ACTUALLY STOP that FinnLo fight was my favorite fic of yours yet. You’ve blessed my feed today and fed the monster in my brain lmao you’re awesome
Just posted another angsty one with our Lolo! You all LOVE to watch him suffer, my goodness.
I had this idea for headcanons about the Cubs as drivers/passenger princess combos and JUST LISTEN, LISTEN-
Finn driving, Logan as Passenger Princess: This combination doesn't happen often, because Leo's legs are SO LONG that he usually needs to either drive or sit in the front seat, but WHEN IT DOES (usually when Leo is tired and lies down in the back to nap), HOLY MOLY. Finn is a chatterbox all the time, and Logan FEEDS off of his energy. They're debating sports and plays and stuff. Finn talks with his hands and so he's constantly tapping on Logan's thigh to emphasize his point. He also does NOT LIKE the music Logan plays (I feel like this is one thing they have VERY different tastes for that kinda clash), so he's always chirping Logan about that. Logan gets kind of protective over his snacks, but shares with Finn anyway (cue: AGGRESSIVE SIDE EYE). Finn always thanks him with a smile and at every red light he leans over and kisses Logan's cheek to remind him that, though they may be debating and discussing stuff in the car, it really isn't that serious and he just loves Logan so so so much. He feels so lucky that, after everything, he gets to share these domestic moments with him.
Logan driving, Finn as Passenger Princess: Pretty much the same: debating, discussing, but this time Logan is demanding snacks. He's a BIG skin-to-skin guy, so he loves when he drives in the summer and his boys are in SHORTS and he can place his hand on Finn's (or Leo's) bare thigh. Finn still talks with his hands, but this time he's playing with Logan's fingers. Logan doesn't hate Finn's music as much as Finn hates Logan's, so it's a bit calmer on that front. In this situation and the one above, directions are CHAOTIC. Both of them are kinda bad at it.
Leo driving, Finn as Passenger Princess: Finn is HORRIBLE at giving directions and focusing, and Leo NEEDS to know the next step he needs to take on the route when he completes the previous, and needs ample notification time before the upcoming step. Finn gets SO distracted and could be looking at the directions and be like: "Uh, okay, so it says here- oh! You got a text from Reg, it says-" "Sweetheart, directions." "Right, right, sorry, sunshine." *To apologize, Finn begins pressing kisses to the back of Leo's hand and gets distracted again.* "Finn." "Right! Sorry." Leo is also a big palm-on-thigh guy, and lets Finn just fiddle with his fingers the whole time. He's Finn's very own fidget toy. When Leo has to back up, he rests his hand on Finn's headrest to look behind him and Finn SWOONS. His sunshine has nice biceps. Finn is weirdly obsessed with the Les Mis soundtrack and absolutely BELTS it out. Logan groans but finds it so endearing, and Leo sings along happily under his breath.
Leo driving, Logan as Passenger Princess: This combination mostly happens at night, because Finn CANNOT stay awake at the wheel, and Logan is half sleepy, but insomniac sunshine can drive just fine. Logan always chooses one of Leo's soft, acoustic playlists to listen to because they relax him. It's quiet, with Finn conked out in the back seat, and LeLo just sit in each other's silence mostly, or quietly murmur to one another. Leo has to prompt Logan for directions every now and then, but that's mostly because Logan is too busy watching how the streetlights reflect off of his skin and listening to his soft voice sing along to the music. Leo's hand is on Logan's thigh the whole time, and sometimes up scratching at his hair. Logan takes it and kisses it or even leans across the console to kiss his cheek. He ALSO SWOONS when Leo backs the car up and is known for taking a nice bite of Leo's bicep every now and then.
FinnorLogan driving and Leo as a Passenger Princess: Leo Knut is the PERFECT Passenger Princess. Directions? Three steps ahead with exact mileage and periodic check-ins with ample notification time. Snacks? Has the exact ones that FinnLo like and his own, which he brings slightly extra of because his boyfriends ALWAYS ask for some because what's his is theirs. Definitely brings an extra designated 'Driver Water Bottle' with a small nozzle so Finn/Logan can drink without spilling on themselves, and then ANOTHER extra water bottle because whoever isn't driving DEFINITELY forgot theirs (he then has his own small-nozzled Nalgene with a straw inside and a Lions Pride sticker on the outside, and it is HIS). Music? Has a nice rotation of songs that each of them likes. He plays a Finn-song, a Lo-song, and a Le-song, then starts the process over again so everyone stays relatively happy. Conversation? He is whatever they need him to be. He's avidly engaged with Finn and lets him tap on his thigh all he needs, and then he's quietly chatting with Logan, covering the Logan's hand on his thigh with his own because Logan loves the feeling of warm skin against his. AC? This man has it DOWN. Always has his own seat-heater on and his personal AC set to approximately 72 degrees; Finn's is set to approximately 68, with the seat heater on low in the winter; and Logan's is a FREEZING 62, even in the winter, and he NEVER has a seat heater on. Leo knows his Weighted Blanket Boy is HOTHOTHOT (in many ways). Overall, 100000000000/10 Passenger Princess, the best in the biz. FinnLo love him so much. <3
i’ve made it through finals!!! reward is that i finally get to check here (it’s been like two days im addicted and hate doing school work) but yay now i have things to read!!! sending you love and appreciation!!

It’s honestly a crime the gender bent cubs didn’t get more engagement I LOVED THEM
Can we pls talk about how genderbent Leo would be a literal supermodel?! Like long golden hair with Mile long legs with the canon ability to tan so easily?! I just KNOW she would be drop dead gorgeous. Can we see finlo being possessive girlfriends?? I need that in my life‼️‼️
I know I usually answer these in the order I receive them, but this message was so sweet and this prompt got me so excited, and I IMMEDIATELY went and wrote this! The post this ask is referencing is here, if you're curious.
GO BOSTON FLEET!!!!

Logan leaned into the hand Finn had around her waist, tucked underneath Logan's gray suit jacket to be closer to her skin through her white button-down. A kiss was pressed to the side of her head. “You get yourself another drink, baby?”
Logan nodded and turned to look at Finn. “Ouais. Got you and Le some gin and tonics, too.”
Finn's brown eyes stood out against the green of her jumpsuit. Her jaw length, straightened hair fell in front to cover them, and Logan reached up to tuck it behind her ear. Finn smiled. “Thanks, baby.” She brushed Logan’s dark waves over her shoulder distractedly. “You having a good time?”
“Yeah,” Logan said. She leaned into the hand Finn was using to massage the base of her neck. “Talked with Sirius, mostly.”
Finn laughed lightly. “My little wallflower.” She leaned in closer. Logan had to look up more than normal, because she was in Converse and Finn was in heels that made her so beautiful and tall. “You look so good tonight, Lo.”
Logan blushed. “You've said.”
Finn shook her head. “Then I'll say it again.” She wrapped her arms around Logan's waist and squeezed. “You're so gorgeous.”
Logan leaned up to kiss her. “Toi aussi.”
Finn looked pleased, and Logan stood on her toes to kiss her cheek once more before the bartender came with their drinks.
“Two gin and tonics and a rum and Coke?”
Logan nodded. “Merci.” She handed Finn hers and took her own and Leo's. “Allez, where's Le?”
Finn was already looking, scanning the crowd. “I don't know, I haven't seen her in-” She interrupted herself with a sharp inhale. “Oh. Jesus, we did so good.” She jerked her head. “Look, over there.”
Logan followed Finn's gaze until her eyes landed on Leo, laughing at a standing table with a few people Logan didn't know. She was so good at chatting up a room, much better than Logan was, and she had her present company in stitches. The gala, a joint Boston Fleet and Boston Bruins summer charity event, was a fairly high-brow and certainly fancy opportunity to raise money for keeping the local libraries open and promoting a raise in teacher pay. Leo had been one of the players to spearhead the initiative, and as such was one of the most sought-out people of the night. Logan hadn't seen her in what felt like hours- which was a shame really, considering how good she looked.
Her long, blonde, corkscrew curls were pulled back in a ponytail with a blue ribbon high on her head, save for a few strands, accentuating her sharp jawline and round face. Her dress was a shimmery blue that matched her eyes, the back of it dipping low to show off her lean muscles. She'd done her makeup kind of smoky and with a bit of glitter, accentuating the blue of her irises, and Logan shivered at how striking they were. Her necklace, earrings, bracelets, and rings shone against her skin, golden from the summer sun. The nail in the coffin, however, was the slit on the side of her dress. She was bent over slightly to rest her forearms on the table, and Logan's eyes followed the curve of her breasts down to her torso, slightly softer than Logan and Finn were, down to the swell of her butt, and, finally, to those mile-long, tanned legs peeking out through the fabric. They were all on display, her muscles flexing lightly to balance in her silver heels, making her even more toweringly beautiful than she already was.
“God, just look at her,” Finn repeated dreamily. She was rubbing her hand up and down Logan's ribs again. “Isn't she just the most beautiful thing?”
Logan made a noise of agreement, resting her head against Finn's shoulder. They just stood and watched for a minute, admiring. Leo's white teeth showed every time she laughed, and her button nose scrunched and crinkled the skin around her eyes. She looked so gorgeous, and more important, joyful, that Logan could have stayed there and gazed at her forever.
Until, however, someone approached her.
Logan bristled as a man Leo's height walked up to her, stumbling a bit. He wasn’t one of the players on either team- probably a relative or friend of the owners, and he definitely seemed to be tipsy and looking for a good time. He looked Leo up and down and said something with a sly grin. Leo’s smile was strained and nervous, her back muscles tense as she took a step back. He tried to reach out to her wrist, presumably to compliment her bracelet, but she just took her hand away and began to fiddle with the chain. Logan could feel Finn just as tense beside her, locked and loaded like a gun, and the last straw was when he tried to step into Leo’s space and she held a hand up, talking rapidly.
“Shit,” Finn said. She began walking forward hurriedly. Logan followed.
“I told you,” Leo was saying as they approached. “I'm already taken. I appreciate the compliment, but-”
“Then where is he?” the guy interrupted.
“Right here,” Finn said. She placed an arm possessively around Leo’s waist. Her smile was overly sweet and mocking. “Kindly leave us alone.”
