I have been in such a slump lately (hence my extended hiatus from this blog). But now that things are starting to look up, I am slowly getting my life back together the way I'd like it to be.

Now, I come to you all for help <3

As the title says, can everyone comment or repost with language learning tips/resources/bits of knowledge, study tips/resources, anything productivity related, and any motivational or supportive things you guys would like to share? Ohh, and self care tips, time management tips, any advice you have about anything regarding getting out of a slump?

What youtubers do you watch to help? What podcasts do you listen to that help? Whatbpiece if knowledge or anything that you can share with me to help a girl out?

I seriously mean it. Anything you guys wanna leave in the comments, or my inbox, go for it! Book recommendations, TV show/movie/anime recommendations, music recommendations, makeup/skincare/self care recommendations, etc?

especially any financial content creators that share tips on budgeting, saving, investing, and healthy spending habits.

Hey lovelies <3

Let's help some girlies out by commenting or reblogging with your favorite self care products! Could be skincare, makeup, hair care, body care, etc! I'm always looking for some new products/tools to try so I thought this would be a good way to spread some helpful info!

Here's a few of my favorites:

🩷 Skincare:

I love face masks and eye masks! My current favorite face mask is the Red Bean Pore Refreshing Face Mask by Beauty of Joseon and my favorite eye masks are The Creme Shop Work Hard Rest Hard eye masks!

🩷 Body Care

body scrubs/body butters! I love using two similar scents together! For the summer, I use Tree Hurt Tropic Glow scrub and body butter and for winter I use Dove Exfoliating Scrub in Brown Sugar and the EOS Vanilla Cahsmete Lotion.

🩷 Hair Care

No specific product recommendations for this, but I love oiling my scalp twice a week! It makes my hair feel and look so beautiful! I currently use The Ordinary Moroccan Argan Oil and I use a scalp massager to gently massage the oil onto my scalp after applying it with warm fingers.

Hair Masks!!! I love the Shea Mositure Raw Shea Butter Hydration Mask so much, I use it with conditioner on my hair oiling days and my hair has never looked better.

🩷 Makeup

I love the Essence Tinted Brow Gel because even if I don't do much makeup, it makes me feel and look a little more put together.

Same goes for the Ulta Beauty Gel Eyeliner in Dark Brown, it makes me look and feel so much better some days, and it's not super bold like liquid liner so I don't feel the need to use Mascara.

Lip Oils!!! Milani Fruit Fetish and Elf Revive are my two favorites!! I have Milani In Cherry Lime and Elf in Jam Session. So moisturizing and a bit tinted so it makes me feel so good when I have it on. Even when I wear a bare face, I always use one of these to elevate my look!

🩷 Miscellaneous

Vitamin/Mineral supplements! I only take ones I know will work for me or ones I'm deficient in. I currently take Vitamin D3 and Aple Cider Vinegar supplements but I am looking into taking Magnesium Gylcinate and Ashwagandha soon as well!

Self care hobbies and routines! My gentle morning routine, journaling, yoga, a wind down night routine, and reading informative books has been so helpful for me!

I'm personally looking for hair growth tips and tools (like the efficiency of silk hair wraps or silk pillow cases, hair growth oils and supplements, etc), any and all skincare tips and tools (like ice face rollers, are gua sha effective, etc), and even body care products recommendations as well!!

I hope this post helps others out too, with everyone sharing their products recs, tips, advice, favorites, and so on!

So I haven't gotten tested because it's the weekend for me, but based on my current symptoms, there's a good chance I have the vid-19. Which is really not fun, but at least I've been dealing with it a bit. I left work early on Friday and am not able to work today thru Monday, which could potentially cost me my job, but fingers crossed.

I am currently looking to apply for a different job on my university campus, and I already know I'll get the job after I apply (my way of manifesting, lol). It'll be nice to do something a little different than my current job, for sure.

I'm going to try to get back to my regularly scheduled posts and routines as soon as I find myself in better health. I feel bad not posting, but I've also been resting a ton to try and heal faster. But yeah, I currently feel like -12/10 in gems of physical health.

Fingers crossed, I'm better by Tuesday! I have my first cooking class on Tuesday evening, so hopefully I am better and can attend because the professor for that class is amazing!

Also, thank you guys for 150+ followers! Just a few weeks ago, when I started taking my blog seriously, I only had 7 followers so having over 150 now is incredible! I appreciate all of you so much <333

Last night, I was decently productive to the point where I was actually proud of what I was able to accomplish. It was a nice feeling. I'm still grappling with the thoughts of what to do in regards to continuing my education, if I go the community college (Medical Assisting) route or continue with my university (Nutrition and Dietetics), despite the possible financial issues I'll be facing.

