Saying “hear me out” about The Ghoul is about the same as saying “hear me out” about Mothman.
I’ve made a fallout radio playlist on Spotify and I can’t believe how productive I’ve been listening to these songs.
I’m also going to make Elseworlds and Aus for my own au. I feel like this might be going too far but I don’t care.
There’s one where Lex Luthor becomes president and manages to propagandize people into fighting against the heroes. I want Bruce, Kara, Donna, Wally, and Dinah to be some of the few left standing and they are pissed. They have a plan to go to a different universe and use their Lazarus pits because their own universe doesn’t have any left. (They go to main au maybe idk)
I have another where it’s just Superman after being alone after outliving the world goes universe hopping cause he’s lonely.
I have so many ideas!!!
Dream of No. 5 by Lin Chang
Ok here is a loose drabble thing for my DC Earth:
Earth-H-704
(This is gonna be a lot of nonsense with no cohesion, that will have to come later. Just need to get these ideas on paper.)
(Inspirations are the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited shows. Also quite a few Justice League comics)
- Clark and Bruce meet before anyone else and work together before the Justice League is formed (world’s finest)
- during this time Dick gets taken in by Bruce and Alfred and starts being Robin
-Barry and Hal meet and become friends, they also help each other out from time to time
-Diana comes to America as a diplomat but quickly establishes herself as a hero (she also meets Steve)
-J’onn J’onnz is already on Earth and is acting under his human identity as John Jones. He’s desperately trying to settle into earth and find his place here. He’s working as a detective.
- Arthur has decided enough is enough and also acts as a hero via guardian of the sea stuff.
- well to be honest everyone is establishing themselves during this time. It’s essentially the coming of the age of superheroes.
- Despite working with Superman every once in a while Batman and Robin are still technically a myth.
-So is Arthur who has only been caught on camera like 5 times.
- Diana and Clark end up working together over something in Metropolis.
- This leads to them becoming friends and working together more often.
-Clark introduces Diana to Bruce. They end up working together on a few things and settle into this dynamic. (Trinity)
- eventually a massive invasion happens that causes the main seven to group up and fight against these guys. (Super friends one could say… no it’s the Justice League!!)
- So for the most part they think it’s a one and done sort of deal but incidents keep happening that force them together. (Barry and Bruce working together on a case, Hal and Clark stopping meteors from crashing into earth, Diana and Arthur and J’onn work together to set up safety for aquatic life and talk about how the feel a bit out of place in this new world they find themselves in)
- eventually the Justice League properly forms after another invasion happens and they all work really well together.
- It’s the Trinity (founders (Clark and Diana lure Bruce in by claiming needing help) (he knows they don’t really need his help but he can’t deny them anything)) that properly set up the Justice League. Just with the seven as members for now but willing to add more.
-They all settle into this new arrangement well, and they get that Justice League building built.
- after a few attack attempts Bruce gets the Watch Tower built and then they all settle up there. (He’s attached now, he will never admit it.) (Diana and Clark know.)
- after this several other members are added (Dinah, Oliver, Zatanna, Red Tornado, Shayera, Carter…. Many more)
Basically this is it for now.
Other things that don’t really fit into the timeline yet but do happen:
- there are so many Green Lanterns. The Oa realized earth is a hotbed for universal chaos and recruited even more Green Lanterns for that section of the Universe. (Because I love John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, Jessica Cruz, just a lot of them.)
- Technically there was already an age of heroes that came and passed (Alan Scott and such) but they all either disappeared or went into hiding. (Listen I loved the image of Bruce and Tommy watching Alan fight in Batman: Hush. It felt so weirdly inspiring and I can also imagine Clark sitting down and watching The OG Flash be a superhero.) (I might change this and make these guys a separate universe but I love them so it’ll stay like this for now)
- MORE SIDEKICKS (Roy!! Wally!! Donna!!)
- Dinah and Oliver power couple!
- secret identity shenanigans

Clark: *listen cause he’s fascinated by this*
Diana: *not as interested but she supports her friends gods damn it*

