Honestly I've been twirling my hair since before I had hair.
Pros, the heat and constant twirling gives me perfect curls sometimes. Cons, my hair is always disgusting and I still rip out my knots sometimes lol
- the leg bounce
- sleeves
- bottles of liquid were strangely fascinating
- something heavy on the end of some string
- Doodling ALL the time so now you’re kind of accidentally good at art
- MAGNETS
- jewellery. Especially those weird earrings where they’re a ball covered in gel spikes.
- Covering your hands in glue and peeling it off
- Tapping
- Twirling your hair around your finger until it accidentally turns into a huge knot
- gum
- Stroking pets because it feels good for you not just them
- Any blu tac you found around the house or school would stay with you for many weeks
- Biting the inside of your cheek, fingers, nails
- “we will be using clay in art today” was a god send
- bubble baths
- people think you’re faking needing stim toys now because you’ve gone so long without them and they didn’t notice your little ‘quirks’ before
I was scrolling through Thomas spider images to change my background, and I went on a journey that ended up dressing me as a clown and stabbing me in the throat 12 times
if the spider-verse sequel turns out shit bc the voltron writers bungled it I swear to god it’ll be my villain origin story lmfao I will actually just raze this earth down to the fucking stone crust
I'm gonna rant about Monster High, bear with me
A couple days ago I was thinking about stuff from my childhood when I realized that there was never a Monster High doll line where the girls were humans. And frankly, I'm offended.
I read the book series back in like 5th grade, and though I don't consider it as very good, it definitely had a lot more lore than any of the movies or episodes (I never watched much tho so idk). But one of the biggest things about the school was that it was a school for humans, and the monsters had to change their names and hide themselves to coexist. There were "subtle" ways to show they were monsters (Lagoona constantly putting on lotion to stay moisturized, Ghoulia "Julia" talking super slow, Draculaura never going into public bathrooms, etc.) But it was an interesting setting for the two main characters (Frankie, freshly made, and Melody, the new human girl) to be placed in.
Having said that, it's pretty stupid that this was never referenced or even mentioned anywhere else in the show. Having a line of "Merston High girls" could seem boring, but so is 30 of the same dolls with different outfits.
I guess it doesn't really matter since the fad's been over for so long. But I watch a lot of doll face-up so it's relevant to me
“Oh that animal doesn’t LIKE you it just TOLERATES you” …..So? If that’s the most a non-social organism can feel towards you isn’t that just as special an honor as whatever it is you think affection means??
Happy New Years, heres a contribution
That is the best thing I've ever seen
