I have been meaning to make myself an account for ages, but now staff has forced my hand with the stupid pop-ups for anyone not logged in.
I actually have hidden a Slenderman mini on every map of my virtual tabletop I’m planning to use for my next campaign. The plan is to wait until the players notice, and then act like I didn’t put it there.
Put the Slender Man in your campaign.
Look, I know, he's old news, but have a heart! He last got work like ten years ago, and he just needs one solid gig to get him back on his feet. He can still do the static thing, you know! Remember that? That was so cool in 2009! Everyone loved the static thing, right?
He doesn't have to be the Big Bad or anything, he'll settle for being a mook or random encounter. He spends all his time rewatching Marble Hornets and crying these days, just give him a cameo or something. One last hurrah for the guy who used to be the Big Name of internet horror. What do you say?
Hey, do any of you people remember that one tf2 comic where soldier is talking to a bunch of wooden cutouts thinking they’re real people? You know how it was supposed to be a joke about how insane Soldier is, unable to differentiate the inanimate from the alive? Am I the only one who lost my mind about the implications of that or am I going just as insane as him.
You can see how lazy I got near the end but I couldn’t be bothered to work on this anymore

(about this guy)
a kiln god is a small clay sculptural creature that stays on/in/near a kiln while it’s firing, to watch over the pottery inside and protect it
mine are all vaguely humanoid and holding pottery, but they can be anything
a lot of people leave their kiln gods unglazed, and only ever make one or two. because I work with a shared kiln, my kiln gods have to be inside the kiln so they don’t get bumped or broken, so it makes more sense to glaze them and keep making more
(^this one I kept, she lives on my pottery desk)
people have lots of little traditions around kilns and pottery. there are so many variables to successfully finishing a piece of pottery, and many of the steps are out of our control. it’s nice to have a kiln god watching over our work
if you take a pottery class, your teacher might mention the kiln gods. for some potters/studios they’re more of a concept than anything physical
what can I say, humans just love to make little guys
Mmmmmm
reblog to take a bite out of this styrofoam cup nobody can stop you go ahead and do it
Sorry the next Subcon lindworm stuff is taking so long, my keyboard is messed up and can no longer type quotation marks and also sometimes the letters h b g j I u y. As ou can understand, this makes typing up anything kinda hard when your buttons sometimes just decide not to function. I’m working on it though.