What I Accomplished Yesterday (March 28th) ✨️

did a hydrating face mask (it was amazing)

washed and put away a load of laundry

paid my rent

wrote out some chapter 8 notes + chapter 8 vocabulary notes for health and exercise psychology

wrote out a solid chunk of my chapter 9 notes for exercise physiology (need to finish chapter 9 and start chapter 10 asap, but that's what I get for being 2 chapters behind)

journaled about some stuff going on in my head (mostly the continuing education stuff that's been plaguing my thoughts)

studied/did schoolwork for a total of 122 minutes

looked at potential classes I could take + other options for switching to the community college here in town

Yesterday was definitely a decent day in terms of stuff I was able to get done, but I also know I slacked off A LOT. More than I am comfortable with having slacked off. I'm slowly getting back into my school grind mindset, especially with the semester coming to an end soon. I really want to get my grades back up where I need them to be and end the semester on a high note, with a good GPA and a sense of pride in knowing I tried.

My goal is to get all of this done today, and I have a strong feeling I'll be successful as long as I keep my head in the game and remember that I have priorities and things need to get done. If I don't do the things, then the things don't get done, and I can't have that.

Today started off a little rocky, I was dealing with some conflict but the day ended off pretty good! I want to start back up with my daily check ins now that school is in session, I'm working, and life is back to normal!

🩷 What I Accomplished

put away all my clean clothes

cleaned my bathroom

organized my closet and bedroom

meal prepped protein pasta and broccoli for the week

bought and picked up groceries for the next twoish weeks

submitted and passed syllabus quiz for intro to business

ordered my creatine and protien powder samplers

had my first therapy appointment since I've been home and set up next weeks appointment

morning + night journaling

night skincare + face mask

organized my desk

washed dishes 2x

took an hour nap in the late morning

fought with my boyfriend a bit throughout the day (I hate fighting with him so much)

Update To My Posts/Blog & Daily Check Ins πŸŽ€

So, when I first started this blog about two months ago, I had planned on using it as a way to stay accountable towards things like weight loss and my health journey. That was in the summer, when I had the time to solely focus on that as my top priority. Now, with school having started, my weeks, even my days are so much busier now. I am currently working over 30+ hours a week at my job, taking on 17 credit hours at my university, joining a club on campus, and am now under the mentorship of two separate registered dietician’s all while self studying two languages, keeping up with a self care routine, socializing with friends, doing homework outside of class time, and beginning a workout routine again as I recover from a semi serious back injury.

All that being said, I would really like to incorporate a little bit from every aspect of my life into this tumblr blog. I am still keeping my pink, girly, kpop aesthetic, because I absolutely adore it, but I am going to add on some different topics of interest into my daily check ins. I will continue with the what I eat in a day, habits I accomplished, any workouts or movement I did, and a song of the day, but I will also add in productive/school goals I achieved (such as how long I studied, how much schoolwork I finished, language learning stuff, etc), and just overall stuff about my daily life as a semi high achieving university student!

I will be posting a check in for today later tonight! It will include what I ate, what I did personal wise, school/productive stuff I did, a song of the day, and just an overall update on what I did today! I just need to get my format of how I want to write out everything figured out.

No update for Friday as all I did was go to class then go to work, come home, and sleep. But Saturday was a very good day and I feel as tho I did a good amount of things! And I feel good about the thing I did! <3

🩷 What I Accomplished:

woke up early before work (didn't hit my alarm three times and wake up tired, like I've been doing)

worked a ~7hour shift

agreed to cover a coworkers morning shift on Sunday 4/21

created a budget/ work plan for next semester to see how much I can make vs what most of my spending will look like

made an appointment to get a tattoo at the beginning of May (it's a tattoo to honor my dad and my late mother, who will have been gone 10 years this year. I wanted to honor my dad with the tattoo as well because he has been an amazing parent for the last 10 years, and I love and appreciate him so much)

booked an intro class at club pilates for mid-may (finally going to see if I enjoy it, and if so, will continue taking classes next semester!)

did a morning yoga workout

reflected on why I've been having a hard time sticking to my goals/daily tasks lately

washed my laundry (didn't put away tho)

πŸ’ž Good Things That Happened:

my friend gave me a ride to work

my favorite supervisor gave me a ride home from work

ate some spicy cheesey ramen

had a really good day at work

was able to request a day off work for beginning of May

got told my tattoo won't cost as much as I had thought

talked more with my roommates

πŸ’” What Could've Gone Better:

drank too much coffee, and too late at night

had a near panic attack because of the coffee and cried myself to sleep

didn't zoom with my boyfriend because of how bad the coffee made me feel

lost trust with a different supervisor that I had thought was cool with me ( made me realize you can't trust most men to keep their word nowadays. not all men. just the men where I live at least.)

didn't study anything or do anything I felt was productive

πŸ’— Stuff For Sunday:
