{ john boyega, cis man, he/him } have you heard that ( finn ) from ( star wars ) appeared in town?  i know, i can’t believe it either.  he is ( twenty-four ) years old and is a ( firefighter ).  I’ve heard that he has a tendency to be ( protective & empathetic ) and ( anxious & impulsive ), and they have ( all ) of their old memories.

PAST

( tw: abduction, brainwashing, war ) a boy, taken at the age of three with no memories of a childhood, is forced to serve the First Order. given the name, if one can all it that, FN-2187, he is programmed, trained to become a stormtrooper. despite his natural abilities — a leader in the making, he was too empathetic despite the First Order’s efforts. he soon realized what they were doing was wrong, & with that he helped smuggle out Resistance pilot, Poe Dameron, from the Starkiller base, & also got a real name — Finn.  after a flight gone wrong, he soon met Rey & while at first wanting to simply run away, in fear the First Order would find him & his belief that the cause would lose regardless, he later changed his mind. finn realized how important the Resistance was, & that there were things worth fighting for. & boy, was there a lot of fighting. the star wars universe is so big, so just know things happened, & Finn grew stronger & stronger in his beliefs aligning with the Resistance. he became a General along with Poe. he also learned he was force sensitive & that the force really does bring people together :’). he loves his people okay, finn & john boyega deserve so much love, bless. give finn a lightsaber or i riot, disney. you can find his wiki here.

finn woke up with no memory of how he got here. he’s concerned™ but mainly for his friends. if anything he hopes they’re not here & are safe at their homes. he’s trying to learn as much about this place as he can, for it’s all so foreign to him. he has suspicions that there’s something dark at play, but he’s trying to be optimistic.

at least it wasn’t just his mind playing tricks on him. or maybe it was the force guiding him to where he needed to be, even if he didn’t know it. luke gave the man, finn, a small smile and nodded. “uh, yeah, doesn’t mean a whole lot right now, i have to admit,” he agreed, but he could feel the man was telling the truth. he was starting to learn to trust the force his gut again. “i’m luke. or, i guess you already know that.” since the other man seemed to have his memories. so he knew his sister, and they were fighting… something. “wait, did you say a different time? what, are we from the future?” that might take a little explaining to do when it came to ezra.

                    the other’s smile was easily returned, meekly shrugging his shoulders. “to be fair, you didn’t look like you do now when i knew you. but i’m pretty sure i’d know you anywhere.” whether that be from the force or his own wishful thinking. “this system marks time differently than we did. but based on what little tech they have i’d say probably so. no ships, at least ones like ours, no droids. they’re all human too. which considering there aren’t any wookiees who always win at dejarik maybe it’s a good thing.” finn smiled, but it was slight, a bit bittersweet. he wouldn’t mind seeing chewie again, any of them. “but i haven’t seen any evidence of —” dark forces, “— of anything bad, besides the whole barrier thing of course. so whatever is going on, i think it’s something we haven’t faced before.”

               Ben  couldn’t  help  the  blush  that  crept  onto  his  cheeks.  Jesus,  he  was  a  grown  man,  why  was  he  acting  like  this?  Because  it’s  Bev,  that’s  why.  “  If  it  makes  you  feel  any  better,  I’m  sure  you’re  a  more  tolerable  drunk  than  I  am.  ”  He  got  giggly  when  he  drank,  and  even  though  he  knew  that  Bev  had  seen  him  like  that  before,  something  about  her  seeing  him  like  that  still  made  him  nervous.  “  Well,  something  tells  me  that  this  isn’t  exactly  the  occasion  to  order  a  beer.  ”  He  chuckled  softly,  looking  toward  the  bar  and  shaking  his  head.  He'd  been  in  enough  formal  occasions  to  know  that.  “  Which  is  exactly  why  I’ve  learned  to  appreciate  a  good  whiskey.  ”

                    "oh, i don’t know about that ben hanscom ; i can’t see you ever being even remotely intolerable.” how bev behaved while intoxicated depended much on the drink of choice && what happened that night, ranging from the silent overly-emotional type to the happy, affectionate type. ever unpredictable as always. the thought came to her without many other clues, but it felt right. she’d get a clue as to why later that evening. “— you could probably be drunk && still design the prettiest of buildings. architect, right ??” bev mused, only to soon chuckle along with him. “damn, just what i was about to order.” she jested, ordering her usual vodka && mixer — this time cranberry juice. “well, cheers. to you being fancy && us being tolerable drunks.”

Amelia laughed lightly and nodded her head. “While I can see your logic, I don’t know if I could completely agree with it. Just because you can’t see them, doesn’t mean they aren’t hiding around here somewhere. However, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the event. We do all this work so people will hopefully enjoy it.” She replied. With his words, her head tilted a bit like she was thinking over his offer. “Hmm, can it be a total of an hour? Like maybe not all at one time, but more of a cumulative hour throughout the whole night. That I think I can accomplish.” She figured some times with her friends and Wes, she could make up an hour.

