her Christmas. After six years of dating Ketsu, Sabine had long since thought that this was it. She didn’t care whether they got married or not, only that Ketsu was definitely the love of her life. Then, she’d found an engagement ring very poorly hidden – Ketsu had always been terrible had hiding stuff – in one of her drawers. And of course, Sabine had been excited, and she’d told everyone about her find in the family chat. It had been a huge mistake. Turned out, Ketsu had been good at hiding some things after all. Right before December, she had packed everything out of their apartment and left Sabine.
The coffee machine was in no hurry to fill her mug, forcing Sabine to linger in the kitchen, foot tapping impatiently. She knew everyone was staring at her back, but she refused to acknowledge them. Just because they wanted to pity her didn’t mean that she had to pity herself. She didn’t. Good fucking riddance was her opinion. She’d never had more space in the apartment. And it wasn’t like she was alone on Christmas. She had them. Her family.
Piping hot mug of coffee in hand, she left the kitchen without a word and entered the living room. There, she found Ezra and Jacen on the carpet, working on a pretty big Lego set.
“You’ve opened your presents already?” she said, astound.
Usually, Sabine was always there to snap a hundred pictures of the little boy opening his presents.
“Mom said it was fine,” Jacen replied. “I didn’t want to wait until you were awake.”
“Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“We figured you needed the rest,” Ezra replied, like Sabine needed his opinion, or some rest, or whatever they all seem to think that she needed, which she didn’t.
“I’m fine. I just want to enjoy a Christmas with my family. Is it too much to ask?”
A/N:Hey guys! Here’s an extract from my new foxxay story, a No magic post-apocalyptic story. Summary: While running away from a group of raiders, Misty finds a little corner of paradise, seemingly sheltered from the end of the world. This mansion once belonged to Cordelia, but now she has opened it to welcome any girl in need of a place to stay. However, surviving the bombs was only the beginning, and now that the world is in chaos, the real survival begins... (link to the full story will be at the end)
Madison's jaw visibly clenched. She turned back to Misty.
"Come on."
She led Misty inside through the kitchen door. There, a few girls were finishing up with the dishes, drying them and placing them neatly back in the cupboard. A small group of ten-year-olds was playing Monopoly in the living room. Another group of teenagers was seating around the table, playing Risk. Madison walked through the corridors like she owned the place. The clicks of her heels on the white parquet floor echoed in the entire building.
Misty looked around her with surprise. The walls were very white, almost too white for this new, upside-down world she'd been traversing in the past few weeks. The furniture was clean. There were many books on the shelves, and paintings still hung on the walls. It was as if time had completely stopped just minutes before the bombs fell.
They emerged out of the hallway and into the main entrance, where a massive, double staircase climbed up to the floors above. However, Madison didn't go up, but to the right of the stairs instead. There, she knocked on a closed door. Misty caught up just in time to see Madison opening the door. She passed her head through, but not enough to allow Misty to see inside the room.
"I see you forgot your walkie-talkie again," the voice of a woman said on the other side of the door.
"Whatever," Madison replied. "Queenie's not even monitoring the cameras, and I would have had to return here anyway. They were running after a girl."
"Of course they were. Let her in."
Madison stepped away and looked back at Misty.
"Go on in, hippie."
Misty nodded, and with a slightly trembling hand, she pushed the door open.

A/N: Hey guys! Here’s an extract from my new Ruby/Christina one-shot, set in 1954 in Hollywood! If you’re interested, the link to the full story is at the end!
Ruby wouldn't say that she hated her job. It was a job, after all, it paid the bills, and she'd fought very hard to get it. But doing the hair and make-up of actresses all day long wasn't why she'd moved to LA for. She didn't complain, on the principle that they could fire her without a second thought if they heard her, but it didn't make her any happier, and every passing day brought more regrets than the day before, to the point of nausea.
That day, they were auditioning actresses for a big shot director's next big movie. Ruby was waiting for the next when she overheard a conversation between the director and his producer. Apparently, he already had his pick for the role, but Mr. Warner had insisted they hold auditions anyway because the actress was too old for the role. Ruby pretended she hadn't heard anything, and suppressed an eye roll. This entire audition process and the day was a waste of everyone's time and money.
The next actress stepped into the studio wearing a simple old-fashioned dress which looked like it didn't belong on the young woman at all. She had beautiful blonde hair, long, and piercing blue eyes. She sat in the chair in front of the mirror beside Ruby. Her eyes were transfixed on Ruby, paying close attention to what she was doing. Ruby brushed her hair per the instructions she'd been given. It was the role of a young woman in a small town before the First World War. She tried to get rid of the bounce at the end of the woman's locks, but they refused to relent as if the woman's natural glamour just wouldn't dissipate.
As she worked, she felt the woman's eyes still on her. She stared with something in her eyes Ruby couldn't quite understand. Once Ruby had done her hair, she picked up the makeup pencil. Before she got to work, however, the woman asked quietly:
"Could you say light on the makeup? I'm already on a disadvantage enough as it is..."
Ruby looked at the woman's reflection. She was the most gorgeous woman who'd come to audition this afternoon, that was for sure. Ruby almost wanted to tell her not to waste her time with it, that it was already decided, but instead, she nodded.
"Yes, ma'am."
She passed foundation over her face quickly. The girl's sky blue eyes finally shut, and Ruby felt she could breathe better. Once she was done, she shut the makeup palette. The girl's eyes opened and she inspected herself in the mirror but a second, before her eyes settled on Ruby's reflection.
"This is probably as good as it's going to get," the blonde said. "Thank you."
She stood up, the heavy wooden chair grinding against the concrete ground. She walked away with a sway in her step, even though she wasn't wearing high heels. She went to introduce herself to the director and the producers. It was only when she saw her from afar that Ruby thought she recognized the woman. She'd debuted the year before in a vampire movie, where she'd played the titular vampire. Leti had recommended it to her, but then again Leti had strange tastes in horror movies. It wasn't that Ruby hadn't liked the movie. But it had been quite uncomfortable to watch the whole room cheering for the death of the vampire at the hand of the hero.
