I have a similar idea with you!
I also imagined that he can control the fire and lava on earth and could just create a new volcano if he desires to. With the fire beam, I feel like it will only activate when he's very angry and if its in a fight I feel like it would happen. Even when he fought Ghidorah and Mothra, he wasn't angry enough to use it.

If your AU revolves around Rodan then why isn't he the almighty titan or King of the Monsters in your AU?Is he?

Gojira is still king of the monsters, especially when reincarnated as a human.
Just because Rodan is the main character doesn’t mean he has to be the King or Almighty BUT there is one thing. In an interview with Michael Dougherty, he did say how Rodan was more powerful than Godzilla but it would take more to defeat a monster that’s twice his size and so it lead me to take that advantage.
Rodan used to have an energy beam in at least one of the older movies and it also shows in the cave paintings, which can also imply that Rodan still has that ability but never used it in King of the monsters
Because of that, I have decided to give him that ability in this au to add onto the mass of his great power. I also imagine him being able to control the fires and magma of the earth (almost like fire bending and lava bending), having the ability to create fires when he desires and have volcanoes erupt in his command.
To shorten your answer, it’s for two reasons
1) there are very few stories where Rodan is the main character but when he is, he’s portrayed as a victim that is weak or usable. So in this story/AU, he’s going to be given a different purpose
2) Rodan isn’t the King or titled an Almighty Titan and he doesn’t have to be but he it is stated that he is more powerful than Godzilla himself so this could prove that he is more than just a Beta Titan

Victor sit’s in a bar trying to process what happened days ago the way he saw Madison all bruised up the tears sliding down her eyes the blood on her clothes it wasn’t hers. It belonged to someone else maybe someone she knew the guilt was eating him up
before he could pay the bartender an army of G team soldiers bust their way into the bar causing everyone to panic Sergeant Barnes orders everyone to leave including the bartender Victor tries to do the same but they aim their guns at him it leads to realize it might be about the girl because why else would they be after him
Mark Russel and Ilene Chen enter the bar while Mark glare is at Victor with rage before sitting down asking Victor, where they took Madison
Victor explain’s that Hayworth kept him out of the dark about Madison only telling him it was supposed to be a simple job also recalling how there were bigger forces at play
Mark decides to calm down after hearing victor’s story and decides to show him something on his phone a voicemail from a terrifiedMadison explaining to her father on how the senators and governments were working with Alan Jonah to take down Godzilla and Weaponize Ghidorah
As the voicemail goes on Madison becomes hysterical explaining how they kill Josh and cold blood, but before she could say anything else so barge in and kidnapping her gunshots and Madison’s screams can be heard before cutting off with Victor saying this
Victor: Jesus….and I thought your wife was worse
Mark: welcome to the club
Mark confirms that they also captured Hayworth and are currently interrogating him for any more information the only thing he said was Las Vegas Mark theorize as it could be where they’re keeping Madison
before the conversation continues Sam Coleman calls from the Argo in a panic explaining that Rodan seems to be making his way towards the city they are at leaving mark confused on what he could be looking for
Mark Victor and Chen alongside G team race outside to see Rodan piercing himself on top of a building roaring like a demon out of hell seemingly angry whatever it is, it’s pissing him off
Mark Victor Chen and G team both board the Osprey and begin flying to the Argo while Rodan begin tearing the city apart including the bar, they were just in

The whiskey burned on the way down, but Victor could barely taste it. He sat hunched in the bar, forehead resting against his knuckles even if he was nothing but restless. He did his best to drown out the unwanted memories bubbling their way to the surface. However, try as he might, he couldn’t possibly shake away the image of Madison— the tears streaking down her face weren’t for herself, they were for whoever’s blood had soaked into her clothes.. Judging by the shaken-up look etched in her gaze Vic knew all too well, he could only assume it was someone she knew who hadn’t made it. “Goddamn it.” Victor hissed under his breath, rubbing his temple.