But the guy just cocked an eyebrow at Leo. “And you're sure these aren't just your friends making a show?”
Logan let out a frustrated huff from Leo's other side. She set both drinks down and took Leo's hand in hers and kissed it, glaring at him the whole time. “Fuck off.”
The man narrowed his eyes but walked away. Logan could feel the tension in Leo's body evaporate immediately.
“Jesus,” Finn said. She came to stand in front of the both of them, blocking Leo's view of where the man had walked off to. She placed one had on the small of Leo's back, one on her belly. “Baby, are you okay?”
Leo blinked and let out a breath. “Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine.” She rolled out her neck. “He would just not back off, would he?”
Logan kissed her bicep. “I'm sorry, Le.”
Leo shook her head and turned to look down at her. She was smiling softly. “Don't be sorry, honey.” She wrapped an arm around Logan's waist and pulled their bodies together. “Besides, I've got my own sexy knights to protect me.”
“Mhm,” Finn agreed. She was smiling, too. “We've gotta protect the pretty princess.”
Leo blushed. “Shut up.”
“Non,” Logan said. She stood on her toes and tilted her chin up for a kiss. “The prettiest princess.”
Leo laughed against her mouth and touched their foreheads together, then hers and Finn's. “Thank you. I love you.”
“Anytime, any day, baby,” Finn said. She bit at Leo’s jaw playfully. “Gotta show everyone you're ours.” She took a step back and held onto Leo's hand, looking her up and down a few times. “You look like a fucking model, Jesus Christ.”
Leo laughed sheepishly and looked down to where her breasts sat against her body, larger than Finn and Logan's, and where the bottom of her stomach pushed out against her dress. “I'm not.”
“Oh-ho, you so are.” Finn stepped into her space and flicked the slit of Leo's dress out of the way to hold her thigh up with a firm hand, like a tango dancer. Leo stumbled a bit, but Finn held her knee tight against the waistband of her jumpsuit. “Look at the legs on you. Sexiest legs we've ever seen.”
“Si belle,” Logan agreed. She kissed along Leo's collarbone. “The most beautiful girl in the room.”
Leo made a pleased sound. Her teeth showed as she smiled and ran a hand through Finn's hair. “Could say the same thing about you two.”
Finn's grin was sharp. “Feel free.” She let go of Leo's leg with a pat. She ran a hand up Leo's thigh and butt a few times to settle on her waist. “You sure you're okay, gorgeous? You want to go home?”
Leo shook her head. “No. No, I'm okay.” She reached for her drink and took a big sip. Her eyes flashed somewhere off to the side and she smiled against the rim of her glass. “In fact, I think you should take me dancing.”
“Quoi?” Logan asked. She jerked her head around to look. Sure enough, the dance floor had been cleared for the evening, and there were a few people already dotting the scene as the DJ bounced along to the beat. Logan hadn't noticed the music change from the classical stuff being played since the start of the evening, too wrapped up in Leo.
Finn had noticed, too. “Oh, well in that case.” She took her own glass and then held Logan's out to her. “Grab your drink, Tremblay, our super model has demanded a dance.”
Leo rolled her eyes playfully. “I didn't demand anything. I politely suggested.”
Finn winked at her. “You can demand anything you want from me, night and day, you know that, gorgeous.” She held out her hand to Leo with a little bow of her head. “My sunshine baby.” She nodded to Logan with teasing eyes. “My grumpy lady. Let's get our boogie on, shall we?”
Leo and Logan laughed, Logan placing a hand low on Leo's back as Finn guided them to the dance floor. Once they got there, Logan got to watch as Finn spun Leo around and then held her back to chest, allowing for Leo to reach a hand out for Logan to take. They swayed together, Finn every now and then grinding over exaggeratedly against Leo to make her laugh. Logan had one hand still holding her drink, the other against where Leo's neck met her shoulder. She rubbed her thumb against Leo’s pulse point. Finn was watching them over Leo's shoulder with a pleased smile, singing along to the lyrics of the song. They both looked so good under the colorful lights, their eyes like sparkling jewels. Logan pressed herself closer, resting her chin just above the swell of Leo's breasts.
“I love you!” she shouted over the loud music.
Leo smiled and bent to kiss her, smile playful. “I love you.”
But that wasn't enough for Logan. “I love you!” she said loudly again.
Finn caught on with a wide smile. “I love you!”
“I love you, I love you, I love you. I love you!”
Their voices overlapped as they all said it loudly over one another at the same time, competing until they couldn't anymore and slumped together in a fit of giggles. One of Finn's hands came to stroke Logan's waist, and Logan felt so high and happy she didn't quite know what to do with herself. She settled with resting her cheek against the warm skin of Leo's chest. Leo dropped a kiss onto her head.
“I love you,” she whispered. “I love you, I love you, I love you.”
your writing is getting me through finals week 🙏🥹! That last fic was actually so cute I think it would be funny to see a boy who leo had “been with” in the past who maybe ended up at gryff university or something coming to one of the games with a sign and leo getting all flustered 😭. I’m a firm believer that leo had more situationships than just jack 🤮
This ended up being a very cute ask, so thank you! I am also a firm believer in showing how beautiful queer love can be in middle school/high school (like in Heartstopper). So meet someone who treated our Leo well, before Jack (ew) came into the picture and broke our sunshine's heart. But it's okay now- he's got two boyfriends who love him very, very much. <3
Keep the asks coming! All credits to @lumosinlove !!
“No way,” James laughed, mouthguard hanging out of his mouth and water bottle poised for a sip. “No fucking way! Nutty, you dog.”
Leo looked up from where he was in a butterfly stretch. “Huh? What do you mean?”
Sirius laughed at James’ waggling eyebrows. He jerked his chin to the glass. “You got an admirer there, nut.”
“Who?” Leo asked, confused expression on his face. “Is it Finn making faces again? Because I told him it distracts- oh.”
Across the ice a few rows up from the glass was a boy that looked like he was about Leo’s age with tan skin and dark, curly hair. He was in a Lions jersey, Leo’s own, and was holding a white sign above his forehead and smiling. Hi from NOLA! it said. We love #1! His friend beside him was laughing in his own Lions jersey.
Leo laughed and stood. He gestured to Layla, who was on the bench. “Layla, may you please pass me a puck and a sharpie?”
She nodded at him and bustled around for a puck and silver pen, handing them to him with a smile. “Do you know them?”
“Yeah, I went to school with one of them back home. I think he’s at Gryffindor University now, I saw it on his Instagram.” He wrote his signature with a smiley face and handed her back the pen. “Thanks, Layla. Be right back.”
She patted his head. “Off you go, nutter butter.”
James whistled at him while he skated away and Leo saw Finn lift his head up from where he had also been doing his warm-up stretches. Leo rolled his eyes playfully and made his way over to the glass. He smiled up and waved for the two boys to come down, and they hustled down the steps and stopped right in front of Leo.
“Enrique,” Leo greeted. “Long time no see. How are you?”
“‘Sup, Le,” Enrique answered.
He looked the same as he had when they were in middle and high school, a little gangly with bright white teeth and a sharp jawline. Leo remembered meeting him for the first time in 5th grade and being confused as to why his face flushed so hard. Flashbacks of tentative hand-holding and first kisses on an overnight school trip ran fondy through his mind. He remembered being young and unsure, and Enrique always being so gentle and kind.
Enrique seemed to be thinking the same thing, because he looked at Leo with a wide smile. “How’s the big show?”
“It’s good,” Leo said. He fiddled with the puck in his hand. “You studying at Gryff?”
“Yup! Math with a minor in anthropology.” He wrapped an arm around the boy beside him and noogied him in the head. “It’s how I met this history buff- we had a couple freshman classes together.” He lowered his arm to wrap gently around the boy’s waist and smiled up at him. “This is my boyfriend, Shan.”
Leo could feel his nose scrunching up with his smile. “Nice to meet you.”
“You, too,” Shan replied, a bit shyly. “It’s really cool to see you out here.”
Leo nodded. “Yeah, it feels good to be out here.” He tossed the puck up and down a few times in his fingers. “Hey, step back a little bit and put your hands up.”
Enrique did as told and deftly caught the puck that Leo tossed over the glass. Shan leaned over to look at it and read it as well, and they both looked up and smiled at him.
Suddenly, Leo felt a presence skate up to his side and watched both of their eyes widen. Leo bit his lip and turned to find Finn next to him. “Harz. This is Enrique and Shan.”
“Hello, lover,” Finn said, eyes twinkling. He looked over at the two boys. “Saw one of your friends had my jersey.” He smiled through the glass. “Hey, catch!”
Shan caught his own puck with a laugh. “Thanks, Harzy!”
Finn saluted. “No problem.” He wrapped an arm around Leo’s waist and squeezed gently. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to take my Leo here back to his goal so I can practice scoring on him.”
Leo nudged him gently. “Alright, alright.” He tapped a hand up to the glass. “It was good to see you, Enrique. You, too, Shan. Enjoy the game!”
“You, too!”
“Good luck!”
“Gentlemen,” Finn said, then tugged Leo to face him as the two boys went back to their seats. “Did you know them?”
Leo nodded. “Yeah, I went to school with Enrique.” He grinned down at Finn. “He was my first kiss on a middle school outdoor excursion trip.”
Finn froze for a second then broke out into a smile, his tongue sticking out a little. “Oh? And who kisses better?”
Leo snorted and tapped his helmet to Finn’s. “It was a first kiss, sweetheart. Nothing to write home about. And the boy he was with today is his boyfriend, they both go to college here.”
“Aw, that’s sweet.” Finn gave Leo a tap on the butt with his stick then snatched a puck. “Go get in goal, sunshine, I’ll shoot on you,” he said. As he skated towards the blue line, he turned around to look at Leo again. “Then we’ll go to home and FaceTime Lo while I kiss you stupid!”
Leo flushed at the chirps that got from their teammates, but smiled and narrowed his eyes as he turned to face Finn in his net.
Later, after they had a post-victory pasta dinner in their apartment, Leo was warm and flushed, pressed against the mattress by Finn’s body. Finn had called Logan with single-minded zeal, told him the story of warm-ups, and then had proceeded to kiss Leo into oblivion, Logan watching them eagerly from the iPad. Finn’s hands were all over Leo’s body and his lips somehow insistent and gentle. Leo felt like he was drowning and breathing clearly at the same time, caught in the whirlwind that was Finn’s focused attention. After what felt like hours, Finn pulled away, lips wet and red and hair a mess from Leo’s hands.
