Blue Tears and the Milky Way : Lapping at rocks along the shore of the Island of Nangan, Taiwan, planet Earth, waves are infused with a subtle blue light in this sea and night skyscape. Composed of a series of long exposures made on April 16 the image captures the faint glow from Noctiluca scintillans. Also known as sea sparkles or blue tears, the marine planktons bioluminescence is stimulated by wave motion. City lights along the coast of mainland China shine beneath low clouds in the west but stars and the faint Milky Way still fill the night above. Over the horizon the galaxys central bulge and dark rifts seem to echo the rocks and luminous waves. via NASA

Christian Voice, do your FUCKING research before you you tweet something so FUCKING stupid and hurtful.

I did some of my own research, and Great Britain hadn't won a Gold medal in diving before Rio 2016, and that was won by Jack Laugher and Chris Mears in the 3m Springboard.

Since 1904, when Britain first competed in diving, we have won 8 medals (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 Bronze), and had a total of 24 divers compete. 4 of the 8 medals have been won since London 2012.

As somebody of the LGBT community (even though people might not consider Asexual people as being part of that community), I find it offensive that you blame being Gay on his recent bad day. It was unfortunate when he had the bad day, but being Gay had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

And he was not "seduced by an older man". He found Lance when he was thinking about giving up diving. They needed each other, because Tom had just lost his dad, and Lance had just lost his brother and his mum was ill.

Hi John. Obviously you interact with people all around the world who speak many different languages, so what is your favorite language to speak or a language you'd like to learn? I just passed my Introduction to BSL. And just to say, you're my favorite Thunderbird. :)

“I primarily speak the ten most common languages in the world, those being; Mandarin, Spanish, English, Bengali, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, German, and Chinese. I also know French, and a little bit of Javanese, Korean and Vietnamese.” John says, “There are some very interesting Chinese and Indian dialects I’ve been picking up off a few friends, but you name it and I’m keen to learn it. I find languages like Japanese are particularly enjoyable because of their phonology; I mean, each word ending with a vowel sound makes them a real joy to speak.”

“I can usually get by for rescues between my own knowledge and Five’s translations matrix, which is usually roughly accurate. Though my BSL is sadly lacking and Penelope is trying to teach me in her spare time,” He adds, “but my ASL is up to scratch.”