                    "well someone’s gotta bear the brunt of the work && i’m glad it’s not me,” he quipped, though quickly added — “ && that it’s done by people who are actually good at it.” mike always followed through on his word, on anything he set his mind too, but that wasn’t always necessarily a good thing. trouble tended to follow, more so than he even knew. when it came to school he was organized, a future lawyer had to be. but in daily life ?? mike had to relax a bit to survive. “usually i’d say no, but i’ll compromise. just try to at least chill more than five minutes at a time. there’s always some drama at these kinda things, but doesn’t make it any less of a party.”

                Draco  had  to  admit  that,  although  he  was  trying  to  give  himself  a  fresh  start,  he  really  didn’t  believe  that  anyone  besides  Hermione  would  give  him  the  chance.  Of  all  people,  though,  he  supposed  Luna  would  be  most  likely  to,  and  clearly  that  was  the  case.  ‘  That’s  how  I’ve  chosen  to  see  it.  ”  He  spoke,  hand  absent-mindedly  going  to  the  spot  where  his  dark  mark  once  was.  His  tattoo  was  covered  by  his  tuxedo  sleeve,  but  still.  “  I  can  think  of  about  a  hundred  places  that  would  be  worse  than  this,  surprisingly  enough.  ”

                    well, make that another thing the two apparently agreed on. they wouldn’t have believed they ever would a few years ago. but people evolved, luna would be one of the first to agree with that too. how dull, being the same person throughout one’s entire life. “well, college is certainly better than high school ever was.” luna may still be an  o u t s i d e r  to most, a friend a RARITY, but it was more common to see people being their true selves && not be questioned for it. “&& the states have way better food, even if we never went hungry back home either.” luna mused, attempting to lighten the air.

Listening to her, he wasn’t surprised by the respond that she was having. it was similar to the response that they all were having when they first went back to Derry. None of them remembered anything, and when they did, they all freaked out. Hearing her statement, he shook his head. “I’m sorry Bev, I wish it was. But it isn’t. This is what’s really happening.” If Bill knew of a way to get them all back to their homes, their lives, he would, but he had yet to figure anything out. “A couple of them died. Stan and Eddie. Well, Stan never made it back to Derry, and Eddie didn’t make it out of the fight.” He explained, keeping his voice low. “So far I only know of Mike not having them, but I haven’t talk to the others yet.”

                    bill’s words only made her finish off the drink that much sooner. dead. in the bathtub — a thought she couldn’t place but was repeating over && over again. she could hardly imagine it. the group always felt like it was supposed to be seven. five would be incomplete. while she couldn’t remember it, already it felt like parts of her were missing. “— so what you’re saying is whatever is happening here is at least sort of like what happened at home, even the second time ??” focusing on missing memories would only cause stress at the given moment, bev instead tried to focus on something she maybe could somewhat handle. “if that’s the case then we gotta get out.” though hearing of the closed border wouldn’t help the cause. “you reckon whatever thing is blocking the ways out goes underneath the street level ?? that it’d—” she paused, hating to even say it. “— block passageways in the sewers too ??”

                 Han  wasn’t  impressed.  It  was  clear  that  the  stranger– Finn  knew  more  than  he  was  letting  on.  Hell,  he  might  have  let  it  go,  if  it  weren’t  for  the  fact  that  he  was  clearly  trying  to  hide  something,  something  personal.  If  it  was  something  that  could  help  him  find  his  kid,  or  just  get  some  answers,  he  wanted  to  know.  “  Kid,  I  know  a  good  liar  when  I  see  one,  and  you  ain’t  one.  You’re  gonna  have  to  try  a  hell  of  a  lot  harder  than  that.  ”

                    finn was hoping that’d be enough, but he could tell from the look on han’s face it was  f a r  from it. despite how uncomfortable it all was, finn knew if roles were reversed he’d want to know. the idea of information being held, not helping in all the ways he potentially could — finn never wanted to experience that sort of thing again. a sigh pushed past him, offering a small, kind grin. “okay, yeah — it’s a bit more COMPLICATED than that. you’re gonna think i’m crazy solo, but ... i knew an older you. but !! i have good news, depending on what you do remember. the empire lost. && the was this thing called the first order that may have taken its place but, we won against them too.”

                    EARTH — quite a strange system, even stranger having never heard of it before. they’d won the war ; certainly palpatine couldn’t have found a way to come back again ... && again, right ?? racing thoughts shortly stopped however at the sight of the other. the FORCE could do many things, but it couldn’t bring back the dead. finn knew he was foolishly HOPEFUL, but the words came before he could stop himself. “has anyone ever told you that you resemble this one famous rebellion general ?? or —” a younger version of him. “ — sorry. guess i’m just trying to find familiar faces in everybody,” he attempted to quip. @edgcofgreat​  /  han solo.
