As someone who has gone through SO many versions of herself and is now slowly growing to be a person she's genuinely happy and in love with
Trust me when I say I've had a lot of identities these past few years. It took me a lot of time to really find the best version of myself, the version that I'm genuinely happy with, the version that my 10 year old self would have looked up to. However, it's different for everyone. The definition of an "it girl" to me might be different from your definition, and the personality and life that truly feels me might not suit you. So, please take note that this is highly subjective and it's all about you and what works for you.
The one and only thing I did to rebrand myself: I created a character.
I gave my character a new name. You can give yours your current one or a nickname. I gave mine my second name. I built this character, I envisioned her, I turned her into a realistic person that I knew I'd look up to.
Basically, create an alter ego. And it wasn't easy to curate this character for me, it took a lot of time for me to build her into someone that I'd want to be, someone that still has flaws but embodies the energy and lifestyle I want.
Know what you want. How does this new you act? What do they like and dislike? What matters to them? How do they impact the people around them? What are they like? How would you describe them? What are their flaws and how do they deal with it? What are the bad habits they got rid of?
Make sure this version you want feels like you. This isn't about turning into another person, it's about growing as a person. It's about looking in the mirror and loving what you see with no doubt and no regrets. It's about knowing what you want and taking it right away, and it's about taking control of your own life and shaping it into one that you will fall in love with every single day.
Look up to this person. Get to know this person, know every single thing about them. Make sure that as you create this alter ego, it's truly someone you'd 100% look up to.
Fall in love. Personally, this part is my favorite. I start to visualize and imagine this person so much that I completely fall in love with her. This version is me, truly me, and utterly me. It's not someone else, it's the person I want to be because everything about this person feels like me. I start to romanticize growing and becoming this person, slowly shaping myself, changing my lifestyle, taking action, taking initiative, and building myself and my life brick by brick to fall in love with what I see in the mirror.
Take action and build yourself up. Slowly embody this person. You can't change overnight, but you can grow and shape yourself step by step.
This is NOT about turning into someone else. This isn't about changing yourself to be more likeable or to please others. This is all about knowing what direction you want to go and taking it. Make sure this character is realistic and truly you. Do not try to be someone you won't be happy with, be someone that will make it easier for you to love yourself. Don't become someone that will only push you beyond your limits and break you, become someone who can take control of their own life enough to build their life solely for themselves.

Usually, it takes me around 30 minutes or sometimes even longer to enter the void state. I typically get there by the time I reach step 4, but this time I somehow mastered it and entered in 10 minutes! Hereβs exactly what I did to enter quickly and effortlessly (but remember that everyoneβs journey is different)
1. Find a Comfortable Position, You can lay however you want, but for me, lying on my back helps me feel more symptoms. I stayed completely still, letting my body relax fully. No adjusting, no tension, just letting go.
2. Affirm with Full Belief, I repeated simple affirmations in my head, like:
β’ I am in the void.
β’ Entering the void is easy.
β’ I am pure consciousness.
I didnβt stress or wait for symptoms, I just affirmed and let myself sink into the feeling.
3. Counted to 100 & Affirmed When Needed, As I counted up to 100, I didnβt feel the need to constantly affirm. I only affirmed when I noticed my mind starting to wander. By the time I reached 100, I was already in the void.
4. If Youβre Not In Yet, Count from 100 to 0 & Affirm, If youβre not in yet, try counting down from 100 to 0 while continuing to affirm every now and then. Usually When I reach 0, I am already deep in the void.
I know for a fact it took 10 minutes because I had a subliminal playing in the background. Just as I fully entered, the sub ended, and an ad suddenly played, scaring me and pulling me out.
β’ Donβt Overcomplicate It, The void is natural. The more you let it happen instead of βtryingβ to enter, the easier it is.
β’ Detach from Outcomes, If you keep thinking βIs it working?β youβre just pulling yourself out of it. Assume itβs already done.
β’ If You Feel Yourself Dozing Off, Let It Happen, A lot of the time, youβll enter as you βfall asleep.β Trust the process.
And thatβs itβ10 minutes, and I was in. No forcing, no stressing, just trusting. If I can do it, you can too!
π what is pilates?
pilates is a form of strength training exercise that focuses on low to medium impact movements to improve muscle tone, stability, endurance, and mobility. pilates also focuses more on the smaller muscles of the body compared to traditional strength or weight training.
π benefits of pilates
including the benefits that exercise generally brings, pilates:
improves mind-body connection and body control
improves active flexibility and mobility
works the core, improving stability
improves coordination and balance
reduces mental and physical stress
works muscles that can be neglected in our daily lives
treats and prevents body pain, including menstrual pain
teaches you how to pair your breath with your body
keeps the joints healthy without putting pressure on them
π where to start
while you can absolutely start with studio or reformer classes, you can also do pilates routines on youtube! i recommend move with nicole and dansique fitness. if you want to get your cardio in as well, i absolutely recommend eleni fit. her workouts are some of the best iβve ever tried!
π personal tips
keep your core in mind. core strength is a major benefit of pilates because each movement requires at least a mild amount of core work to keep your body stable, so do your best to keep the engagement throughout.
start slow. pilates movements can take a while to fully understand and it can take a while to build the mind-body connection, so donβt push yourself too far in the beginning. your coordination will improve over time!
donβt underestimate it! while the movements are generally slower than other types of exercise, you will work your muscles just as much and in a way they may not have been worked before. sometimes i even find pilates more difficult than hiit or weights!

