ok im about to write some scary headcanon
and it has to do with this part in the episodes
yes the part before the famous intro
in that part we can see how the kratt brothers transform into their cartoons right?
well now think about this, everything that happens in that scene is literally the brothers changing reality. Which means that they are the only ones in the universe of 'wild kratts' who know about the other world
they are the only people who can travel from one world to another no matter what, so technically they have two very different lives in each place
It's a bit scary if we think about it in any way, of course it's a series for children, but if that is literally the true message that this scene gives, it is a bit creepy.
Woman pressed the camera button, Martin immediately smiled for the photo. After all, he had always been a gallant and I was sure he was going to be lovely.
Especially if the photo took a forensic so beautiful
Grandpa placed his hand on Chris's mouth "sh... Calm down little one... Calm down" he says almost whispering.
The chestnut does not stop shaking, at that moment the only thing he thought about was his brother, he should have stayed with him at his parents' house.
"Don't make a sound, you don't want Grandma to find out, do you?" He continues to say with his lips very close to the boy.
And while they are there, the grandmother walks through the house with an ax in her hand.
Her memory has betrayed her again. According to her, she is looking for two intruders who broke into her home.
"what's this?" William asked sullenly.
"a black suit" replied Martin
"tomorrow there's a funeral and we're invited"
continued Chris with a childish and innocent tone
"funeral huh? Better go tell your stupid mother I'm not going"
"oh believe us stepfather..."
"you'll be the first to be there..." Martin completed reloading his firearm.
I thought of the last time I had seen my older brother, that memory made me unconsciously smile. I felt stupid doing that.
Immediately change the expression to one of sadness, had to hide at all times. I don't want the detective to start suspecting me. I certainly can't tell anyone where I buried his body
"I'm Chris... And this is my suicide letter... I was the worst person in the world, I messed with my older brother Martin's girlfriend, and on top of that I stole money from him... I don't want anyone to cry for me because I don't deserve it...»
—Do you think they'll believe it?— Martin said as he dragged his brother's body to the river.
When death entered my house I begged him not to take me, because my 4-year-old son and my newborn son needed me.
Death sneered indifferently, he said to me: "young mother... It is not for you that I come."
Once I played with my 6-year-old brother, from one moment to another he asked me:
"If we take the heads off all the stuffed animals, will they stop talking at night?"
I was frozen, there weren't even stuffed animals in his room.
It was a rainy day in the forest, I was far from Tortuga HQ, so I decided to take refuge in a cabin that I saw nearby, when I entered there were several pictures of people smiling in a terrifying way, they made me uncomfortable but I did not pay attention to them, I quickly fell unconscious in a sofa in poor condition.
When I woke up I was horrified to realize that they were not paintings, they were windows.
The man took the knife, Chris wanted to scream, but he couldn't even move. He watched in terror as the man slowly approached, wielding the knife in the direction of his chest.
He needed to do something, he was about to stab him. The knife was about to pierce his skin.
Trying to concentrate, he mustered all the strength he had left... and managed to move a hand.
The man stepped back, puzzled, dropped the knife and picked up a phone.
"Sir... I'm the medical examiner, the boy they just sent me is still alive."

totally blown away to have found out this iconic scary picture is actually just of an animatronic halloween decoration. That picture and the Russian Sleep Experiment story had me in an absolute chokehold when i was a little kid, and even when i got older and accepted that it was fake, I still could never exactly account for what it was in that picture. Assumed it was some really good prosthetics, made for a macabre art piece or, I hoped, for some really obscure horror movie that I might be able to find someday. Nope! his name is Spazm and he’s from Spirit Halloween

I love velvet worms! Absolutely bizarre creatures. They don't have an exoskeleton and they move by changing the fluid pressure in their body. ALSO there's a species (Euperipatoides rowelli) that lives in social groups lead by a dominant female.
Let's admire that species.