“So,” he began with a mischievous grin. “Who kisses better?”
Leo shook his head in amusement. “I told you, he was my first kiss. He’s probably way better at it now, and anyways, it’s not a competition.”
“Ouais, yes it is,” Logan said. He had his head resting on his hands and his green eyes were roaming up and down their bodies. “It’s always a competition. Allez, Le. Who’s better?”
“Guys, we were thirteen-”
“Leo.”
“I’m just saying, I’d feel weird comparing-”
But Finn interrupted him with a frustrated huff and bent to press his lips all over Leo’s neck and face. Leo laughed and wrapped his arms and legs around Finn’s body, head tilted up against the pillows and pliant. When Finn pulled away his face was serious but his eyes were twinkling. “You know there’s only one right answer, butter.”
Leo sighed and leaned up to kiss him. “You,” he said. He turned to smile at Logan, sated and content. “You, you, and you.”
Hi!! Youre writing Is everything!! Cant really stop! I have no idea how to use this app, I Guess this Is where we ask for ideas for you to write? Anyway Im obsessed with this trio, but very much would like to read about Leo/Regulus friendship, I think Leo would be such a good friend, great advices, so suportive and so mature, or maybe just being his 19 yo self... Thanks anyway ❤️
Oh, I LOVE a good Leo/Regulus friendship moment! In this story I wrote, they're a little older than 19. Maybe 21? 22? Right before Reg's senior year of college? But they're having fun fishing- I headcanon Leo as a HUGE fisherman. It just relaxes him, and he just loves to sit out on the water in the early morning with a cup of coffee, by himself or with QUIET company, and catch some bass. Or trout, maybe, but I see him more as a spin or sea fisherman than a fly fisherman. I think that's probably something he gets into in retirement, though, and I DEFINITELY think it's something that Logan and Finn just CANNOT get into (except for sea fishing; I think Logan likes it 'cause it's on the ocean, and Finn likes it because he can nap in the sun and he doesn't have to be AS quiet). Hence, Regulus makes the PERFECT fishing companion: he's chill, he's quiet, and he is DEFINITELY an early riser. Plus, Leo just loves to spend time with his best friend, he loves him so much. <3
All credits to @lumosinlove !!
P.S. Yes, this is where you all send me prompts for any ideas that you have that you want me write! It can be done anonymously or not, it's up to your discretion. And my asks are ALWAYS open, so I accept ideas at any time. Depending on how many prompts I have and how long it takes me to write each one (some are longer than others, like any AUs where I have to make a story base of my own, which is really fun!), I might not publish it for up to a month, but rest assured I am working on it!
Leo took in a deep breath of the cool morning air of the lake, letting his head fall back to absorb the warm sun. Beside him, Regulus was doing the same, fishing rod held loosely in his hand as he reeled in slowly. Leo followed suit, not wanting to let the line slack too much, and kept his eye on the bobber as it floated in the still water. There were no bugs this early, and the only sounds were the bird calls and the world waking up around them. Every now and then, the canoe rocked with the water, but other than that everything was still and calm.
“This is nice,” Regulus whispered. “Thanks for dragging me out of bed.”
Leo laughed quietly as he reeled in the last of his line, drawing his rod over his shoulder before flicking his wrist and sending the lure sailing to plop softly in the water again. “No problem.” He squeezed his rod in between his knees briefly before reaching into the cooler beside him and pulling out a bag. “Zucchini bread?”
“Please.”
Leo handed Regulus a piece and sat back for a moment, holding the bread in his mouth while he reeled in a bit, watching as the line uncurled on top of the water. He finished his piece, then took a sip of coffee from his thermos. “Honestly, feels good to get out of the city. I didn’t realize how lucky I was in New Orleans, having both the city and the water right there.”
“Mm,” Regulus hummed. He swallowed around his own sip of coffee. “I never went fishing before Lyall took me the summer of Sirius and Remus’ wedding.”
Leo looked carefully at Regulus, but he was as stoic as ever, eyes contemplatively looking out over the lake. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He cleared his throat. “It wasn’t- you know. My parents just cared about hockey.” He laughed a little humorlessly. “I don’t even think they cared about it that much, either. Just what it brought them.” His eyes looked down into his lap. “What Sirius and I brought them.”
Leo felt a twinge of sadness tug at his gut. “Reg…”
Regulus looked at him and smiled slightly. “It’s okay, Le. I’m better now.” He shrugged. “At least I get to do it now, I guess. For myself. Fishing is freedom, or something.”
Leo nodded. “Yeah,” he whispered. “Yeah, I guess it is.” He nudged Regulus’ knee with his own. “Still, I’m here if you- you know. Need to talk.”
Regulus nudged him back. “I know you are.” He settled back onto the little portable seat he’d put on the bench under him. “But honestly? I kind of like the quiet. Sirius might not seem like it, but he’s so loud and annoying sometimes. Both him and Remus, my God.”
Leo laughed, a little too loudly for the hour. He probably scared off some fish, but he didn’t care. “Honestly, I’m not surprised. Logan is the same way. He and Finn together at home are just- chaotic, sometimes. Lots of energy.”
Regulus snorted. “Finn has energy everywhere. Logan just feeds off him, I swear.” He gave Leo a once over. “You calm them down, though.”
That made Leo all warm inside. “Yeah. I guess I do.”
Regulus wrinkled his nose. “Get that look off your face, this is our time.” He turned back to the water. “You’re all so fucking gross.”
Leo rolled his eyes playfully. “Don’t pretend you don’t like hanging out with us. You and Logan are quite the team when we go to the bar, you know.” He reeled in the rest of his line. “I can’t believe you got him to do karaoke.”
Regulus bit back against a smile. “Well. He had a lot to drink.”
“Yeah, and who’s fault was that? Finn and I certainly didn’t order him that many rum and cokes. We know better.”
“What can I say? College has a bad influence on me.” He took another sip of his coffee and pointed a finger at Leo. “And your boyfriends were once frat boys, don’t you forget. They know how to have a good time.”
Leo smiled out at the water. “They do. They’re trouble.”
Regulus cast his rod again. “Are they upset I’ve stolen you?”
Leo considered this for a minute. “Not really. I think Finn is a bit- I don’t know, he can get kinda clingy at this point in the summer, right before Logan goes back to New York. But he’ll be okay.” Leo watched the bobber float on top of the water. “We talked about it before I left. We’re people outside of the fact that we’re dating, and you’re also leaving soon, so I need to spend time with you. I think he sometimes forgets that, because… well…”
Regulus smirked. “You’re his entire fucking world?”
Leo tisked and kicked Regulus’ foot. His face was warm. “Shut up.” He sighed. “I don’t know, I think it’s more that his social circle really is the Lions, or his brother, or his college friends. And they all play hockey. Which is fine.” He cast again. “And that circle also includes me and Logan. So it’s just what he’s used to. But I’ve got other friends, you know? And Logan has Luke, who is definitely, like, just his friend.”
Regulus looked at him with a furrowed brow. “Do you think- is that going to be, like, a problem for Finn?”
Leo shook his head. “No. I don’t think so. I mean, you’re friends with people who have similar interests as you, right? And he loves hockey- he would, even if he didn’t play.” He reeled in a bit. “I just think it sometimes limits his perspective. That, and the fact that he doesn’t really have to try to see his best friends, because they’re all together for hours every day. But we’re working on it.” He looked at Regulus, who was biting the inside of his cheek. “He’s happy I’m here, don’t worry. And I’m happy to be here. This fishing weekend is for us, not for boyfriends.”
That made Regulus snort. “How about I tell them you said that?”
“Oh, don’t, please. Finn will put on his pout, and Logan will just stare at me, and then- I just…”
“Can’t resist them?”
Leo sighed in defeat. “No. They’re pretty convincing. And pretty pretty.”
“Ew.”
“Ha-ha.” He flashed his eyes at Regulus and winked. “Don’t worry, Reg, you’re pretty, too.”
Regulus fake gagged. “Oh my God, that’s so gross. You’re so gross.”
“I love you, too.”
Then, suddenly, Regulus’ rod bent so far it curved over the edge of the boat.
“Holy shit!” Regulus exclaimed. He sat up straighter, bracing his core. He jerked the rob up, hooking the line, and began to reel. “Shit, fuck, Le, this is a big one.”
Leo reeled his own rod in and set it aside, reaching for the net they brought. “You got it, c’mon. Is it hooked well?”
“Yup.”
“Okay.” Leo turned around, leaning carefully over to see where Regulus had reeled the fish in close to the side of the boat. He laughed. “Holy shit, Reg.”
“What?”
“Fucking pig, look at it!” Leo reached down with the net. “Reel just a bit more- there!” He brought the net up, Regulus and him wearing matching goofy grins. “Look at her.”
Regulus laughed, reaching into the net to gently take the hook out of the fish’s mouth, and held it up. It was the length of his forearm, and fat. “Big ass bass.”
“Bitch ass bass, as Finn would say.” Leo slapped Reg’s shoulder. “Holy fuck, lemme get a picture.”
Regulus posed with a smile, cheeks red from the exertion of reeling in the fish. It was calm in his gentle hands. Leo took a few pictures, then set his phone back in the waterproof bag.
“Good?” Regulus asked.
“Fucking awesome.” Leo leaned in to look at the bass a bit closer. “Look at the gorgeous color on her. Well fucking done.”
“Merci.” Regulus carefully moved over to the edge of the boat and leaned over, setting the fish in the water. “Bye, fishy.”
They watched it squirm away until it blended with the dark color of the lake. Regulus sat back, satisfied, and picked up his rod again.
“Well,” he said. “Time to catch another one.” He raised his eyebrows challengingly at Leo. “See who gets the most before lunch?”
Leo grinned widely. “You’re so fucking on.”
Then they both cast at the same time, their lures flashing in the brightening sun before rippling in the water.
Really really soft for the idea that Leo’s insomnia is so much better when he sleeps with Finn and Logan, that he is able to rest easier when with the loves of his life🥹 thinkin about him coming back from a visit to NOLA and being so exhausted because he struggles to sleep without them
Poor insomniac sunshine. :( It's all okay now, though, he's got two boyfriends who will happily rock him to sleep.

