I can't remember if I wrote Serena's bio before or after I saw this but basically that photo of Anya Taylor-Joy's wedding cake being a lifelike looking model of a heart...yeah so I have a part in her bio where her father trapped her first ever human lover in his lab with her and injected them both with a virus. Serena's hybrid biology quickly fought it off but her human lover grew more delirious and sickly with the days and he had also grown scared of her because, y'know, finding out her and her father were not exactly human. He started accusing her of all sorts of stuff and said he never loved her, that he had only been under her spell.