The guilt sat heavily in his chest, pressing against his ribs like a weight he couldn’t shake. He had known long before Hayworth contacted him: he wasn’t a saint, but he’d never imagined he’d stoop as low as to being a human trafficker— intentional or not. Before he could toss some cash on the counter, the bar door exploded open with heavy force.
An army of G-Team soldiers stormed in, weapons raised, the metallic clicks of safeties being switched off sent a chill down Victor’s spine. As easily as he could be blindsided, Vic wasn’t stupid— based on the way the patrons scattered, barstools toppling as people rushed for the exits. He knew they were here for him. “Out, now.” Sergeant Barnes demanded to the likes of a bartender who had already begun backing away, not in the mood to be on Hayworth’s bad side by potentially blowing their operations, Victor moved to follow.
Unfortunately, they were steps ahead of him. Before Victor could reach the exit, one of the personnel pointed a rifle to his chest. Vic’s heart sank to his feet, watching as the soldiers parted and Mark Russell entered with the kind of fury in his eyes one would only experience upon finding out their child was in danger. Ilene Chen followed closely behind, her gaze was a practiced stoicism, but Victor could tell she was sizing him up. Mark didn’t sit right away, he just stood there, glaring.
“Where is my daughter?” Mark demanded, Victor exhaled through his nose, dragging an ashamed hand across his equally ashamed face. “Look, I didn’t know what the job was.. Hay— Harrison kept me in the dark, he said it was a simple delivery, I only found out when I opened the van.” Victor pleaded, avoiding saying Hayworth’s name because he knew Mark had mercy, Hayworth did not and would have him killed for the slightest slip-up. Admittedly, Vic gulped as he watched Mark’s hands curl into fists on the table with white knuckles, but he didn’t interrupt, showing he was at least willing to hear Victor out. “I tried to pull out, but he said there were.. Bigger forces at play. That’s all I know.” Victor admitted, it was a half true, okay, maybe a three-quarters true since he still hadn’t said Hayworth’s real name, but in his defense, he heard through the grapevine Hayworth was simply an alias he used while working under Simmons. Mark’s nostrils flared as he weighed out the credibility of Victor’s words, then, slowly, he pulled his phone from his pocket and slid it across the table. Victor hesitated before picking it up, glancing at Mark before pressing play.
A voicemail from Madison Russell crackled through the speaker, her voice was shaky, rushed, and well? Understandably terrified.
“Dad, listen to me— Jonah’s not working alone. The government— senators— they’re in on it. They want Godzilla gone. And Ghidorah— holy shit, Dad, they want to weaponize him—"
Victor felt the blood drain from his face, but the recording had no care for his comfort, continuing with Madison’s voice growing more desperate.
“They killed Josh. Cold blood. Just— just gunned him down like it was nothing—” From over the phone, Victor could hear Madison’s breath hitch, followed by a door bursting open, heavy boots, gunshots, Madison’s screams, and then nothing at all.
Victor slowly lowered the phone, swallowing a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. “Jesus.. And I thought your wife was bad..” Victor trailed off, “Welcome to the club.” Mark bitterly huffed, shaking his head. He went on to rub a hand down his face, Vic guessed he was trying to suppress the growing rage bubbling beneath the surface. “We got Hayworth, so don’t push your luck. He’s not talking much, but the one thing he did say? Las Vegas.” Mark stated, “Vegas? You think they’re keeping her there?” Victor pondered, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch— Vegaa was a tourist city, and like every tourist city, it had a large underbelly of crime that would be easy to slip a kidnapped human through.
Before Mark could answer, his phone buzzed violently. He snatched it up, pressing it to his ear, fortuneately or unfortunately, Vic could make out the conversation fairly well due to the person on the other end yelling.
“Mark? We’ve got a problem, a big one.” The voice on the other end began. “Sam, now’s not the time—” Mark tried to put simply, “Yeah, well, Rodan doesn’t seem to give a shit about your schedule.” Another voice cut in, “Shut up, Rick.” Ilene snapped, confirming the other voice as Rick Stanton. “What?” Mark muttered, “He’s inbound. Headed straight for the city.” The first voice exclaimed, Mark exchanged a look with Ilene, then pushed away from the table.
