Me and my brother went to visit her today with some great aunts and uncles, and I was leaning down to give grandma a hug, and one of my great aunts said, "dont you think those shorts are a little bit too short for a young lady?" And my 86 year old great grandma went, "oh, shes fine Elaine, those shorts look quite nice on her," and then she gave me another hug and whispered, "Grandma's always on your side," and idk why but that hit my in the feels and my great grandma is too good for this world

Ivan's the interpreter between Alfred and the babushkas and that's why he can get away with crushing on Al openly cause Al will never know. When I first drew this a year ago, it took me well over an hour and I remember being so proud of the results. One year later, it took me a little over 15 minutes to sketch this out. Very proud of how far I've come :>

Note to vacationing non-Americans: while it’s true that America doesn’t always have the best food culture, the food in our restaurants is really not representative of what most of us eat at home.  The portions at Cheesecake Factory or IHOP are meant to be indulgent, not just “what Americans are used to.”

If you eat at a regular American household, during a regular meal where they’re not going out of their way to impress guests, you probably will not be served twelve pounds of chocolate-covered cream cheese.  Please bear this in mind before writing yet another “omg I can’t believe American food” post.