Logan woke up with a start, heart beating fast from a dream, taking a deep breath in the dark bedroom. He glanced at the clock. Two thirty in the morning.
He stretched, suddenly wide awake and alert, pushing his hands against the headboard. Finn was fast asleep beside him, rolled over on his other side but with their ankles tangled. Logan brushed a hand through his hair before raising himself on his forearm.
Logan didn't know why he was awake. He listened carefully, but there were no distinct or disruptive sounds that would have aroused him. He frowned. Normally, he wasn't awake in the middle of the night. The only time he did ever wake up was-
Oh.
He shifted quietly, careful not to wake Finn as he reached for his cell phone on their nightstand. The screen saver, a photo of the three of them on Leo's boat in New Orleans, shone back at him. He unlocked it and opened his messages.
You awake? he typed.
The response was almost immediate. Yes. How did you know?
Logan sighed, pressing a kiss to Finn's shoulder before pulling back the covers and heading to the living room. Leo picked up on the third ring.
“Hi.” His voice sounded tired, even through the phone.
“Salut, soleil,” Logan whispered. “Ça va?”
“How did you know?”
“I always know.” A beat of silence. “Can't sleep, mon coeur?”
Leo took a shaky breath. “No. I'm exhausted from the last few days, so I tried to go to bed at eight, but… here I am.”
Logan furrowed his brow. “And you haven't slept?”
“No,” Leo said. It sounded almost tearful. “Lo, I'm so tired.”
Logan's heart broke a little bit. Now that he and his cousins were all of legal drinking age, Leo went with them to the summer New Orleans Jazz Festival. They only bought tickets for two days, but Logan was sure that those two days involved a lot of late nights and probably some alcohol, if the slurry, loving voice mails Finn and Logan had received were anything to go by. Otherwise, they hadn't received much contact, Leo too wrapped up in the music and his family. Logan was glad Leo was having a good time, but he imagined it wasn't good for his sleep, which was already so difficult for him.
“Are you making tea? That usually helps.”
“Yeah,” Leo said. “I'm sat in bed with it right now.”
“Good.” Logan thumbed at Leo's golden chain that hung around his neck. He and Finn had been alternating wearing it. “Do you have my necklace?”
“Ouais, I'm holding the pendant right now.”
“I'm so sorry, mon soleil,” Logan sighed. “I'm so sorry it's so hard.”
“It's because I'm not with you,” Leo said in a rush. “It's because the bed is too empty, and you're not here to rub my back, and you're not here to kiss my forehead.” A shaky sigh. “I really miss you. I've had so much fun, and I love seeing my cousins and parents, but I miss you.”
“I miss you, too, Le. We both do.” Logan thought for a moment. “How about you lay down, mon coeur? I'll talk to you until you fall asleep. Tell you about our day.”
He could imagine Leo's nod and his sleepy blue eyes. “Okay. Thank you.” There was some rustling, and then the sound of a yawn. “I love you.”
Logan smiled softly. He wished Leo could see. “Je t'aime.” He let Leo get comfy, then started his story. “Fish and I saw a really cute dog today that reminded us of you…”
Later, after Logan ended the call when Leo's breathing had evened out for a good ten minutes, he snuck back into bed, pressing against Finn's body under the covers. Finn shifted, inhaling deeply before opening his eyes just a smidge. “You okay?”
Logan nodded against his shoulder. “Ouais. I called Leo. He couldn't sleep.”
Finn hummed, rubbing circles on Logan's back with his thumbs. “You called him?”
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. “I woke up suddenly, and realized it was because usually Leo wakes up around that time. So I texted him, and he was awake, so I called him.” He sighed heavily. “He's had trouble sleeping without us. He's so tired, rouge.”
“Well,” Finn said. “I can't say I like the feeling of an emptier bed without him here, either.” He pressed a kiss to Logan's temple. “Let's go back to sleep, baby. Leo comes home tomorrow evening.”
Logan nodded into his chest and took a deep breath. Finn's body was warm and comfortable, but Logan would be lying if he said his back didn't feel just a bit cold.
***
Leo's flight had been delayed, which Logan was not a fan of. He knew southern storms were sometimes unpredictable and sudden, but he was still angry that the heavy rains had prevented the arrival of his sunshine. They had plans to go to the Dumais’ for dinner, which Leo insisted they kept- Logan was also not a fan of that, but Leo assured him it'd be fine, and that he'd probably get in later anyways. He and Finn had enjoyed themselves as always, and seeing the kids was always nice, but Logan could feel his anxiety increasing with every bounce of his leg under the dinner table. Finn had spent the whole meal with a hand on Logan's thigh, but it did nothing to quell the movement.
Now, it was close to midnight, and still Leo had not gotten in. Logan and Finn had insisted he tell them when he'd landed so they could go pick him up, but he hadn't even taken off when they last texted him, the plane grounded until the rain passed, and that was hours ago. Now, Finn was sat on the living room couch with a book and Logan was pacing around the apartment.
“Do you think he's okay?” Logan asked.
Finn sighed, setting his book down and looking at Logan over his glasses. “I'm sure he's fine, Lo. These things just happen sometimes.”
Logan tapped his fingers against his chin. “Ouais, but we haven't heard from him in hours. He must have-”
But he was interrupted by the scratch of keys at the door. He straightened, rushing forward, and Finn sprung up from the couch. Logan could feel them both holding their breath.
The first thing that Logan noticed when Leo entered their apartment was the slouch of his shoulders, weighed down even though he had a rolling suitcase. Next was the purse of his lips, and finally-
“Oh, mon soleil,” Logan said. Leo looked up at him, and he walked forward to brush his thumbs on the skin under Leo's eyes, more puffy and purple than he'd ever seen it. “Mon coeur.”
Leo just ducked down, resting his full body weight in Logan's arms as he wrapped him in a hug. Logan squeezed him tightly, bracing his legs, and pressed kiss after kiss to the side of Leo's head. His back was rising and falling heavily under Logan’s palms with his breathing. Logan could feel his heart breaking again.
“Baby,” Finn said. Logan and Leo pulled back just enough to allow Finn into their arms. Finn cupped his jaw and pressed a soft kiss to his mouth. “You're so tired.”
Leo nodded, closing his eyes. “I slept, like, four hours last night. And then went to brunch with my parents and cousins, which was fine, but then my flight got delayed, then delayed again, and I figured you would be in bed, and I-” He bit his lip, eyes welling with exhausted tears. “And I can't sleep on planes, and I haven't slept much the past few days, and…”
Finn shushed him, tucking Leo's face into his neck with a palm resting against the back of his curls. “Sh, it's okay, baby. You're home now.”
“Why didn't you call us?” Logan asked. “We would've come to get you.”
Leo shrugged. “I didn't want to bother you. Figured you'd already be asleep.”
Logan kissed him. “Not without you.”
Leo nodded. “I'm sorry.”
Finn pressed his lips to Leo's cheek. “Don't be sorry, sweetheart.” He guided Leo's face to look at him. “How about you take a shower, okay? I'll set the AC to cold so you can huddle under the blankets like you like to do, then we'll snuggle and go to sleep. Sound good?”
“Yeah.” Leo's voice was defeated. “Thank you. I love you.”
“Je t'aime, mon coeur,” Logan said, resting his head on Leo's collarbone. “Allez, let's go shower.”
Logan took Leo to the bathroom while Finn set the AC, slipping Leo gently out of his clothes and kissing the new skin revealed reverently. He guided Leo underneath the spray. “Want to wash your hair?”
Leo shook his head. “Washed it yesterday.”
“D'accord.” Logan kissed his jaw. “Lean back for me.”
Careful not to get Leo's curls wet, Logan began to wash his body. Finn joined them, stepping behind Leo to hold him, only letting go to let Logan wash him, too. When they were all finished, clean and smelling like soap, Logan handed Leo his face creams and a toothbrush with paste on it.
“Allez, soleil,” he said. “Almost there, mon coeur.”
When Leo was finally done moisturizing and rinsing his mouth, Finn took him by the hips and urged him into their bedroom, pressing periodic kisses to his spine.
“Still the prettiest baby,” he said. “Even when you're tired.”
Leo hummed, smiling as Finn turned him and settled him on the bed. Logan and Finn climbed on either side of him, Finn spooning him from behind and Logan tucked underneath his chin. They pulled the blankets up, covering Leo up to his neck, and he burrowed down under them.
“No alarm in the morning, sunshine.” Finn peppered his neck in kisses. “Sleep as long as you want.”
Leo hummed. “Love you.”
“Love you,” Finn whispered. He reached across to thumb Logan's cheek. “Love you.”
Logan kissed his palm, whispered it back, then whispered the phrase into the skin of Leo’s neck. He rubbed up and down Leo's ribs until his breathing evened out, then kissed his forehead softly. He closed his eyes and leaned into the warmth. Finally, the bed was full enough where they could all get some rest.

Honestly, this is pretty much my inbox. 😂
Hi! I just read your last prompt (Leo feeling insecure about his age) and I really liked the idea of him having friends from college (like Amanda). Would love to read more about him and that friend group if you ever feel the inspiration strike!
This was so much fun to write! A little goofy, a little silly, very innocent college fun! There is alcohol consumption, but it is safe, and everyone is mindful.

“No, no, Regulus, it’s gonna-”
Regulus let out a loud laugh as the coke ran over the red plastic cup and onto his hand. “Oh no!”
Leo giggled, shaking his head fondly. “You’re so fucking drunk.”
“Sh, don’t tell my brother. He’s so grumpy.”
“He’s not grumpy.”
“Is to!”
“He’s not even here, he’s in Gryff. And what are we, five?”
“Ouais, Leo, allez, I need help!”
Leo sighed, setting his own solo cup down on the sand to take the bottle of coke from Regulus and twist the top closed. He then took the rum and coke and held it gently to Regulus’ mouth. “Just a little sip off the top, okay? So it doesn’t spill.”
With comically wide eyes and flushed red cheeks, Regulus gingerly drank, confidently taking the cup from Leo when the liquid sank down further and further away from the rim. “Merci.”
Leo patted his back softly. “Any time.” He looked around the beach. “Where are the others?”