Victor thought he was off the hook only for the building to tremble, sending his stomach into a twist as a large, prehistoric shadow loomed over the bar, blocking out streetlights.
A guttural, ear-splitting roar tore through the air, like that of a demon shrieking from the depths of hell itself.
Outside the shattered window and the first Titan Victor had the misfortune of seeing up close— Rodan, perched atop a nearby building, wings half-spread, firelight gleaming against his volcanic hide. His eyes burned with fury, his beak snapping open in another deafening screech.
Without warning, The Fire Demon dove, sending the bar into chaos as glass shattered, debris rained from above, people screamed in terror as the building began to collapse, flames licking hungrily at its edges.
Mark grabbed Victor by the collar, dragging him toward the exit. “Move, now!” Mark exclaimed, G-team soldiers were already outside, scrambling into Ospreys. Mark, Ilene, and an unwilling Victor rushed aboard, the aircraft lifting off as Rodan smashed into the street, sending a shockwave through the city.
As they ascended, Victor stole one last look at the wreckage below. Gone was the bar, and in its place was Rodan at the center of it all, his wings flaring as he let out another furious shriek.
King Ghidorah: Your trust may be misplaced, old friend. But it is appreciated.
Rodan: You can take my soul... if you’ll shut up.

"Awww" Mothra cooed "it's a mini..."
Godzilla- He smirked as a Mini Gojira came out of the egg, he swiftly walked over to the chicken and there egg. The looks of everyone he passed, anger and full of hatred that almost made him smile even wider. As he reached the two he grabbed his baby gently, the small reptile nuzzeled into there fathers arm, with his free arm he wrapped it around the mother's waist, both walking away to his cave where Jr was. When they reached it Jr exility ran out looking at his father first, before looking at there newly hatched sibling, there eyes sparkled and they jumped up and down, Godzilla let out a huff and ushers everyone inside. While Jr was playing with there younger sibling, Godzilla had there arm and tail wrapped around (y/n) "Well my Queen not that you had my child you wont have to do anything you can take care of the kids and I will get everything for all of you, you will never have leave the cave again, now my Queen lets go make Jr is playing nice with there new sibling"
Rodan-"YES" they loudly yelled, quieting down as they see the faces of everyone around them. They flew over to them and wrapped a wing around them "Now lets go home sweetheart, I got the nest ready, though it maybe be a bit late for that" he said already looking at the hatched egg, he shook his head before speaking again "Well no bother we can turn it into a bedroom for our little chick" he grabbed the chick with his beak, like a cat would to there baby. Flying up he titled his head up, they knew what he was saying 'follow me'. They flew up refusing to look at the other's faces and followed the red bird back to there house. When they finally reached the house the door was open and the two where no were to be seen, slowly walking into the house they noticed in the corner a nest made up of soft materials and on the nest was there newly hatched baby, softly snoring. A red blur came across there vision and the door behind them closed, a heat engulfed them as they realized Rodan was hugging, more like cuddling them. They where lead over to the couch Rodan refusing to let them go "I almost lost you my love, but not anymore, I will go get our baby some food you just stay here and take care of them"
Anguirus-They walked quickly and were on guard, they new the others may try and attack them, once they reached there destination they looked at the baby they helped make. The baby looked at them with wide eyes and made a few noises, his tail rapped around the newborn and placed him on his neck, the baby grabbed his neck and his tail rapped around the chickens arm making sure to avoid the hands. They walked forward and soon reached his house, as they open the door and everyone was in, he locked the door and his tail released there arm and he gently put there baby down "You know when I first found out you slept with the others I was angry but when our baby hatched I couldn't leave you and they alone, so just stay here and let me take care of our baby and you"
Ghidorah-Each head had a prideful smirk on there face, walking slowly just to see the looks on everyone's faces, the tiny two headed dragon was picked up by there father's left head, the other two heads rapped around the chicken giving nips and licks soaking in the other's growing growls. San rapped there neck around the cyborg and Ichi lifted his head, taking in everyone's angry expression before flying away to a secret part of the island, there home. They dropped the chicken with a thud as walked over to a few pillows and gently placed to baby down, the newborn instantly fell asleep. The mother felt like jolting backwards when the three heads turned around with dark expression on there faces. They where frozen in place as the three headed dragon walked towards them, Ni suddenly bit one of there shoulders, no to hard to hurt but enough to startle them and soon the others joined marking up there body with dark blotches and bite marks, the three then stopped looking at there work. " Now that you are officially claimed as our mate, why don't we make some more children" "Don't worry we'll protect you during that time cant have anyone stealing you away" "And when are children grow we can take over the galaxy, as a family"
