Have you ever watched the whole Total Drama series?
I have watched all of Total Drama Island to All-stars, but after that I had hard time finding the rest of the episodes to watch, mostly cause I couldn't find a platform to watch it on and because I often for get the name of the sixth season. I have watched the seventh season, and seen episodes of the sixth, but I genuinely don't remember if I ever completely watched all of them. I am waiting for the 2023 reboot to come out in the US so I haven't watched that either.
So yeah, I don't think I've seen all of the series but I have seen a majority of it. I have to rewatch some episodes since it's been a while though.

the fact that in tdas they just ?? got over the volcano thing?? like they dont hold grudges at all, they understand that they're just playing the game.

you can't even try to ship them with anyone else bc once they team up they're SO willing to fuck over all their friends
they wouldn't last if they didn't understand each other so well
they're both good at reading people but both are difficult to read
you could argue that they're too similar but CLEARLY neither appreciates people different to them
the love/hate thing isn't at all in a toxic way, they're just trying to convince themselves they aren't attached because they're afraid of commitment and in tdas they're shown to genuinely care about each other without fighting
ik some people hated them being lovey-dovey but damn thats some good character development for both of them
they haven't lost their edge or anything they've just teamed up
one could even say they've doubled their power
obviously alejandro is the pull where heather is the push but it goes deeper than being one-sided
alejnadro's 'pull' isn't vulnerability for him, he does that with everyone. its when he starts to lose focus that he shows vulnerability and at first heather doesn't realise and takes advantage of it
but when he calls her out she listens and feels bad which is something we never see from her otherwise
heathers vulnerability isn't when she cries in the wt finale since we've seen her use crying as manipulation before
its more subtle, like when she hugs him when they're successful
because more than anything, heather isn't used to sharing happiness. her happiness comes at the cost of others, her competitive nature likely stemming from competition with her siblings for their parents' affection.
she doesn't like being alone in the game or being the bad guy, but thats what works.
when they're together they can be the bad guys without being alone
not to mention they're each other's weaknesses, so with that out of the way they're more powerful

Guys I watched the entirety of All Stars in one evening the other day (an absolutely crazy experience) but this was actually the gwourtney season oh goodness ā¹ļøš©µ Iām so glad I finally got them married in my sims game LOL
i wanna be happy and scroll on the mike / mal td tags but then i come across posts of people forgetting that theyre actually a system and are, infact, stuck in the same body. and its like . i wanna see more funny moments !! like yeah mal can be in a band but like imagine if mike ended up fronting during a practice by accident and didnt know what to do,,, maybe im self projecting
adding on (or maybe changing??): headcannon that like 3 people (zoey / duncan / cameron) were actually suspicious but also played along because chris is fucked up and evil and wanted money
it would explain why all stars is such a fever dream, and why theres do many plot holes, because they just needed drama for the show!!! zoey and cam still didnt know about mal until maybe a little later than the moon episode but mike got an opportunity from chris to make money and when he told mal (chaos loving freak) he said yes as long as people who took care of him didnt actually get hurt (this may be ooc how its worded but trust its way different in my head i just cant word)
headcanon that at least half of mal's overdramatic theatre kid level villain antics came from knowing he was on camera 24/7 and knowing that making himself interesting would keep them on the show longer (i firmly believe that chris occasionally rigs the voting based on fan popularity) and that mal was like 50 steps ahead with who he let realize he's not mike, making sure the fans knew, keeping drama with other contestants, etc etc. this is heavily based in our mal fictive's source memories but yk yk

ok guys rant incoming... i have scrolled upon terrible (in my opinion) takes one too many times and i HATE it when people make mal hcs like "oh he would bully children on the internet!!! oh, he would tell random people on twitter to kts" like NOO please. he gets angry for reasons like to protect people. guys hes literally an alter in a system (likely a persecutor) wouldnt he be doing things to protect the body + others. not out of pure malice?? like do you actually go online to just bully children what??? i mean he does do a ton of evil stuff for no reason in all stars but every character was mischaracterized SO BADLY in all stars idk. it may just be me, but i think the things he would do would be more against people he knows and hates, or if pranks. against people he knows and cares for, not just random people. maybe it's just me. also, i hate all of the cameron is weak hcs because wasn't his whole character arc about getting stronger and not needing the bubble anymore???? i feel like im going insane did everyone just forget that, or do people just think it is silly when he gets beat up? i dont understand it. i understand that a lot of characters were horribly written (ESPECIALLY mal), but why do people make him mean for no reason?? angst is more fun, but again, this may just be me. also, why do people just remove important canon events or character arcs when making headcanons. the only exceptions i have personally are things that are ableist or just bad like the button scene. anyways just a small rant because i felt like posting about it because im genuinely so curious why people change these characters so much but honestly i probably do the same amount of changes but in a different way
im not hating by the way, you all can enjoy your headcanons as much as youd like !! post them everywhere!! i just personally dont understand it and it frustrates me a little when some events are entirely ignored, i think it would be interesting to have events still happen BUT ALSO have these headcanons and to build onto what did happen !!! like maybe if cameron is super weak after the whole arc, perhaps its because of the toxic waste exposure over time ?? or maybe lack of exposure?? idk i wanna see more ideas its so sad to me personally when i can't fit things into the story because theydont make sense in a way
