So… I was going to link a series of quick interviews that included Ben Milsom (the Production Designers of TAG!) letting spill and confirm a spoiler we’ve heard rumours of for S2… WELL. Switched which video I was main posting, cause I struck some hidden gold.

This video tour of the Amazon tent… Bless Ben Milsom, because when they were speaking to HIM about Season 1 and Season 2… he thinks of them as they actually are, not Amazon’s split seasons. (Someone must have not told him that. lmao) SO. He has spilled some beans.

Season 2 is done filming, he says, and should start up “October… September-October” (Which is an improvement over last year’s October-November, I suppose.) And then noting Amazon would probably get them next year some time.

Hopefully soon ThunderbirdsHQ will spill a more specific date, but there we go! Truthfully, its about as suspected, given we heard ‘4th quarter’ for TAG!’s return and October-December is 4th quarter of a year, so.

Petition to have Tumblr actually do something about porn blog bots following users.

• It’s annoying. • It gives an imperfect metric for how many followers you have. (I would estimate about 25% of my “followers” are porn blogs run by bots). • It makes pulling up your activity page iffy even if you use Tumblr strictly for SFW content. • It’s problematic for individuals who have struggled with sex and/or pornography addictions, especially since many of the blog names are not obviously porn names, causing you to preview the blog. • It exposes minors to illegal and harmful content.

And to many of us: • It’s disgusting. • it’s degrading to human beings, especially women. • It makes Tumblr a less classy, less reputable place.

Please share this if you agree this is a serious problem.

Obviously it’s going to be more of a long-distance relationship. While you’re very much in love, monitoring the world for distress calls ultimately is more important, and you accept that!

You met during a rescue operation. He was gathering intel from you for a rescue, keeping in contact with you to keep the other brothers updated on the status of the people in distress. To be honest, he found you pretty cute, but brushed it off as a brief crush.

He couldn’t get you off his mind after the rescue, and was super duper confused about this, he’s had the odd crush before, but nothing like this.

He got back into touch with you under the guise of a “routine check up” on how everyone was doing, and you grew closer through idle chats after establishing how everyone is.

He likes to take things slow, and it wasn’t until after a few (very far apart) dates that he asked you to move to Tracy Island with him - despite his constant absence, but he wanted to feel closer to you, and know that you were there waiting for him during his visits.

When he’s home, you’ll share a bed, although he’s a bit dubious about it at first after being so used to having his own space, but he learns to like it in the end, finding your sleeping face with the stars in the background a rather serene image.

When he’s not home, he’ll holo-call you regularly to check up on how you’re doing. It’s in these moments that you remind him to take care of himself, with eating, sleeping, etc. 

The other brothers don’t comment on your relationship, sure they were confused at first because of John introverted nature, but they soon grew to become fond of you themselves, finding happiness in the fact that John has found someone who makes him feel true happiness.

Naturally, when he’s home, the two of you will regularly stargaze together. You pick out the biggest, brightest star as your star, and the two of you will always try to locate it at the beginning of each stargazing session.

There’s very little PDA, if any. Sure you want to hug him so so bad when he comes home, but that has to wait until you’re behind closed doors.

Not all disabilities can be shown by a physical representation. I should know, because I have non-physical disabilities. If you have a non-physical disability, you should know about them.

George can be counted as having a disability cause he lost his ear, and Charlie with all the burns he has from his job working with Dragons, but we can count the non-physical ones as well.

Tonks had depression in Half-Blood Prince and Winky had it as well (and she could be classed as an alcoholic), Harry got paranoid and had panic attacks, Hermione was self-conscious about how she looked, and Neville was bullied along with Luna.

And if Neville’s parents (Frank and Alice) are, as you put it, ‘tragedy porn’, shouldn’t the same be classed for James and Lily?

The fandom call him Mad-Eye cause that’s what everybody calls him. Tonks and Molly both said it to his face in Order of the Phoenix, and he didn’t complain about it.

Lupin was killed to reinforce the fact about a child having no parents, and Moody was killed trying to protect Harry. They didn’t die in vain, or just because JKR wanted to kill them because they had a disability; they died to defeat evil.

And if you think you could write about disabilities better, you do it.

I know that this is just your opinion, but like I said, not all disabilities can be seen.

You know what I just realized?

J.K. Rowling only ever gave us two half-assed attempts at disability representation. Remus and Alastor. And I know that these are her two half-assed attempts at disability representation because she specifically brought them up in her article about her disability ‘representation’. The same article wherein she said that all Muggle disabilities would be corrected. (And the salt just keeps coming.)

So she fully admits that she gave us two characters in the entire series that were supposed to represent disabilities.

And they were weak representations.

But it doesn’t matter.