Quick headcanon that at some point, the Justice League makes a time-off calendar for every time a leaguer is busy and needs someone to keep their city safe while they’re gone. Maybe they have a work trip or a family thing or even some vacation they planned.
All a hero has to do is request time off, and another member will sub in while they’re gone. The only problem is that it creates a pattern. It would be suspicious if Green Arrow is only replaced when Oliver Queen is on a business trip, right? So to keep the public on their toes, JL members are encouraged to take a random day off each month or so and switch out with no rhyme or reason. Just any random day, any random hour.
The outcome is complete chaos.
Clark Kent has the pleasure of interviewing Wonder Woman at the scene of a car chase she just stopped in Metropolis.
Some muggers in Star City are scooped up into a giant glowing cage while Green Lantern riddles off bird puns to an exasperated Black Canary.
A team of robbers hit a bank in Central City but get roasted by Plastic Man for their poor their safe-cracking skills as they’re taken into custody.
Black Manta uses his high tech weaponry to wreak havoc in the Atlantic only to be hit with a torpedo as the Bat-Sub dives towards him at full speed.
Cyborg is lecturing a group of teen vandals in Fawcett City when Captain Marvel just waltzes up, says, “I’m tapping back in,” and continues the lecture where he left off.
Complete. And. Utter. Chaos. No one knows who will show up at the scene now, not even the cops, but criminals are scared shitless.
The JL decides to keep the calendar. If only for entertainment.

I have to say, the hero with the biggest wake-up call due to having kids/sidekicks has to be the Flash. All those times he just jumped into action before the team, because he'd thought his own plan out before them? He must be kicking himself, finally getting their irritation as he holds back his own speedsters by the collar and tells them to just wait a damn minute.
Bruce has a scar on his left eyebrow from when he was just starting out as batman and a Baterang ricocheted into his face.
"Flash take the controls," Hal ordered, opening the hatch at the back.
Barry blinked, noticing the empty pilot's seat and zooming into it, shouting, "Are you crazy? I don't know how to fly this thing?!"
"What?" Hal demanded. Something exploded on the planet.
"I'm a forensic scientist!" Barry yelled, wildly pressing buttons. "Isn't there some kind of autopilot?" Looks back to see Hal gone.
Their spaceship proceeds to nose dive towards the alien planet, and Barry starts screaming--

Not the greatest, it was from memory and I was drawing on a hand out but this is what I mean. Only wet cat man. I will never be free.
Help my default way of drawing Bruce is the wet cat version of him from fear state and future state.
I’ve tried to draw cleaned up versions of Bruce but they just never look right. What do I do?! Literally if I try to draw Bruce this is what comes to mind.

Let’s give each other recs! I recommend World’s Finest by Mark Wait and a really cool comic series called Astro City.
The first comic in Astro City is of a family moving into a superhero city, it’s about an average family in a superhero world.
(This is mostly just me trying to get comic recs from people so I can make a reading list for the summer.)

Clark is super suspicious of Bruce cause Bruce is being suspicious. He’s studying odd things and literally sewing a batboy costume. They work things out in the end though.
God this was nuts. World’s Finest 172 I had to look for this one online.
Some other fun things:
Another Flash v Superman Race, werebat Bruce, Bruce getting drugged into thinking he has to do everything anyone says or he’ll die, Clark and Bruce being shrunk, and two robot versions of Clark and Bruce begging for death.
This is madness.
So this entire issue is about Superman being threatened by someone who supposedly knows his identity. They said he has to leave the city for 2 weeks or he’ll tell everyone.
Can I just say it’s hilarious that the guy says 2 weeks like dude you have Superman’s civilian identity what are you doing?!
Superman keeps saving people in secret and Batman and Robin go to find out where Superman went.
Love that Lois and Perry here idk they seem concerned.
So Batman and Robin do find Superman and they talk about the guy with Superman’s identity. Then a flashback happens and Clark talks about this kid who probably works for that guy.

So Clark is freaking out, but here’s where things get even more ridiculous.

I literally yelled “I knew it!!!” Also Bruce’s reasoning for trying to get Superboy’s identity is so funny! Like he literally goes “I wanna be a detective so I’m gonna find out superboy’s identity, not to share, just to keep.”
The kid has a LEAD LINED NOTEBOOK. WHAT?!
And so Bruce gets his evidence but goes screw you to Linnis. Superman goes to save the day and everyone is happy! The end!
This was the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. It’s also one of my favorite comics. It’s so silly I love it.

Oh my goodness I understand the pain of drawing Batman. I draw Superman on the regular cause he’s so fun to draw and Wonder Woman is also incredibly easy to draw but for some reason!! Batman always hurts my brain to draw. I always make a bat blob cause I just can’t.
Edit: OHMYGOSH I FORGOT TO SAY THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! Your artstyle is wonderful and I love how you draw them!! Love Clark’s circlet!!