Regulus shrugged. “I don’t know. Swimming, I guess?”
Leo sat up suddenly. “Are they drunk?”
“Non, non,” Regulus said, waving his hand. “I am. They aren’t. They only had a drink each, I made sure of it.”
Leo narrowed his eyes. “Are you sure?”
Regulus’ eyeroll could only be called impressive. “Ouais. I made sure, then I drank enough for each of them.”
That made Leo snort. “You sure fucking did.”
Regulus made a noise, then took another sip of his drink. When he pulled his hand back, he looked contemplative. He smiled at Leo softly. “I’m glad you’re here.”
Leo raised his eyebrows in amusement. “Well, I kind of have to be. It’s my boyfriend’s Hamptons house.”
“Non, non, not that,” Regulus said. “Mais, ouais, that, but also…” He glanced up at the stars, bright in the cool May air. His eyes lit up and he pointed. “Allez, look,” he said with a wide smile. “The Leo constellation.”
Leo turned his gaze upwards. He grinned at the cluster of stars. He could imagine the mane, the tail, the claws. “Would you look at that.”
A head thumped on his shoulder. “I’m just really glad we’re friends, Le.”
Leo rested his head against Regulus’. “Me, too.”
“Thanks for being my first friend when I first got to Gryff. My first real friend.”
“Thanks for being mine.”
Regulus sat up and scoffed at him. “I was not.”
Leo shrugged. “You kind of were.”
“Finn and Logan were your first friends.”
“They’re my boyfriends, they don’t count.”
“Let me tell them that, see what they think.”
Leo laughed. “I just mean… I don’t know, they were my first friends, yeah. But then they were- are- my boyfriends, and the loves of my life. And the rest of the team were also my friends in the beginning, but…”
Regulus nudged him with a kind elbow. “But what?”
Leo bit the inside of his cheek. “You were my first- normal friend, I guess.”
“Oh, so I’m just ‘normal’, am I?”
Leo wrapped an arm around him and jostled him. “I never said you were boring, shut up. You were just my first friend outside of hockey. Like, did you play it? Yes. Does your brother? Yes. But you don’t play it anymore, and you live this-” He raised his fingers in air quotes. “‘-normal’ life. You go to college and stuff.”
“‘College and stuff’, the fuck does that mean?”
“It means exactly what I said it means, you weirdo,” Leo retorted, scuffing Regulus in the back of the head. “I’m trying to tell you I appreciate you.”
“Sorry, sorry.” Regulus clumsily patted Leo’s back in consolation. “But I get it.”
“I know you do.” Leo looked back up at the constellation for a moment and sighed. “Thank you. For introducing me to your NYU friends.”
There was a pause. Regulus leaned his head back on Leo’s shoulder. “They’re yours, now, too, Le.”
As if on cue, a body crashed into them from behind, an arm thrown around each of their shoulders. “You’ll never guess what just happened to me!” Amanda whispered excitedly in their ears.
Leo leaned back slightly and turned to face her. “Oh? What happened?”
She came around in front of them and flopped dramatically on the blanket. “She smiled at me!”
Regulus’ eyes rolled so far back Leo swore he saw his own skull. “Seriously? This again? You’re absolutely pathetic, you know that?”
Amanda pushed herself up onto her elbows and pointed her finger at him with a scowl. “And you are homophobic.”
Regulus looked unimpressed. “That is not true. You are the one who’s been pining after a girl for two years, and we’ve finally become friends with her and you still do nothing!”
John appeared from behind them and sat down beside Amanda. “It’s true. Aadhya is just being friendly and you are the one that’s blushing and stammering. Pull yourself together, man.”
“But she’s gorgeous!”
John just bonked his head on his own knees with a groan.
Leo smiled, shifting to sit up slightly and looking down at Amanda’s still blissed-out face. “Have you tried just telling her you like her?”
Amanda looked at him with wide eyes. “That’s so scary, absolutely not.” She crossed her arms petulantly. “I can sit in my own sapphic misery, thanks.”
Leo rolled his eyes playfully. “No you’re not.”
“I so am.” She looked out to where Aadhya was still talking with Harper and their other friend Ezekiel by the shore. “I just don’t want to be rejected, you know? My last relationship didn’t end so well.”
Leo smiled sadly. “I know a thing or two about that.” When her eyes darted to him, he bit his lip and continued. “But you can’t let that stop you from looking for love again. Even if it’s scary.”
“Yeah, says the guy with two boyfriends.” She winced at her accidentally bitter tone. “I’m sorry, that was uncalled for.”
“It’s alright.” Leo thought for a second, then a mischievous grin took over his face. He looked to Regulus. “You know…”
Regulus sat up straight, looking cautiously back at him. “What? Knut, what is going on in your head?”
Leo waggled his eyebrows at him, then turned back to Amanda and John. “Finn’s house has a lot of bedrooms. The boys and I are in his old one, but there’s his parent’s bedroom, Alex’s room, and a guest room.”
John looked to their friends still by the ocean, then back at him, a wicked smile on his face. “Are you saying…?”
“Oh, I’m definitely saying that.”
Amanda pushed herself into a sitting position. She looked determined. “I am not just going to have sex with her.”
Leo shook his head. “I’m not saying that.” He patted her knee. “I’m actually advocating that that not be the goal, however fine it would be if it happened.” At her playful glare, he laughed and continued. “I’m just saying it’d be a private place for you two to talk! You guys can have a room, Harper and Regulus can have one, and John and Ezekiel.”
Regulus nodded along. “Yeah, and if it goes to shit, you can just come to ours.”
Amanda considered this for a minute. Her brow was furrowed in anxiety, but she was resolute when she met Leo’s eyes. “Okay. Okay, yeah, let’s do that. I’ll talk to her.”
“Oh, thank God!” John said. “Fucking finally, I don’t know how much more I could’ve taken.”
Amanda smacked him on the arm. “Shut up.” She turned back to Leo with a grateful smile. “Thank you, Leo.”
Leo smiled widely. “Anytime.” He reached behind him for the rum bottle and a stack of cups. “Now, I don’t know about you, but I need to let loose, and we don’t have to drive tonight because my boyfriend’s house is right there. So I’m having a fucking drink. Who wants one?”
***
“Leo, I have to pee, I have to pee!”
“Me, too! I’ve gotta shower, my boyfriends won’t let me sleep in the bed if I don’t!”
“Then let me go first!”
“Sh, okay, fine, hurry up, hurry up.”
Leo bounced on his toes anxiously outside the bathroom while he waited for Regulus to empty his bladder. He could hear John and Ezekiel talking lowly with Harper in one of the other bedrooms. Amanda and Aadhya’s room was fairly quiet, but they had gone in ages ago and nobody had come out yet. Leo took that as a good sign.
The door to the bathroom clicked open and Regulus slipped out, toothbrush hanging from his mouth. “M’kay, ‘oo goh’uh go.”
Leo furrowed his eyebrows. “Don’t you have to spit?”
“Ou’ ‘uh ‘indow.”
Leo just stared for a moment. “I- okay, wow, okay. Sure, spit it out the window, that’s fine.”
Regulus just leaned in and hugged him. He smelled like mint and sweat. “‘Uv ‘oo. G’ight.”
Leo smiled. “Love you, too. See you in the morning.”
Regulus squeezed him one more time before staggering tiredly towards his bedroom. Leo shook his head fondly as he entered the bathroom. He caught himself humming and smiled at his reflection. He looked happy, young, tipsy- free, he realized. Leo liked that look on himself.
His vision was a little fuzzy in the shower, and he maybe dropped the soap too many times and almost choked on his toothbrush, but he managed to stumble his way out clean and (hopefully) smelling better than he had fifteen minutes ago. When he opened the door to Finn’s bedroom, he found both of his boyfriends snuggled up shirtless under the covers, each of them dead asleep. He tiptoed his way through pulling his boxers on before standing to take a look at them with his head tilted. Logan’s head was tucked under Finn’s chin like it normally was. His hair was a bit of a mess, but it looked adorable on him. Finn always looked so good when he slept, all sharp features and freckles shining in the moonlight. Leo giggled to himself. Two. He had two boyfriends.
His laughter must have woken them up, because their bodies started stirring. Finn lifted his head up and stared for a second before he broke out into a smile. “Hi, baby,” he whispered. His voice was rough and low with sleep. “Have fun?”
Leo felt giddy. “I have friends.”
“Oh? Good, baby, I want you to have friends.”
Leo nodded eagerly as he knelt on the end of the bed. “Uh huh.” He shimmied a little to sit back on his heels, gazing at them excitedly. “And I have boyfriends.”
That made Logan laugh, low and happy in the dark room. “Ouais, you do.” He didn’t bring his head up, but he reached around to pat the empty mattress behind him. “Ici, soleil.”
Finn opened his arm. “C’mere, baby.”
Leo complied, snuggling against Logan’s back and leaning into the hand Finn settled in the dip of his waist. He sighed into Logan’s hair. It was so warm here. “It’s so warm here.”
“Good.” Finn’s hand came up briefly to scratch through his hair. “Everyone in the house okay?”
Leo nodded. “Ouais.” He smiled and buried his face in Logan’s shoulder. “Amanda and Aadhya are in a room together. Doing lesbian things.”
Finn snorted. “Lesbian things?”
“Well, hopefully doing lesbian things. That’s the goal. That they do lesbian things.”
Finn and Logan’s giggled were muffled into the pillows. Logan tangled their ankles together. “And did you help them do those lesbian things?”
“What? Ew, no.” Leo wrinkled his nose. “I don’t like lesbian things, but they do. Well, Amanda’s bi, so she likes both lesbian and not-lesbian things I guess, but that’s just technicalities.” He settled further against the mattress. “The point is, I just provided them the place to do those lesbian things, if they so choose. Which, again I hope they do. They’re just talking first, though.”
Finn ran a hand up and down his ribs. “Well, I’m glad that they’re hopefully doing lesbian things.” He pinched Leo’s hip. “You’re chatty when you’re drunk.”
“I’m not drunk. I’m tipsy.”
“Sorry, my bad. You’re chatty when you’re tipsy.”
“I’m just excited. I’ve got friends. And boyfriends.” He wrapped his arms tighter around Logan’s waist and kissed his upper back. “Have I mentioned how excited I am to have boyfriends?”
