Sometimes I worry that my love for dc is just more of a batfam thing and then I nearly cry when I see Kara in the My Adventures With Superman trailer.

Tbh that’s not too dissimilar to how the golden/silver age comics worked. Clark was originally Superboy helping people around Smallville.

Idk if people actually new but I think it would be hilarious if they did and were just like “yep, we totally don’t know who superboy is, just sending flowers over to the Kents for fun.”

Starting to think a cooler headcanon for Clark’s upbringing might just be that the entire town of Smallville collectively decided to just go with it and accept that Martha and John's kid has superpowers, but we don't talk about it.

Someone's tractor gets stuck and nothing can get it out? "Be a dear and run down to the Kents, would you? Ask for Clark?"

I got some classic comics today.

I’m so excited. I also have the second issue of Batman year 1 but they were a bit pricey so I only got 2.

Im super excited for the Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow because I’ve heard about it from overly sarcastic productions.

Nightwing, suddenly vaulting into the conversation from across the room: No, no, NO, the last time we pretended to be a normal family for an hour, we played Trivial Pursuit and it ended with an arrow through the living room TV. None of us even fight with arrows. We're freaks that need to fight crime, don't take that away from us.

I need Bruce doing things he believes is completely out of character for Batman just to scare people. Like full on just putting Brucie into Batman as revenge against the annoyances he’s received.

Hal walks into the meeting room early for once and sees Batman kicking his feet a doodling in his lead lined notebook with a sparkly gel pen.

Hal: “uhhh”

Batman: “Hi GL~”

Hal: flees

By the time the meeting comes around Batman is once again the stoic scary man he always is. Hal is half convinced that it was a hallucination of some kind, maybe lack of sleep or that bagel that Barry dared him to eat.

The meeting ends and everyone is just hanging out. Hal goes over to talk to Barry when he swears he hears Batman’s voice say “no one will ever believe you” in his ear. Hal doesn’t sleep well for a week.

(Batman is very smug about it, that’s what he deserves for eating his bagel. Alfred made the spread for it.)

Dick got thrown off a building and Bruce jumped to save him. And when he caught him this is the scene that happens. This is such Silver era bs I love it so much.

I gotta get ready to go to a graduation in a few minutes but instead more world’s finest!!!

So I didn’t finish talking about issue 4. So the main antagonist mind controls several hero’s and fused SuperBatMan have to hold them off and fight Nezha.

The ring runs out of power and then suddenly

KARA COMES IN WITH THE SNEAK ATTACK

She is pissed off!!

And then she reveals the only true way to stop Nezha.

Oh crap!!!

The art in these scenes are just so beautiful. I love them!!!

Hi I’m back and here to talk about Issue 4 of World’s Finest:

Hal is being mind controlled and my god is it funny.

The light from the ring!!! Clark being pissed!! Just amazing!

And the Bruce gets grabbed and Nezha talks shit. Also Hal coming up with a mech is so good!!! The backgrounds are so beautiful!!!

And then Bruce pisses him off and he just throws Bruce?! He’s just tossed it’s so funny.

Supergirl and Robin find out how to defeat Nezha and I like how the artstyle feels a bit different in these scenes. Like softer almost.

Robin gets lost in time.

And the finally my favorite scene! Batman and Superman will Hal’s ring off his finger and FUSE?!

They do a full dragon ball fusion help!? It’s just so crazy I love this comic series. If you’re ever interested read them. My rants do not do them justice.