β β β this isnβt a self-help guide. iβm not your guru and this isnβt a powerpoint on gratitude. this is just me. sitting on the floor. iβm not here to raise your vibration. iβm here to askΒ why you think you need raising in the first place. i'm here because iβve been hoarding revelations like they're concert wristbands. i'm here because reality is porous and iβve got the straws. no, literally, iβve sucked on timeβs milkshake and found it lukewarm. we can do better.
you will not find steps here. there is no staircase. i burned it. we fly now.

Β΄ It girl ` guide magazine πβοΈ
hiiiπ if you want to start your journey of becoming the best version of yourself, you have to create habits for your daily life. in this part of the Β΄ It girl ` guide magazine i will tell you all about habits and how they will improve your life.
1. optimize habits you see on social media to your life. in the age where social media is part of our daily lifeβs, we are constantly trying to be influenced. try to optimize habits you see on the internet to what you need and to what you think would help you.
2. start small. if you want to include new habits into your life, you have to start small. letΒ΄s say you want to read 50 pages per day but normally donβt read a lot. try starting with ten pages and increase the amount over the span of a few weeks.
3. reward yourself. find a way to reward yourself after you stick to habits an amount of time. what worked for me are check lists. itΒ΄s not only a ay to stay organized, but also the feeling of checking every habit off is so satisfying to me.
1. donβt go on your phone for 2 hours after you wake up. our brain is constantly confronted with information. if the first thing we do is go on our phone, our brain will be overwhelmed. it will not only change the first few hours of your day, but also the whole day, because your brain wonβt have the continuous urge to go on your phone. (the same thing works at night - 2 hour before bed, no social media,)
2. wake up earlier. this will give you more time to ge ready for the day and leave you more time to start the day calm and relaxed and not in a hurry.
3. move your body daily. you donβt need to go to the gym or do hard exercises. it can be something light, like going on a walk, stretching, yoga, running.
4. plan your day. planning your days, weeks or months can help you get an overview of what you have to do. it will also improve your time management a lot!!!
5. clean your room. a clean room helps you have a clear mind. if you clean your room everyday for a few minutes will prevent your room to get so messy that you have to do a very big deep clean.
6. reading books. and with reading books i also challenge you to not only read fiction but also non-fiction and classics. this will improve your vocabulary and your knowledge, wich can also help you at school.
7. get 8-10 hours of sleep. i know for some people this sounds impossible, especially during school, but try sticking to this for a few weeks and you will see and feel the differences.
8. do your homework or assignments done as soon as you get them and donβt procrastinate. this will improve your time management a lot.
