Your fic is looking great so far. But now I can just imagine Nora catching Neo and Jaune sneaking back one morning and assuming the sauciest.

I’m so glad you’re liking it! Seeing people bookmarking or leaving likes just blows me away. I didn’t think it’d be so well received. I’ve never done something on this scale before. 

And oh my gosh! I never thought of that but I can see it. Nora has always been the first character to pick up on these kinds of things! Predicting Renora, Arkos, Bees, etc. 

Ruby already knows Jaune trains alone since before Higanbana (episode 2 I think?), so she might be able to talk Nora down from confronting them. Though Nora wouldn’t lose her suspicions...

I do my best to try to capture the tone of the characters from canon still (until things diverge enough). I think Nora would have a lot of fun holding that over Jaune’s head and teasing him with it when the time was right and Neo is more integrated in their group

That’s probably accurate and its a great thing. But I just keep getting distracted by how weird the modeling for Emerald’s hair looks from this angle.

Purple is the colour combination of Red and Blue, and from what we’ve seen from Ren’s semblance red petals are anger and blue petals are sadness

Guilt is like a mix of that. Sadness about the hurt caused, and anger/frustration at yourself for what you did

Ruby being a hard tease, sending Jaune that stuff while Beacon’s on break and the sisters are at Patch...

yang: *barges in* hey ruby have you seen? is that lingerie? and IS THAT A CAMERA?

Jaune’s and/or Yang’s auras adjusting based off ‘idiot isn’t gonna stop hugging the living bonfire’ or ‘he’s not even flinching anymore, just let him in’ is somehow the most in character dragonslayer metaphor I’ve seen in a bit.

I’d imagine Yang being low/mid-key clingy, she’d probably be touch-starved to hell and back.

And I’ve always liked the idea of Jaune calling Yang ‘Sunshine’, in this case he’d also call her ‘Sunburn’ when snark warrants it.

Dragonslayer headcanon au

Yang's skin litterally burn like a sun and no wanta to touch her. Until she meets a guy that is somehow immune to her buring skin

I don't know about this Greta, but you know who it'd be fun to see still exists? Deery, faunus tension is lowered so she might not have joined the WF, or she did, but she's Eve's plant in Jaune's office.

“So, there seems to be a gap in your resume...”

Jaune was currently hiring, as Greta had expressed some desire to retire in the near future. Hence Jaune asking her if she would train her successor.

She accepted, but only if he were to choose her. After all, he was the one to be working with her.

“Ah, that.” Deery, full name Deerdra Glas, was a cutie of a deer faunus, with two small antles growing out of her head. She had a pretty smile, but that mattered little to Jaune, even if it was nice to look at.

What mattered was if she could survive the bureaucratic hell.

“Well, I used to work at a charity, but I felt like it was not worth mentioning, since it was a small one-”

“You worke with the White Fang, didn’t you.” Jaune’s bullshit meters were honed well after weeks of surviving meeting after meeting with political sharks, some of which he really wanted to slap through a fucking wall.

“I worked with the White Fang,” Deery admitted in shame.

“Why are you lying?”

“It’s...” She looked down, sadness in her eyes. “It’s not a good look if I would mention it at a job interview.”

“Well,” Jaune started as his eyebrow raised up. “I made peace with Sienna herself, so that’s no excuse. Apart from that, however, your resume is solid.”

Deery nodded glumly, bracing herself for maybe some encouraging words before being sent away.

“When can you start?”

She didn’t expect that. “Bwuh?!”

He grinned at her, showing some teeth at it turned into an amused smile. “You are the first applicant who doesn’t want to sleep with me, so you are basically a shoo-in for that alone. Add to that your overall qualifications, and you are a fit. So yeah, when-”

“Right away!” she blurted out, beaming from ear to ear. Then she realized what she did, and sat back down. “I mean, if that’s okay...”

He laughed at her enthusiasm. “Maybe tomorrow? Today is already very much in progress, and I need to inform your trainer. trust me, she might look really jaded, but once she gets going with her stories, you’ll struggle not to laugh along.”

Deery laughed genuinely, feeling so much gratitude for the young man before him. “I can’t wait.”

Deery hated it. She hated that she had to apply with an ulterior motive. She would have liked to get to know Jaune Arc, anyway, the man who made Adam Taurus say “He’s a good human”.

She wnated the job for the job’s sake!

And maybe a little to get closer to Arc, because she thinks he’s cool....

But not for this!

“Thank you, Deery.”

“I hope you will continue gathering information for me,” Eve said, seeming all too pleased with the situation right now.

“I will delay- i mean, relay as much as I can,” Deery replied, eyes steely and expression much unlike the cutely demure woman from before..

It’s the prototype that the printer sent Coco, she gave it to Velvet as a ‘photographers fee’.

Not even a minute after the Jaune modeled body pillow was announced online, Pyrrha took the entire stock except one got away. Now who could the culprit be? Weiss? Ruby? Blake? Yang? Seems like a mystery.

Huh. Yeah what happened to it?

Why not start basic. How/When do you imagine them meeting?

I mean there’s a couple ways I enjoy it. Thw first one I think quite a few people have mentioned this way already.

They could meet after the fall at some point.

Jaune finds out Neo really only wants revenge. She’s convinced by the group to join their side because really it is Cinder’s fault. She continues on her revenge thing for a while. Then comes these late evenings, where its just Neo and Jaune, they communicate, and he tries to get through to her that he has gone through the same thing. The only thing it managed to do is get him in a bad situation and someone he cares about hurt.

She’s stubborn though, and she only cared about one other person. It doesn’t get through to her. He doesn’t stop, to her annoyance. She keeps her distance from the group, but she slowly gets dragged in by them to hangout. She ends up hanging around JNR more, however it is still awkward.

They manage to get her to smile, not a smirk but a genuine smile. She starts noticing and denying how close she is getting with them, specifically Jaune. It’s when she notices one day that as they’re all walking together she skipped forward and latched onto Jaune’s arm. She doesn’t know how long she was holding it for, but when she realizes what she is doing she jerks away.

She goes back to her distancing again. Jaune gets the worst of it. This goes on for a bit as he attempts to figure out what happened. Sometime later in a battle, Neo is too eager for a fight, and it leads to Jaune getting knocked out of it. For the first time in a long while, Neo’s heart jumps out of fear. She can’t control herself as she finds her body running towards him and holding him.

It’s at that moment she realizes what Jaune was trying to convince her. When the fight is clear and over with she stays by him until he’s better. When he comes to Neo is there to greet him, and she’s so ecstatic he is alright. She jumps in his lap, and he groans of pain. She smile at that before getting angry at him for making her worry. The next thing she knows shes kissing him, hard, and finally admits to herself that she cares about someone else. She jumps off his lap afterwards, and leave the room with him in shock. If he wants her, he’s gonna have to stand up and get her.

The other way is just that they meet up when Neo was pretending to be a student during the festival. And I won’t go to big into detail on that.

But this blog exists in it’s own universe cause I probably will reference being at beacon a bit.

Jaune: So anyway, Arslan says she wants to come with us so that’s cool. Does anyone have anything to say about that?

Nora: Why does Arslan keep calling you ‘Snuggle-Cub’?

Jaune: Does anyone have any other questions?

Yang: Look at this view, guys. And no, I don't mean my fat, juicy a-

Jaune: (Pushes Yang off the cliff) Get out of my way! I can't see the view! (Looks out) Damn. That is a nice view.

Yang: (Mid-fall, Clicks her teeth) You know, he's a dead man.