“Ouais, once or twice.” Leo could imagine Logan’s smile. “We’re excited to have boyfriends, too.”
“Mm, good.” Leo nuzzled into Logan’s neck. “One day I want us to be not-boyfriends, though.”
Finn made a confused noise. “Huh? Sunshine, that’s not an option.”
“Uh, yeah, it is.” Leo propped himself up on one elbow to stare down at them. They looked confused, and slightly panicked, so he smiled. “I want us to be not-boyfriends. Husbands, silly.”
Logan’s expression morphed into one of pure joy. “Ouais,” he whispered, his smile all teeth. “Ouais, husbands sounds good.”
Finn winced. “Yeah, but let’s not call it ‘not-boyfriends’, okay? That’ll just confuse me. Emotionally.”
Leo cocked his head. “But then we wouldn’t be boyfriends. We’d be husbands, Fish.” He reached out to squish Finn’s cheeks. “Fishy fishy Fish. Huh, you’re not actually that squishable.”
Logan rolled onto his back and pressed his palms to the side of Leo’s round face, applying pressure. “But you are.” He drew Leo down to look him in the eyes. “And when I make you my husbands, you’ll still be my boyfriends.”
“Yeah, sunshine,” Finn agreed. “It’s a three-for-one deal sort of situation. When we get married, we are boyfriends, fiancés, and husbands all in one. Times three, for each of us.” He looked to Logan. “Yeah, so really, nine-in-one.”
Logan nodded in agreement. “Ouais, that’s right.” He looked back to Leo. “C’est bon?”
Leo smiled. “Oui.” He leaned down to kiss each of them, a little sloppy in his tipsy state, but they melted back into the pillows for it nonetheless. “I love you.”
“We love you so much, Le, baby.” Finn scooched back and rested a palm on the space in between himself and Logan. “Come lay down, sweetheart, it’s bed time.”
Leo made a happy sound and flopped in between them, a little heavily, if their grunts and laughs when he hit the mattress were anything to go by. “I’ve got two boyfriends,” he sighed contentedly.
Logan ran blunt nails up and down his back. “Ouais.” He kissed Leo’s curls at the same time Finn kissed Leo’s forehead. “Now, go to sleep, mon coeur. We’ll order breakfast in the morning.”
“Yay,” Leo whispered, halfway asleep. “Love you.”
“Love you,” Finn replied softly. “Love you, love you, love you.”
just anything fluffy and domestic pls I just wanna see our boys happy 🥹🥹
Every time I write "husbandS" my computer wants to correct it to "husbanD", which is SEVERLY homophobic, my goodness. Like, Finn has two husbands, okay, Microsoft? So do Leo and Logan. They're a package deal. Golly gee.

Finn turned his face into Logan's bicep and brushed his lips gently against the warm skin. Logan hummed into his hair and stroked his arm from where it was wrapped around him. The beach was peaceful in the late summer evening, only a few other people dotting the quiet Mediterranean seaside. They had spent all morning in Logan's maman's family home, Leo cooking an incredible lunch with some fresh vegetables and chicken from the market. The white wine had been sweet on Finn's tongue, then Logan's as they'd kissed while watching Leo bustle around the stove. A satiating morning had turned into a scorching afternoon, which Leo had happily declared called for a beach day. He had been so gorgeous and giddy as they'd set down their stuff on the sand, immediately running into the waves as soon as Finn had finished rubbing sunscreen on his back. Finn and Logan had followed, and Finn had taken every opportunity to toss his boys around in the ocean, for nothing else but to see their smiles and hear their beautiful, tinkly laughs.
Now, though, Finn was sleepy, snuggled against Logan on their beach blanket. It was warm with both of their body heat, but neither of them minded. Finn, in fact, never wanted to be any further from Logan than this.
He opened a tired eye and lifted his head to glance at the ocean. The sunset was golden and orange, a sharp contrast to the bright blue water. If he squinted hard enough, though, he could distinguish a wheat-colored head bobbing out in the sea. He smiled and pinched Logan’s hip. Logan’s chest shifted under his head.
“Quoi?” Logan's voice was gravelly from disuse.
“Look. Out in the ocean.”
Finn felt Logan’s neck strain for a moment and then his chest shook with a laugh. “We are never getting him out of there, are we?”
“I know,” Finn said, shaking his head fondly. “He's like our own little water bug.”
“A very handsome water bug.”
“Oh, for sure, baby.” Finn sighed and snuggled further into Logan's chest. “I like it here.”
Logan smiled down at him. “Ouais?”
“Uh huh.” Another sigh. “It's very peaceful.”
“Mm.” Logan kissed his forehead. “You're so beautiful here. Le, too.”
Finn smiled into Logan's skin. “Yeah?”
“Ouais.” Logan made a content noise. “Si beaux.”
Finn closed his eyes once more, weighed down by the hot air and Logan's warm body. He felt calm, breathing even and measured. Logan would every now and then place a kiss on Finn's head or scratch his hand through Finn's hair. It was soothing, relaxing, a nice break from the constant chaos of the hockey season. It was easier, now that Logan was back in Gryffindor, but Finn still sometimes felt that they barely saw each other during the week. He felt so grateful for the almost three months of rest he could sing.
Finn didn't know how long he and Logan had been laying there, but after a time he felt the ground rumble slightly underneath him, and opened his eyes to find Leo staring down adoringly at them both. He smiled. “Hi, butter baby. Having fun?”
“Mm hm,” Leo said. He reached for a towel to dry himself off. “Good nap?”
“Ouais,” Logan replied. He patted the blanket on his other side. “Ici, soleil.”
“I'm gonna get you all wet, honey.”
“Non, lay your towel down on top of the blanket.” He looked up at Leo through his lashes, and Finn grinned into his skin. Logan's eyelashes were long and thick, and he got anything he wanted when he looked at them like that. “I want to snuggle.”
Leo sighed. “Only you want to snuggle when it's boiling outside.”
Finn shrugged. “You'll cool us down, sweetheart.”
“Allez,” Logan said insistently. “Leo.”
Leo shook his head fondly but walked around to the other side of them, laying his towel down carefully on top of the blanket. Finn felt the vibrations in Logan's body when Leo laid his head on his chest and reached across to gently rub Leo’s torso. He was tan, both of his husbands were, a bit softer now that they weren't in the playoffs. Finn liked to imagine a day when they were all a bit softer; they'd always be athletic and always be strong, but he dreamed of kissing their soft bellies as much as he currently loved to dig his teeth into their defined abs. He breathed heavily into Logan's chest and burrowed himself in closer.
“Rouge?” Logan asked softly. “You okay?”
Finn nodded. “I just really love you.” He kissed Logan's warm skin. “I want to stay here forever.”
“That sounds good to me,” Leo agreed gently. He bumped his forehead against Finn's where they were both laying on Logan. “Hey, wanna get married again? Right here, right now?”
That made Logan and Finn laugh. “That sounds like something I would say, baby,” Finn said.
Leo shrugged, blue eyes bright and playful. “What can I say? You rubbed off on me.” He shifted to prop himself up on an elbow and turned slightly sideways, chin against Logan’s chest. “So, what do you think? Marry me again?”
Finn couldn't help the shameless grin that spread over his face. “Anytime you want, baby.”
“Oui,” Logan whispered. He wrapped an arm around Leo's shoulders to bring him into a kiss. He didn't let them separate, pressing their temples together with their eyes closed. “I'll marry you a thousand times, mon coeur. I'll marry you forever.”
They looked so beautiful in the sunset, all tucked together and close, that it stole Finn's breath. “I love forever,” he said. He leaned over to kiss each of them, now sprawled across Logan's chest. “I'll take all the forevers with you.”
Leo scrunched his nose around his grin. “That doesn't sound so bad.”
Finn snorted. “‘Not so bad’, he says.” He shifted to look at Leo directly, nose to nose. “I'll have you know that they call me Heartthrob O'Hara for a reason. I could have a line of suitors and I'd still choose you forever.”
“Non, no suitors,” Logan said grumpily, squeezing Finn around his waist. “Just us.”
Leo laughed and stroked Finn's hair back from his face. “You act as though you belong with anyone else but us.” He kissed Finn's nose. “You, Heartthrob O'Hara, are ours in every lifetime. No take-backs.”
Finn knew he was smiling dopily, but he didn't really care. “All yours, lovers.”
“Maris.”
“Huh?”
“Husbands,” Leo translated.
Finn's heart gave a brief jolt. “Yeah,” he said softly. “Husbands.” A giddy feeling spread up through his chest, and he pushed himself up on a forearm to kiss each of them hard, smiling the whole time. “You're my husbands.” He laughed. “Oh my God, you're my husbands.”
Logan and Leo laughed along with him, each with a hand on his back. Their laughter grew and grew until they were shaking with it, the French sunset disappearing on the horizon. Finn stood up in the dimming light and held both his hands out to them.
“C'mon,” he said. “I've got a date with two hot men and a bottle of wine.”
Logan and Leo placed a hand in each of his and stood, too, gathering their towels and blanket into the bags they brought. Finn looped his arm through Leo's and laced the fingers of his other hand with Logan's. Leo rolled his eyes playfully, claiming he was “pulling a Logan” by not carrying anything. Finn just kissed his cheek with a wink and told him he'd make it up to him later.
Together, Finn and his husbands walked up the road back to the Tremblay's house, shivering slightly in the cooling evening air. When they got to the front steps, Finn kissed them both lightly then held open the door. As they walked through, each pressing a hand to his waist in thanks, he had the same feeling he had on the dazzling French beach: calm, peaceful, and irrevocably in love. He smiled and closed the door behind them.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE all your prompts! Please keep sending them, and I will do my best to get to them when I can. I feel honored to be the voice you trust with your thoughts and ideas. :)
This was something I wrote ages ago, so I figured I'd post it. It also happens to have some of my favorite dialogue of the boys that I've ever written.
TW for discussion of nefarious activities. Nobody actually participates in them, but there is a healthy discussion about them, which should ALWAYS be happening in relationships where nefarious activities are participated in, regardless of how long the people have been together.

The world was full of people that loved Logan Tremblay. Finn and Leo included. Finn and Leo especially, in Finn’s expert opinion. But that did not mean other people didn’t, particularly fans.
