this is an article I wrote for Vocal.media, a lovely platform for blogging where writers like to unload their creative impetus. this one is about past experiences and personal flaws and how your shortcomings and limitations can serve as a design tool for your personality and life.

I put my bowls on the line. Yes I LOVE breakfast, it is my favourite meal and I make it count. Yes this is a GIANT bowl of FRUIT and yes I had some quinoa, split peas, swede and lentils before this and a big slice of sourdough wholegrain bread with raw cashew nut butter and fig marmalade after…AND some self made wholegrain, date and banana muffinlke cookies with my coffee 🙌🤸‍♂️ . I realized i want to be healthy and that I need to eat a lot, both because I am me and that is how I roll and because if you eat plant based, you can and need to do big portions. TRUST . A breakfast of this magnitude, out in a cafe would cost me an eye from my head, and it would be filled with undesirable oils and excessive salt and sugar. While at home is still not the cheapest thing, cause it is a lot of food that, but it is still way cheaper and healthier in comparison . Altho I love from time to time to go to some cafe a have a cheeky breakfast time…luxurious innit . I made a choice to spend money on food rather than on other things, because it is an investment. And since I don’t eat animal products almost ever and I tend to buy actual whole plant food instead of fake meats and a whole bunch of processed shit, like I used to, it is still the cheapest option around . I save a ton of money by not doing drugs, not smoking, not gambling, not buying expensive designer clothes every two weeks and drinking booze extremely rarely.. . so I still spend less money every month than most people, even if the food I buy from the organic stand costs more than the cheaper, but blender food I used to buy before . with what you are feeling (by air, sight or skin),

if you can't feel yourself then,

does it mean you are not in touch with yourself?

But then again, how can that be?

If you are alive, you must be attached to yourself

somehow, by some aspect of you!! It must be!

Are monotasking and multitasking mutually exclusive?

The answer I would give is NO.

Juggle many projects but focus on each one singularly at the time of dealing with it.

My thoughts are deep

My memories shallow

My intellect curios and hyperactive

My Ego fragile, attached and rigid...

I feel too much

Yet I don't feel enough.

So you can see the problem

With asking me what I think.

Don't forget your B12 and your hydration

B12 is made by microorganisms that live on the earth. They can be found in wild waterstreams and on the soil. In the world we live in, we can't access thes microorganisms because our water is disinfected to avoid cholera and other shit and we don't eat grass from the earth or feces like gorillas and chimps

You can get it second hand from animal products but I can't do that anymore knowing what I know (health, enovironmental, social and ethical consequences of meat and fish consumption)

I am not #vegan 100% but that is my north star, I try to follow a #wholefoodsplantbased diet as much as possible because it is the best way to keep me healthy and the laziest way to make a positive contribution to society and environment

MINDFUL FUN MULTITASKING

When Bruce Lee was reading a book, he was often stretching his legs and lifting some weights or some malarkey like that. He was cramming as many things he could into his precious time and he wasn't wasteful with it either. He wasn't just multitasking mindlessly, he was methodic and focussed

The Bassist of the Winery Dogs rock band used to sit in front of the TV for hours, watching his favourite shows and practicing his bass technique

Recently I discovered this for myself. One day I was listening to @richroll podcast (fenomenal! Listen to it! NOW!) or maybe actually @brucelee podcast (yes he has a podcast, run by his daughter, great stuff, listen to it! NOW!) and at the same time I wanted to practice drums too. So I did both. Then I realized I can do that with videos on youtube and now I am doing it with movies

So here I am, studying a monologue from #shakespeare, then taking a break and watching a kickass movie while doing #bassguitar excercises. THE DREAM LIFE!!

.

I have a long list of movies I gottu catch up on and long hours of bass and drum practice to catch up on too. So this is it. Back to The Future trilogy, then all the Indiana Jones, then many more. Got to refresh my pop culture memories

Watching Back to the Future now, OMG, I forgot how awesome it is...and @realmikejfox ...Looks so young, a kid!! It is crazy, when you are a child anybody a few years older looks like and adult, in your 30ies anybody below 27 looks like a child 😱

I am not a calligrapher, however, I always loved it. As a kid I used to get obsessive about people's handwriting and as a teen i got heavily into hip hop and was sooo fascinated by graffiti writing. And now as an adult I can't help but admire those who do it to high levels and try some amateurish attempts of my own, just for the fun of it.

With drums, more so than anything else, (here comes the pun...) you gotta keep banging on (EL OU EL 🙌😂). You start shaky, then you warm up and then you start slowly flowing. Practice practice practice.

Follow the light trails. In your own depths, where the light is scarse and the pressure is boneshattering, you have to shine of your own light and give birth to your own inner strength. There is a light somewhere that is yours and yours alone, a burning flame of fluid destiny that is lit for you to follow. But your eyes have to be open, your soul must know it. If they are and if it does...well, surrender to it and follow the light trail. Aren't you curious? To find out where it leads? To find out the shape of your essence?
