"I'm not here to fix you, I'm here to hold your hand when you do"
K but can we end this toxic cultural idea that if your s/o is dealing with an anxiety attack or in the down spirals of depression, that you’ve somehow failed them??? and the corresponding idea that you are solely responsible for their mental health and/or one of you is the “cure” for one or more of any mental illnesses?
like that shit is NOT healthy. You really love them? Then just be there for them. If it’s too much for you to handle, if it causes you any distress, then leave. This kind of mentality is EXTREMELY toxic, even though you may have the best intentions.
Have fun with ur mum! McDonalds will miss u tho 🌼

tsorin answered your question “Doodle night”
Arslan and Gieve
The last one for yesterday’s Doodle Night (that actually went on until morning). I had an urgent business to attend after doing chibi 707 and after that I basically passed out lol. Sorry for the lateness.
And thank you everyone who gave suggestions! With this, Doodle Night ends.

Remember, there’s not one way to draw things! You don’t have to draw it exactly like this , but you can apply certain things from this. This is just a little process we hope that might be useful to others out there! More to come, y’all!
Edit: Something else to keep in mind ! It’s something we see from other artists who put tutorials online and the result after they post it - When coming across a tutorial , taking the technique or the simplification of a process and carrying that over to your own way of drawing things is a lot more beneficial than copying the exact composition/subject matter/color pallet . If it’s for practice , that’s fine! But don’t let a tutorial direct ( or discourage) you in a way that isn’t your own unique way of drawing . If you’re in search of finding a style of your own , then finding helpful tutorials is a great way to expand your knowledge of techniques rather than doing exact copies of the actual art itself. :) And just to add , we’re big fans of Evyind Earle! His technique of graphic simplification is something we’re learning ourselves as we try to apply the photoshop layers in a similar , simpler fashion. He’s a good artist to learn from , so hopefully this tutorial was helpful in deconstructing admirable aspects of some awesome work from different artists we enjoy! And if you did this tutorial , please let us know. We’d love to see what you did !
God is looking down at tumblr like "wtf? You was meant to be a crazed place, of dark fantasies and gay smut?!"
Clothes
Hi Ennun! Do you have any tips for drawing folds and wrinkles in clothing? I always have trouble with placing them in the right places.
I can show you a few drawings with different clothing so maybe it’ll help you understand.
When you draw clothes, you should keep in mind what kind of fabric they are made of:
lower body:
For pants and such, the folds usually occur around the crouch, the knees and the ankles. For skirts, it really depends on the kind and the length. Skirts made from a full circle have folds at he base, those made with a longer piece of fabrics have folds at the waist (or top) and depending on whether it’s fluffy or not, there’s folds at the base as well, or not.
full body:
When you draw dresses, think of how they hug around the body. For example, baby doll dresses have an upper part that closes in with the lower part under the breasts. Then, depending on the material, you need to draw more or less folds. Also keep in mind that these folds need to go around the boobs, so don’t just make straight lines, give the body volume.
Same goes for really flowy materials (like drawing 4) When you drape it over the breasts, make sure you show it.
upper body:
For upper body, shirts and such usually fold at the armpits, the elbows, the waist and the wrists. If clothes are hugging the body, then there are folds around the chest and abs area too, and just as with the breasts, make sure they’re not straight lines, because they’re defining the body.
You can draw straight lines if it’s a large shirt, because then the material is so big that it doesn’t really touch the rest of the body, and if it does, it’s just the waist.

A quick Hot Tip for drawing shoes from me; a man who enjoys looking at shoes maybe too much
It’s good to draw some kind of foot looking shape before you draw shoes so they’re like the right size and shape but sometimes I see people draw soles as like flat things hovering under the feet but if you look at your own shoes you’ll see that the inside of your shoes are not flat, they’re bottom of your foot shaped and your feet sink into them a bit so they’re comfortable and not like slapping an oval block of wood to your foot
So the outside band on shoes is usually somewhere higher than you might think
Of course in many real shoes there’d be a bit of an arch from a raised up heel or something, so I probably should have drawn some feet instead of lazying out, but hopefully you get the idea.
La Beyoncé.
i liked beyoncé’s lemonade video a totally normal amount, and this was an excellent use of my time. 🍋🐝

I want to wish everyone who has upcoming exams all the best ✨ I know it’s a very stressful time but it’s also the time for us to harvest what we’ve sown. I hope all the effort we’ve made throughout the years will show and that we’re one step closer to our goals 🐝 Remember that I love you and I will be here if you ever want someone to talk to, about the good stuff and the bad! Please take care of yourselves 🌹

Thank you for the ressource! Langblr is a lifesaver tbh
OKAY GUYS I DON’T KNOW IF THIS HAS BEEN DONE BUT I NEED TO TALK ABOUT BILINGUIS. ya’ll, this site is amazing. it’s a site of free, public-domain bilingual books. and there are SO MANY LANGUAGES. it’s not just french and spanish, but also dutch, mandarin, ukrainian, esperanto and way more. there are only five books but they are all classics and they are all amazing!
see that? that’s Alice in Wonderland in Esperanto and English. AND IT GETS BETTER. in certain languages, YOU CAN PLAY THE AUDIOBOOK ALONG WITH IT AS YOU READ. it’s also worth noting that you don’t have to have it in english and another language. you can have it in any two of the languages offered.
anyway, here it is. so please guys, spread the knowledge, because it’s totally great and i have a new addiction.