Like the ones by the glass that were being shown on the jumbotron.
A group of what looked like young adults were standing there with signs, saying things like Hey, hot (head) Tremblay, can I get a puck?; #71, nice lettuce! Can I have your haircare routine?; and Finn’s personal favorite: Remember me? Harvard Halloween party 2016?
Maybe, Finn thought, squinting at the screen, a few too many people loved Logan Tremblay.
The boy holding the final sign had wavy red hair and blue eyes, and looked strong underneath his Rangers jersey. It confused Finn slightly- Logan had never mentioned picking up boys in college before, and Finn was one-hundred percent sure it had never happened. Mostly.
Logan would’ve told him. Right?
He nudged Leo, who was sat beside him in the players box. The Lions had gotten knocked out in the previous round, and Finn had taken some personal days off from school so they could both come and support Logan as he and the Rangers made (another) run for the Cup. Alex had retired at the end of last season when they had made it to the Stanley Cups Finals and won, going out on a high. It had been a tough and physical 7-game series, with both him and Logan walking away with cuts all over their hands and cheeks, but a silver trophy nonetheless.
Honestly, it was almost annoying how often they made it deep into the playoffs. Finn, two years into his retirement and in his first year of teaching, still couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous.
Leo turned to him, ginger ale can raised to his mouth. He swallowed. “What is it, sweetheart?”
Finn nudged his chin. “Look at the folks on the jumbotron.”
Leo did, squinted to read, then grinned a little amusedly. “You jealous?”
Finn scoffed. “No.” He paused. “A little. I don’t know, I’m mostly confused.” He took Leo’s hand, stroking his wedding band and engagement ring. “He just- he never mentioned hooking up with any boys in college. In the year we were apart.”
Leo’s brow furrowed. “Okay. But does it matter?”
Finn shook his head hard. “No. God, of course not, not in that way. It’s just-” He sucked through his teeth. “He was so afraid of not being- straight. He couldn’t even break those walls down for me then, and…” He rolled his eyes. “This is stupid.”
Leo reach up to brush his cheek. “No, it’s not stupid. Tell me.”
Finn played with Leo’s fingers, looking down. “He couldn’t break those walls down for me, even though he loved me. I just don’t understand how he could-” He paused, breath hitching, then moved his eyes upward. Leo was staring at him in his careful way, listening. He was so good at listening. “I just don’t understand how he could break those walls down for somebody else, for another guy, if he couldn’t do it for me.”
“Oh sweetheart,” Leo whispered. “Maybe…” Leo paused, obviously considering his next words carefully. Finn nudged him. “Maybe he did it with them because he didn’t have to break down walls for them. If it was just one time.” He put his pointer finger under Finn’s chin to kiss him. “He loved you so much. Loves you so much. So do I. Sometimes those feelings are so overwhelming- those walls he had for you might not have been about sex, sweetheart.” Leo took a deep breath. “I think- I think they were beyond that. Logan’s love transcends sex, Fish, and I think that was the problem at the time.” He shrugged. “Plus, that person kind of looks like you, yeah? Might’ve just reminded him of you.”
Finn looked down at the guy, who was no longer on the jumbotron but still close to the ice. He saw the lean set of his waist, his broad back. His red hair, his blue eyes. He looked at Leo. “Kind of looks like you, too. The eyes. His build.”
Leo smiled. “Well- Logan was just looking for both of us, then.”
Finn kissed him. “I love you, Le.”
“Love you, too, honey. Lo, too.”
They both turned back to the ice, where the Rangers and Bruins were still doing their warm-ups. Logan had skated over to the group of people, tilting his head in a way that Finn knew meant he was confused. He was reading the sign and then briefly talked to the guy. The guy replied to him, looking both sheepish and excited, then they were both laughing. Logan reached down for a puck, sharpie in hand, signed it and tossed it over the boards. They exchanged a few more words, and Logan tapped his fist to the glass with a smile before skating away.
“Well,” Leo said. “They obviously recognize each other. And they seemed friendly. That’s a good thing, I think.”
Finn hummed in agreement, but he was still confused. Leo, sensing his lingering hesitation, cupped his jaw, gentle but firm, and turned to kiss him. When he pulled away, he looked resolute, his eyes loving and determined.
“Us three, sweetheart,” he whispered. “Forever.”
Finn smiled, relaxing. Leo smiled back. He looked so gorgeous when he smiled that Finn had to kiss him again. “Yeah, baby. Forever and ever.”
He watched the game mostly tucked under Leo’s arm, even when they were standing. Logan played hard, he always did, but the playoffs made him even more determined. He stick-handled deftly, checked hard but clean. His game was efficient and well thought out, and he seemed to have eyes in the back of his head with the way that he kept finding his guys. Finn loved watching him, always had. He loved watching Logan even more with Leo at his side, a warm weight around him. Leo knew how special Logan was, watched him so lovingly. Leo was special. Finn was so lucky.
They pulled out a win in overtime, with an incredible wrist shot from the dot by Zibanejad. Logan had scored two goals in regulation, both assisted by Luke. They weren’t like how Finn and Logan had been when they’d played together, but they were as close as anyone could get, Finn thought. He was glad Logan had someone in his corner like that in New York.
After the game, he and Leo said goodbye to Logan’s family, Thomas, who came with Noelle, and Adelaida, Logan’s sister Sydney’s girlfriend, before heading down to wait outside the locker room. Finn knew he was gripping Leo’s hand and forearm hard, but Leo just turned and placed a kiss on his forehead. They were standing there against the wall for Finn didn’t know how long, his head on Leo’s shoulder with his eyes half-closed. He was suddenly tired, and Leo was soft and warm. Logan would be, too.
Beside them, the locker room door opened and someone took a surprised inhale. “Oh,” Logan said. “Soleil. Rouge.” He stepped in front of them, his smile soft. He glanced at their hands, then at their faces. “Bonjour, mes amours.”
“Hi, honey,” Leo said, reaching with his free arm to pull Logan towards them and into a kiss. “Good game. You played so well.”
“Hm,” Logan said into another kiss. “Merci, mon coeur.” He turned his face up to Finn and smiled. “Finn.”
God, Finn loved the way Logan said his name. “Hi, baby,” he said, smiling and kissing him. “You looked so good out there.” He leaned down to bite at Logan’s jaw. “So good.”
Logan hummed happily, his head against Leo’s chest, eyes pointed down. He was looking at Finn and Leo’s intertwined hands. Finn knew he was still squeezing tightly. “Quoi? Ça va?” He looked up. Busted. “What’s wrong?”
Leo looked at Finn, and then at Logan, whose eyes were flitting between their faces. Eventually, he nodded and bit his lip, placing a hard kiss on each of their foreheads. “Is there a room, Lo? Or do we wanna go home, talk?”
At that, Finn looked up at him. “Home.”
Logan was still worried, but understood. Leo shouldered Logan’s bag with a kiss to his head, and with his now free arms Logan hugged Finn around the waist briefly. Finn wrapped his arms around Logan’s neck, tucking his face into Logan’s hair. He smelled clean, like the showers. Finn could breath in his scent, Leo’s scent, for eternity. After a few seconds, he felt Leo’s hand on his back and pulled away. “Okay,” he said, grabbing Logan’s hand. “Let’s go home.”
Leo drove them to Logan’s apartment, Logan following behind in his Jeep that he’d taken earlier to the arena. Finn played with Leo’s fingers, which were resting on his thigh and rubbing softly. He looked over to Leo’s side profile: his cut jaw, his curls, his careful eyes watching the road. Finn took a deep breath. When his voice came out, it was soft. “Do you think he’ll get mad at me?”
Leo looked at him briefly from the road. “No, sweetheart. No, I don’t think he will get mad.” He brought Finn’s hand to his mouth and kissed over his wedding band and his engagement ring. He had Logan’s on his hand, today, Leo’s around his neck on a chain. “He isn’t going anywhere, Finn. He loves you too much.”
Finn squeezed his hand. “He loves you, too, Le, baby.” He kissed Leo’s knuckles in return. “I love you.”
Leo just smiled. “Love you.”
They pulled up at the same time as Logan, Leo once again grabbing Logan’s bags from the car. Logan grabbed for Finn’s hand, but Finn just wrapped his arms around Logan’s waist and kissed him hard. He smiled, and felt Logan smile back. “Love you, Tremblay.”
Logan giggled in the way he only did for the two of them. “Je t’aime, rouge.”
Finn turned around, then bent down. He looked over his shoulder. “Jump.”
“Quoi?” Logan’s brow was furrowed.
“Jump,” Finn said again. “I’m being a nice husband. You just played an NHL playoff game. It’s prince-treatment tonight.”
Leo laughed. “Oh, God, that’s going to go to his head now.”
Logan just smiled, all teeth. “Oh man”, he said, mocking Finn’s accent. Finn just stuck his tongue out as Logan jumped onto his back, arms around his neck. “I’m a lucky prince.” He pointed ahead of them. “Onward, mon rouge.”
Finn just fake dropped him, catching him under his thighs as Logan made an ah! sound. Finn blindly smacked at his legs. “I’m not a horse, ten.”
Leo rolled his eyes with a grin. “Let’s go, His Royal Highness and his trusty steed.”
Logan was warm along Finn’s back all the way up to the apartment, pressing kisses along the base of his neck. Leo opened the door for them and patted Logan’s butt as they walked through, earning himself a cheeky grin. Logan wiggled to get down, but Finn gripped his thighs harder, carrying him over to the couch. Realizing what was going to happen, Logan tried again. “Rouge-”
But Finn ignored him, sitting down backwards on the couch, squashing Logan a bit underneath him with a satisfied sigh. “Ah,” he said. “My favorite couch cushion.”
Logan just pinched his side and bit his neck. “Rouge.”
“Ow,” Finn said. “Didn’t know couch cushions bite.”
“Ouais, this one does.”
Finn let Logan have a little room to scoot upwards and fully sit, then flopped down, his back to Logan’s chest. He laced their hands on his stomach, slumped down a little to accommodate for the height difference. Leo settled down alongside them.
“Wow,” he said, eyebrows raised in amusement. “Look at you, Tremblay. Finally of service, and not being serviced.”
