I know we are all scared about the physical and emotional wellbeing of our two boys in the latest updates, but can you imagine how fucking awful the aftermath is going to be for Mob? Not just the overwhelming guilt of using his powers against others, which he'd sworn to never do to innocents, but of the fact that Mob has lost his anonymity. All through the series, Mob hasn't been tied to a single one of the catastrophic psychic events he's either stopped or created. The 7th Division of Claw scenario happened off in rural lands, Mogami was with a select group of psychics who probably don't know that Mob was the one who saved them, and he was never seen in the final battle of Claw and thus was never linked with the broccoli. Despite his power being common knowledge at school, Mob has never been linked to any of these events as far as we know, and thus has mostly been able to live a normal life like he desires. Now though, Mob has been seen rampaging through the city, nearly killing people left, right and centre. He has been reported to the police and is now most likely on several news networks. His face is everywhere, and all of the people who know him now know of the extent of his power. They realise that the young boy that they occasionally tease for his lack of social skills and athletics could've wiped them out in a blink of an eye. That's terrifying, and now if Mob ever goes back to school he's gonna realise how terrified everyone is of him in case he snaps again. He has no chance at a normal life anymore, and that's one of the scariest outcomes of this whole debacle -- Mob losing his friends to fear, and being considered a monster by society.
It’s been a while since I did one of these.
Miraculous Ladybug + Textposts: Featuring Chloe being….Chloe. (9/?)
S5!Jon, deeply traumatised and waist-deep in The Eye: i am nothing more than a monster. who could ever love me? I have committed so many sins and I know I will never be forgiven for the blood on my hands. I will always be alone
Martin, standing with a knife in hand, ready to commit a murder, and having rejected a bunch of entities to chase after Jon: am I a joke to you?
Mihashi in 1st ep of Big Windup!: cries, calls himself a shitty pitcher, stutters over his own name, gets the fear of god placed into him by a woman squeezing oranges, cries, finds his soulmate/catcher, cries again
Sawamura in 1st ep of Ace of Diamond: cries, bitchslaps 12 students and has the audacity to slap the grown-ass umpire as well, faces off against the strongest looking motherfucker and tries to pick a fight despite being a guest, meets his soulmate/catcher, cries some more
In summary: to be a pitcher you gotta have some good-ass tear ducts
They still look fucking gorgeous.

The FMA:B sacred star movie is hilarious because Al, sweet and chivalrous Al, saves the beloved girl warrior of the valley and is almost immediately called a monster and captured. Meanwhile, Ed the absolute bastard rocks on down to the valley, makes mud monsters to capture the valley people, and then takes one as a prisoner at sword-point. Then almost instantly makes friends with his hostage and everyone else around him. Edward Elric is like a DnD lawful good character with an awful personality that somehow manages to get out of every bad situation from the unholy amount of points he's dumped into his charisma.
Everyone in the tags is like: “don’t worry OP it gets better! Stick it out! Jon becomes less of a bastard later on! Soon they’ll both be pining and you’ll love it!”
Me, halfway through S2 and Jon’s ongoing and full-on ‘I’m-going-through-a-complete-paranoid-psychotic-breakdown-rn-and-i’m-dragging-all-you-fuckers-with-me’ rage fest, which includes verbally harassing and stalking Martin: uh-huh. sure.
*Hears all about TMA and how Jon and Martin are one of the most tender and heartbreaking romances in podcasting*
*Me, ecstatic for some more sweet gay pining, starts listening from the beginning*
Jon, first ep: so yeah those new researchers in the archives Sasha and Tim are on thin fuxking ice but fuck that Martin guy, he’ll never amount to anything
Me:
you're casually reading some gay smut online in your grandparents house as they amble on by.
Episode 1: what the-? What's going on? Why is there no weather it's just music!! I'm so confused. Cecil's voice is so nice tho...aw he has a crush so cute. I hope he can talk to this Carlos. A few episodes later: WHY ARE ALL THE INTERNS DYING THEY DIDNT DESERVE IT!!! Why is everyone so calm about this huge ass cloud that drops dead animals everywhere??? Why are so many things not real? Why is there no weather??? Will Cecil ever talk to Carlos where we can hear?? Now: ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD!! Fuck yeah I wonder what weather is coming up today? What's the death toll in this episode? 20? Nice that's less than usual. Carlos and Cecil are perfect and I would fight anyone who disrespects a single one of these characters! I have no idea what happened the past few weeks but it was fucking wild...
I know we all love our cute cinnamon roll Deku with his mumbling and pure heart, but the last episode really emphasised how truly terrifying this boy is. Deku's determination has been commended multiple times by many different people, seen as a way for other characters to feel motivated and inspired to be better heroes and people. However, ultimately, this determination serves as the main reason why he's so terrifying. In the last episode we really got a clear image of how far Deku will go in order to achieve a goal he has set (the training camp arc, and sequential fight for Kouda really fleshes this point out to a ridiculous degree). Saving Todoroki was the only thing on his mind, he didn't even think about the future consequences, but only whether or not each injury would hinder him from continuing to pursue his goal. Frankly the lengths he went to, absolutely destroying his hands so much that he required extensive surgery, should be something that should terrify most people, especially villains. Here's a kid fresh into the academy who can take breaking his bones multiple times over with only a grimace, while also coming up within genius plans on the fly under pressure and pain that surpasses what most people will ever experience in their lives. Villains often rely on their ability to terrify people with their capacity to inflict bodily harm and death without flinching. The threat of huge amounts of pain is bound to make most heroes pause and lose momentum for a moment out of personal fear. However, how are you meant to scare a fucking kid who doesn't flinch at breaking his body apart for a mere school contest?? The thought of going against anyone like that is terrifying, and it's reflected in the faces of the other students and spectators. Especially Shinsou. The look of horror on his face isn't just of seeing such horrible injuries. No. It's of seeing self-inflicted injuries out of pure determination without flinching on the opponent he just faced. He's only just realising the lengths Deku would go to succeed in his goals, and the pure strength he wields. Shinsou didn't know how powerful Deku really was, but he's just realising that, out of spite for being manipulated, Deku could've sacrificed a finger in order to shatter any part of Shinsou. If Deku was determined to do it, it definitely would've happened and Shinsou would've been powerless. That's fucking horrifying. Deku wields a power that can destroy buildings and his body with ease. And he's willing to do that in order to fulfill his goals. Not only is the sight of his broken body horrifying to most, but the knowledge that if this boy had a reason to turn his back on society, on being a hero, they would all be fucked. Here's someone willing to sacrifice everything for a goal decided mere minutes before the match, imagine what he could do with years of planning and control of this destructive quirk?? Deku is truly overlooked for people like Bakugo and Shinsou as villains in the manga/anime, and that definitely needs to stop because if Deku became the face of villainy, no one could stand against his tactical mind, pure power, and single-minded focus.
No offence but the greatest hero in the entire awfully painful Chimera Ant arc has got to be that young surgeon who, without batting an eye, performs surgery on this fucked up bug queen thing she had probably just been debriefed about on the way there. Like this chick just casually chats with these crazy monsters around her and even offers support to the soft bird boy when he's panicking. This woman doesn't give a fuck. She's probably seen shit 100x crazier than this before, what with working with all of the crazy hunters out there. I bet she was one of the people to operate on Gon after the whole fiasco and while all the other doctors are screaming about how this shouldn't happen to a normal being, she's just like 'man this is totally that crazy bastard Ging's son. The both of them are always finding new ways to kill themselves. Awesome. Time to save this crazy kids life then.' I'd like to believe this jaded young woman was the only reason Gon pulled through, and that's because she's seen some shit through her years, and that includes the mess Ging made with his own body. She's a pro at this now.