MechaGodzilla-It was a surprises when a metal baby hatched, but MechaGodzilla didn't care. As he glided up to the egg he looked at the chicken and stated " I told you we are the only robots here, we where made for each other and this is the result" referring to the newly hatched baby, it took a few seconds but there jets started up and they were off going to there home, the newly hatched doing the same thing and the chicken squawking, closely chasing there child as they followed in a line. When all three reached the house the door instantly opened and everyone stepped inside closing when the last person stepped inside. Mecha scooped up his child and put them in a cylinder like object, wires coming out and going into some parts of there body. "It's a charging station" he said before the mother could say anything, "Now you had a long day babe why don't you go to bed, and don't think about escaping, I have eyes everywhere"
Megalon-Out of all the people to have a child with Megalon was the least intimidating father, he made a squeal before running to the front. He lifted and twirled the chicken who didn't mind, though stopped when he saw the faces of the others. "Come on let get out of here" the other nods and grabs their egg while Megalon put his drills together and jump down, making a hole that the other then jumps in. Megalon bursts from the ground and soon the other jumps out to, he opens the door and (y/n) walks threw and then Megalon held his arms out waiting patiently for them to let him hold his new baby. Both were on their couch the newborn between them as they laid in relaxed silence, "you know I always wanted to have a family with you but didn't know how to ask you, but now we can be together, forever"
Space Godzilla- He smugly walked up and put his hand around the chickens waist, he then grabbed the nape of their Childs neck, dropping them in the mother's arms who quickly cached them. As they walked away Space smirked wider as a 'swoosh' behind them hit someone *cough*Megalon*cough* in the face with a light 'ow' in the background. The crater was the same as when they left, Space snapped him fingers and many crystals appeared in a rectangle like shape " Put the baby in there it can act as a temporary crib" he said lighting a cigar and sitting on the chair, the chicken put their child in the crib that somehow had a pillow in it, they watched as the baby curled up and drifted to sleep. They looked at the space kaiju who smirked again beckoning them to come over while also patting next to him, when they stayed still Space lifted them up and brought them over to where he was sitting. They sat down hesitantly, as Space put a hand on their they and blew smoke into their face, " I told you they would get my looks, now what did I say before you rudely ran away from me oh right, you are never getting rid of me baby, now how about we make more children, until we start a new species".
Destroyah-Everyone was quiet when he walked up, as he picked up his kid and held his hand out waiting patiently for the other party to replicate. When they put their hooks in his hand, he swiftly grabbed there waist and lifted them up, the others hooks hanging around Destroyah's neck as he carried both home. The place was dark and (y/n) couldn't see anything, as there adviser adjusted to it they were put down and were shocked when they watched Destroyah rock the baby in his arms before placing them in a crib that looked like it was made of bones. He turns around and walked back over to them, holding their hand out again, as they hooked there hands together Destroyah moved bringing both into a slow dance. They didn't know how long they were dancing but their feet were starting to hurt, he stopped and grabbed there hooked hand and kissed it, "My love our child will be the most feared in the world, and maybe we can give them some sibling, but now who's bones would you love to have you thrown made out of, how about all the other's you slept with"

They were nervous, of course they where first they had this weird bump coming from there stomach and then only a few hours ago they laid an egg, AN EGG!!!. They stayed in there room the whole time, they even ignored Ghidorah's calls and that was a first. They gulped they would have to do something they would never thought they do, ask for help. They grabbed a bag and carefully put the egg in and quietly left the room, on the couch was a sleeping Megalon. They left before they could wake up, while making sure no one saw they went to the only person they believed would help them.
