This year has been WILD. Front row at mxmtoon concert, saw Six on Broadway, met Milo Manheim and Liz Gillies, & got signatures from all parties involved in some way or another.
My next goal is to go to some event(s) in which I can meet Drawfee and Smosh. My life would then be complete.
Also meeting Jordan Fisher. And Dove Cameron. THEN my life would be complete.

Miraculous Ladybug is so funny to me compared to other superhero/magical girl media, particularly how they get their powers.
For example in My Hero Academia you're born with them and their usefulness is mostly a question of luck and genetics
In One Punch Man and Dragon Ball (and Prime Defenders - very niche reference) some rare people are born with them or acquire them in a supernatural event
In Sailor Moon you gotta be the reincarnation of a goddess
In W.I.T.C.H. (also niche reference) you're chosen by an ancient magical council
In Winx you gotta be an alien fairy princess
In Marvel it depends but if you start off as a normal person you have to at least be a genius and sometimes train for years.
In Carmen Sandiego it's purely technology

And then there's Miraculous Ladybug, where a teenage girl has a box full of jewels powerful enough to destroy the universe, and if she likes you even a little bit she just might lend you one and let you tag along

Somebody derogatorily called me “blindly obedient” to the show on one of my posts. Unfortunately I blocked them before I took a screenshot but I keep rotating it in my mind. At first I was annoyed like “enjoying a show is ‘obedience’?” but I was a fool then. Yes I am blindly obedient. Yes I am on my knees at this shows mercy. Yeah, sure, if the show tells me to jump off a cliff I will. When the show says “Adrien and Marinette kiss” I say “how far”. The show tells me that Zoe and Sabrina have homoerotic tension and I am taking emphatic notes. The show tells me that Gabriel was always an absent father and I am kissing its toes
Concerning the twin rings that Ladybug broke:
Personally, I think we're missing information that maybe Marinette knows and we viewers don't. Also, season 6 is written as a “season 1” (of sorts), so new viewers who haven't seen the previous seasons may not really understand why Ladybug was afraid to break the rings.
I also think it may have something to do with Felix. When he appears in an episode, I think they'll reintroduce/explain the concept of sentimonsters and amoks, and maybe we'll get the answers to the questions we had during the Werepapas episode.
Personally, I think Adrien is wearing one of the twin rings, but the other is a fake. Felix is probably protecting the other twin ring. It's possible that Marinette knows all this and that's why she had a little doubt before breaking the rings, but did it anyway because the amok can't come out until the two real rings are together. But that's just my theory, we'll see.
Btw if you reply to my posts of me having fun with my show whining and bitching about why you don’t like it then I will delete your reply. And if you keep doing it and I start recognizing your url I will block you. I cannot emphasize enough how much I do not want to see that and how much I do not give a shit about your complaining. tbh I love that Sublime exists.
I'm not familiar enough with her character yet to know how much I like her herself (though I think she had a solid introduction! I like her so far!) but mostly I love the role that she is filling. I love the disability representation, I love that Adrien made a new friend that he silently goes on runs with and shares classes w that he doesn't share with Marinette, I love that Marinette has someone that she can feel threatened by in her relationship, I love seeing Marinette navigate her jealous feelings but with all the character development that came before it (she has learned that hating someone due to jealousy is bad and that she can't judge someone solely for being close to Adrien. She's doing what she wishes she'd done with Kagami to begin with — try to be her friend — but all the while she's struggling with the fact she still feels jealous, even if she won't admit it. That's good character development! Marinette can't turn off her feelings, but she can react to her feelings in different ways! That's what she's doing!). It's nice to have a "love rival" (sort of) who isn't an antagonist (like chloe and lila were) other than kagami (who is now taken and poses no threat). It's nice for Adrien to have a friend that he made on his own! She's basically re-filling the role that Kagami left behind, which is great imo, because it was an important role! Also, I'm so curious to see whatever is going on with her involvement with Tomoe. And I love that she's there to flesh out their new school! The show is kind of starved for civilian characters atm asfhasjklsaj