Logan rolled his eyes, but reach his hand out. “Ici, soleil.”
Leo complied, snuggling up along their sides, one arm along the back of the couch and the other on Finn’s side. He threw his left leg over Finn’s, settling down. “I take back what I just said.”
Logan just smiled and kissed him contentedly. Finn settled his head back on Logan’s left shoulder and slouched down further so he could lean and watch the both of them. Gorgeous. Both of them were so gorgeous.
Leo pulled away first, giving Logan one last peck before turning his eyes to Finn’s. He somehow always knew what they were thinking, everything on their faces written out plainly for him. Logan, upon seeing Leo’s gaze, turned to look down, too. He furrowed his brow. “Rouge?” He lifted Finn more firmly to his chest. “Want to tell me what’s wrong?”
Finn could feel himself panicking a little, breathing heavy. Leo just squeezed his thigh, nudging his chin in a go on gesture. Finn took a deep breath, looking down at his and Logan’s hands laced across his stomach. He played with Logan’s rings briefly, collecting his thoughts.
“When you were warming up,” he started. “I saw- there was this guy. With his friends, and they had signs. And you went to talk to him, and the guy…” He took a shaky breath in, pressing harder back into Logan’s solid chest. Logan held him tighter. “His sign said something about- Harvard? And sex? Or- insinuating sex… with you.” He could feel Logan’s sudden intake of breath and turned his head to look into his eyes. “Not that that’s bad. God, Lo, I’m not gonna judge you for that. I know we-” His eyes were wettening. “We both had… other people when we weren’t at Harvard together. Hell, even when we were. I just-” He stopped, a heavy weight settling in his chest.
“Rouge,” Logan whispered, nudging his cheek with his nose. “Dites-moi. Tell me.”
Finn whimpered slightly, feeling Leo’s hand come up to stroke his neck. He was so grateful for their touch, for their strength, in moments like this. “I didn’t know you had slept with another man,” he said. “And I… oh God, this is awful.”
He had really started crying then, and Logan made a panicked sound. He started grabbing for Finn to turn him around, but Finn was so stiff that Leo had to stand up and help him. Together, they moved Finn so he was straddling Logan’s lap, facing his husbands, Logan and Leo’s hands on his hips, steadying him. Logan leaned up to kiss his cheeks wet cheeks.
“Rouge,” Logan whispered, a little frantically. “Rouge, what’s wrong? Mon coeur, mon coeur…”
“Sorry,” Finn got out. Leo shushed him, hand going to the back of his neck and squeezing. “Sorry, sorry, it’s not you. It’s just, what I’m about to say makes me feel really guilty, I’m sorry-”
“Rouge,” Logan said again, nose against Finn’s jaw. “Donne le moi. It’s okay. Give it to me.”
“Okay, okay,” Finn started, sitting up and away. He wiped his cheeks and looked at his husbands, their eyes patient if not a bit concerned. “What I was going to say is-” He cleared is through. “Is that I- it surprised me to see that, to see the man with the sign because…” Finn took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “Because you broke down your walls to have sex with him, and not for me.”
Logan made a noise low in his throat, and looked to Leo. “Quoi?”
Leo brushed Finn’s hair back from his forehead like he sometimes did. “Finn, honey, it’s okay.” He turned to Logan. “It’s okay, it makes sense.” Back to Finn. “Go on, sweetheart.”
“Yeah,” Finn said, swallowing. “Yeah, okay. Lo,” he said, looking into Logan’s eyes. “I was surprised because… because, back then, you were so afraid of being not straight…” He had expected Logan to wince, or look away, but he just nodded, stroking a finger down Finn’s cheek. Finn, boldened, continued on. “And I thought that, if you couldn’t let your walls down to have me, who you… who you loved- how could you let your walls down for him? And it’s not-” He closed his eyes again, guilt creeping in. “It’s not that I’m trying to make it about me in that sense, it’s your body- I just don’t understand I guess. Leo said-” He stopped again, gripping at the hand that Leo offered him. “Leo said that it might’ve been different, because what we had- what we have- that goes beyond sex. It goes beyond everything.” He looked at Logan. “You’re everything.” Looked at Leo. “You’re both everything.” Back to Logan. “I- I’m obviously okay with it, I’m not here to judge. But I just- I think I’m hurt. Not by what you did, but just- a surprised hurt. A reliving-my-sad-days hurt.” He laughed a little self-deprecatingly. “You did a number on me Tremblay.”
Logan whined. “Finn-”
“No, no, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that,” Finn said. “It’s not important- we figured that out years ago.” He grabbed Leo’s hand, the one with his rings, and held it up alongside his own, flashing his own rings. “Now I’m yours forever, huh? And you get two, Tremblay. You lucky duck.”
Logan couldn’t help but laugh, a little tearily, staring at their hands then Finn’s face. “Ouais. The luckiest.” His smile faded a little. “But, Finn- I know I wasn’t okay back then.”
Finn shook his head. “You don’t have to explain yourself to me.”
Logan gripped his hip harder with one hand, then reached for Leo and Finn’s hands with the other. “Non, non, that’s not what I was going to say.” He played with their rings. “Mais, ouais, not exactly what I was going to say.”
Finn and Leo straightened up, Leo leaning over to kiss the side of Logan’s head. Logan looked to him, and smiled. “Mon soleil.”
“Toujours.”
Logan smiled wider, then looked at Finn. “I never slept with any men. That I knew of.”
Finn jerked back a bit, confused. “What? But the guy-”
Logan shook his head. “Merde, that came out wrong.” He laughed a little. “That was Sam. He was a freshman when I was a senior, played on the women’s rugby team. He still went by Sam back then, so it clicked when he reintroduced himself today, but- he hadn’t come out yet.”
Leo’s eyes widened, then he grinned broadly. “Oh. Oh. Oh, that’s so sweet.”
Finn was still confused. “What? I’m still confused.”
Logan laughed. “He’s trans, Fish.”
Finn’s mouth opened, then he choked out a laugh. “Oh. Oh my God, that makes so much sense.” He pushed his hips down into Logan. “You slept with him- before he came out as a man. So he didn’t- he didn’t know he was a man, then?”
Logan shrugged. “Might’ve known, I’m not sure. It was one time.” His smiled softened. “His partner plays hockey. They were there, too. Had the sign about my hair.” That made Leo laugh, his nose scrunching, and Logan reached his hand out to pinch it lightly. “Tres mignon, mon soleil.” He brought his hand down. “He just wanted to say thanks, I guess. Said it meant a lot to see other… ‘not straight’ players out there.” Logan grinned slyly as he finished his sentence.
Finn just smiled. “Hey, you said it.”
Logan just kissed him. “I’m not with you because you’re a man, mon rouge,” he said. His eyes had turned soft, firm, and a little desperate. “I’m with you because you’re Finn, because…” His breath hitched, and he brought his temple to rest against Finn’s. “Because you’re mine. Because we are supposed to be together.” He leaned back to look at Leo, brushing a hand to his cheek. “All of us. You’re both mine.” He huffed a breath. “I don’t- I don’t know if I would have knowingly been with another man besides you, mon rouge, but… but I don’t think that’s what matters.” He took both of their hands with their wedding rings and pressed his mouth to them. His breath warmed the metal, and Finn felt like he was going to burst from the love floating around the room. “What matters is that I love you. Vous êtes tous ma vie, mes amours. Vous êtes tous tout.” He looked at each of them in turn, kissed them both lightly. “My life. My everything. And sex with you both, it’s…” He grinned a little sheepishly, his cheeks reddening. “C'est tellement bon. The best. The best because you’re my everything.”
Leo was a bit teary as he pulled Logan in to kiss him again, then Finn. His lips were soft against Finn’s own, all warmth and sunshine just like the rest of him. “Oh, sweethearts, you are everything.” He sniffled, then grinned a little mischievously. “You know, when I first told my mom we were dating, when I told her it was gonna be a lot- she said that I could’ve said that I was going to marry a sea turtle and she would’ve thrown us a party.”
That got them all to laugh, Logan’s chest shaking under where Finn’s hands were resting on his pecs.
“Non, soleil,” Logan said, smile so wide his eyes scrunched. “No sea turtles.” He looked at Finn. “But not bad, eh?”
“I don’t know,” Leo said. “Sometimes you both are more trouble than you’re worth, I think.”
Finn scoffed, reaching his arms out to shove him lightly. “Yeah, right.” He stuck his nose up, crossing his arms. “No more foot rubs for you then, peanut.”
Logan pinched his side, and Leo leaned forward to kiss at his neck. “Alright, baby,” Leo said, exasperated. “You know I love you and all your trouble.”
Finn turned his head, squinting his eyes for a moment before conceding and kissing him. “Uh huh, that’s what I thought.”
“Oh, rouge,” Logan sighed. “You’re just the most trouble.”
Leo snorted. “You’re one to talk, His Royal Highness Prince Tremblay.”
“Non,” Logan retorted, leaning in to kiss Leo deeply, a bit heatedly, if Finn had to say. “Being trouble and demanding are two different things.”
Leo laughed, the sound reverberating across the living room. He settled back into the couch, leaning heavily against their sides. Finn slumped forward and dropped his head into the crook of Logan’s neck. “I’m sorry I freaked you out, Lo, baby,” he said softly.
Logan scratched his back. “Non, it’s okay. It’s good.” He kissed Finn’s head. “Feels good we make a difference, non?”
Finn sat up slightly, turning to look at his two boys. Maybe Logan was right- it didn’t matter that they were all boys. Not in the context of their relationship just existing between them. Finn would love them any way he could have them, he was sure of it. But to the world, to others like them, it did matter. It mattered enough that someone was brave enough to talk to Logan at the game, that kids showed up to the LGBTQ+ hockey camps Leo ran in the summer. It mattered to Finn’s students, when they walked into his classroom and saw a Pride flag, when they saw the wedding pictures on his desk of three men, committed to each other for life because they were in love. So deeply, deeply in love.
That’s all that mattered, Finn thought. The devotion was important. The commitment, too. But more than anything, the thing that made the difference was the love. All of the beautiful, fulfilling love.“Ouais,” he said in an attempt to mimic Logan’s accent. His husbands smiled down at him, all gorgeous and lovely and his. “Feels good to be in love."
