sending your friends terrible tumblr posts is a love language
In order to celebrate me reaching 3000+ followers on my tumblr, I’m hosting a giveaway!
The rules are simple:
Reblog this post on your blog!
The giveaway is made for followers only, so you have to be following me in order to enter! I assure you that, other than my art, I post great frog content, so you won’t be disappointed.
The giveaway starts on the 27th of august 2019 and ends on the 17th of september 2019. Entries after this date will not be considered!
I’ll choose the two winners randomly (via random.org) on the 18th of september and announce them on my blog!
I need a way to contact you in case you win, so heep your inbox or tumblr chat open and in sight! In order to avoid inactives or bots, I’ll give you a week to respond with your request in case you win, but if I’m not able to reach you, I’ll choose another winner! ( Keep your eyes peeled! )
The art shown as example is exactly what you’ll get in case you win! A full rendered portrait (oc or fanart) if you are the first winner, and a half body colored sketch (oc or fanart) in case you are the second winner. No other requests (fully rendered illustrations, fullbodies… etc) will be available this time, sorry!
And that’s about it!
This is to thank everyone that has been supporting and following me, new or long-time follower. This is for you, guys!
I’m rewatching the L’Manburg revolution vods and losing my shit over how this is a FUCKING MINECRAFT ROLEPLAY
“You can describe what makes a man strong, but you can’t describe what makes a man wise.”
“You know what we have that they don’t have? We have camaraderie. We have a righteous cause. We have an area to defend. Do you know what he’s driven by? Greed. Do you know what we’re driven by? The defense of our land.”
“Until the day we stop breathing, that is when L’Manburg has fallen. He can destroy the walls. He can slaughter our friends, our family. But until the day we stop breathing, and the moment we let go of that dream we have of a self-emancipated nation, that is when he has won. Men, are you going to let go of that dream?”
“Independence, or death. If we get no revolution, then we want nothing.”
There is an entire scene where Wilbur has Fundy read “Ozymandias” and foreshadows the entire L’Manburg arc???
Okay so I was thinking. All the people closest to Technoblade are on the verge of death.
Assuming he really does care about Tommy (and I think he does), that kid is on his last life, and he’s being perused by the owner of the server who has leverage over the both of them (the favor and the disks).
Philza is a hardcore player and therefore only ever had one life to begin with, and he just escaped house arrest. I don’t think anyone’s going to come for him? but he’s not exactly lacking in negative relationships.
Carl is an animal and therefore only has one life at all, no options for “non-canon deaths”
And Wilbur is literally already a ghost now with severe amnesia.
And it just makes me think. “Technoblade never dies” doesn’t sound so positive anymore.
while i know we all love to analyze the dream smp’s good parts and bad parts (myself included), i think we all also gotta realize that this isn’t some highly-funded television program that can get everything perfect. sure, we can be irked by certain aspects that don’t tie in well with the plot, but this is literally minecraft improv. it would be expected that there would be some flaws present.
it’s okay to care deeply about plot and lore, but let’s remember that this is all for fun too! we shouldn’t be too angry if something displeases us. take the dream smp with a grain of salt, and don’t forget to have fun while watching the streams!!
"oh sorry, i guess i was infodumping again" - sad, shy, apologetic
"you sly dog, you got me monologuing" - cool, strong, confident
i am but a humble moron vying for attention in this court overrun with jesters. throw me some scraps. my bells do a delightful little jingle when i wiggle my tiny hat
We all really slept on Quackity's POV of Doomsday. It's probably the saddest one out of all of them.
Quackity actually ran away from L'Manberg before the battle, with his only possession of value, his skeleton horse. He ran because he realized there was no saving the nation. He was scared and hopeless. He had no weapons, no armor. He knew he wasn't a good fighter. He was prepared to start a new life somewhere else.
But he realized after reading Ranboo's memory book that he wanted to fight anyway. This was the very thing he became vice president to do: try and stop tyranny, even if it cost him his last life. He had absolutely nothing to gain, everything to lose, and would lose everything anyway. And yet he came back.
He died again and again.
He lost. Dream, Technoblade and Philza annihilated L'Manberg.
And when everything was over, he stood on the obsidian scaffolding above the crater. He stood with Tubbo, Tommy and Wilbur, brothers in arms, he sang from his heart, the anthem lost to the bombing that only he remembered the words to, a final goodbye to his home.
Someone's cutting onions in here.
something i haven't seen anyone mention about the Puss in boots: the last wish
there are plenty of stories about someone trying to cheat death, but I don't think I've ever come across a story before where death doesn't play fair either. and the fact that the wolf just casually admitted it? loved it
and the twist is hilarious: you would think that he has some pretty good reason for trying to kill Puss before his time has come, but no. Death just got fed up with watching this dumbass cat waste his lives in incredibly stupid ways, and decided that this arrogant lil bitch needs to get his ass whooped
