You were spending the New Years in with Crypto inside your apartment, huddled up next to him with a movie playing, heater on, and a nice blanket covering the both of you two.

Glancing over at the clock, you realized it wasn't long before the New Year was here. You got out of your cozy spot, slipping into a jacket.

Crypto looked at you, confused.

"Where you going (y/n)?" He asks as he observes you as you zip up your jacket.

"I'm gonna be heading out to the balcony to see the fireworks, wanna come?" You replied, dusting yourself off before walking over to your glass door, sliding it open.

You felt the cool breeze hit your face, it was refreshing to say the least. Hearing Crypto groan, you turned to look at him, he was getting his jacket on as well before heading out with you.

You smiled at how cute he was before stepping out, leaning onto the rail. Crypto following along, looking at the millions of lights that made Solace glow in the middle of the night.

Crypto exhaled deeply, "You know...I never thought I would ever be able to celebrate these kinds of things again."

You looked over at him, frowning slightly.

"It was...hard. Being alone after fleeing Gaea. But coming to Solace, it was a change. I wasn't sure if it was a good or bad but...after a while, I realized it wasn't so bad. I got to meet a lot of people, people I could trust, like you." He turned to look at you, softly smiling with his cheeks a bit red.

Your frown turned into a small smile, you were absolutely grateful he found you as his comfort.

The two of you weren't together but you guys were very close to one another. There were mutual feelings as well but the both of you could never find the right time to make it official.

"Tae...?" You quietly said his name, adverting your eyes when he made eye contact with you.

"네?(yes?)" He looked at you curiously, a sparkle in his eye when he answered.

You opened your mouth to say something, but you let your actions speak for itself.

Leaning in closer you pressed your lips against his, the hacker was a bit surprised, but gladly melted into the kiss. Letting his hands slide onto your waist pulling you in a bit closer to him.

The kiss was chaste but pure, you pulled away, letting the both of you catch a breath. Looking at each other softly before fireworks were set off.

The two of you turned to look at the colorful sparkles in the dark sky. Before you both looked at each other lovingly.

"야(hey) does this make the both of us...?" Crypto asked curiously, voice softening at the end.

You couldn't help but grin at his question, wrapping your arms around his neck pulling him closer for another kiss, a bit heated this time but with loving intentions.

Pulling away, catching your breath, feeling your face get really warm from the cold to the feeling of kissing your crush.

"Yea...Yea it does..." You softly laughed "Happy New Year Taejoon"

"Happy New Year to you too jagiya..." He gave a warm smile, pulling you in for the loveliest hug to start off a New Year.

Hey world. I know no one is probably reading this, but hey its just me rambling anyways :) So I have no one to really talk to about stuff anymore. Lost most of my friends recently and just over all I have been going through a lot.