A knock on Mothra's door was not that unexpected but the person on the other side was "Heyyyyy Mothra do you think I can come in" the cyborg chicken asked nervously, though she was suspicious she let them in "Do you think we could talk privately"
Mothra was surprised when they put an egg on the middle of the table "I laid an egg a few hours ago and I don't know what to do" Mothra grabbed a pillow and gently put the egg on it. "Well...do you know who the father is" She asked, the chicken was silent and was looking everywhere but her. Mothra sighed rubbing her temple "Just... tell me who they may be and I will write it down"

"I suggest that you tell them about this, I will keep the egg here for the time being" she then stood up and shooed them out of her house "I will take care of your egg for the time being" Mothra closed the door leaving them outside they sighed 'This is going to be hard'
Godzilla-I slowly walked into the cave, I know Jr was playing with Mothra's kids and probably wont be home anytime soon, a light growl startled me, the king stood in front of me a light blue light coming from his mouth before he recognized me " What are you doing here" he demanded "I have to tell you something" "Well spit it out" he growled "I laid an egg" Godzilla's eyes widened and his mouth stopped glowing, he then smiled and grabbed me and nuzzled into my neck "Looks like Jr is getting a younger sibling" I try and wiggle out but he is to strong "So where is the egg?" he asks, "With Mothra" I reply finally managing to escape him "I am going back to Mothrs's after I do a few things" he nods before I quickly exit.
Rodan-I fly to Rodan's volcano next to it being his house and knock on the door, he open's it up and a sly smirk appears on his face "What can I help you sweetheart" I wanted to roll my eyes but didn't "I laid an egg" he beams with happiness before grabbing and pulling me inside. He twirls me around in almost a dance his head on my solders "I have been waiting for this moment for so long my love, so where is the little chick" he asks "At Mothra's right now until I finish something's" he hummed in acknowledgement before letting go of me. "My love I must get our nest ready, you go finish your tasks but come back soon you need to rest" He then quickly left without saying another word most likely to collect things for a nest, I sigh and head out of the house over to the next person.
Anguirus-Walking to the house I knock on the door, Anguirus opens it and smile "Well hello there (y/n) how about you come in" He opened the door and I went inside, he then ushers me to sit on the couch, I do and he gets some food for me to eat, I sit in an awkward silence. He brings out the food and I look at it before carefully taking some bites out of it, all Anguirus is doing is staring at me, "I heard you laid an egg" he says making me choke a bit. "How I know I cant say but what I can say is I love you and I will take care of our child" He gets in front of me with pleading eyes, I stand up "I have to go finish things" I say feeling the sweat coming down my body, "When your are done please come back, I love You" I quickly walk out to go meet my next person.
Ghidorah-I didn't have to walk long to meet the next person, as now I was cornered by the three heads of Ghidorah, Ichi, Ni and San. The heads blocking a way I could escape "We called and you didn't answer, why didn't you" Ichi growled the other two coming closing "W-well I couldn't because I laid an egg" they did almost the same thing as Godzilla, there eyes widened and they stopped moving before a wicked smile came to all three of there faces, all three heads came close to my neck and started making little nips at it, all three then curl around me licking my skin and giving small bites, I could feel my face heating up and as they continue there assault on my body I feel it heating up. They suddenly stop "Where are you going after this" Ni asked "Well after I finish a few more things I was going to get the egg at Mothra's" "Well when you are done come to our place" Ichi said " And it's not a ask it's a demand" Ni added "After all you are the mother of our child" San commented then they disappeared flying away.
MechaGodzilla-The slick chrome walls and floor reminded me of my home ship, looking around me gave me flashbacks on my childhood. I try to find the robot but he is not where I look, Suddenly two cold arms wrap around my stomach, I jump up in surprise and a robotic purr interrupts my beating heart "Well is it isn't the mommy to be" he purrs "How did you-" "Babe I am a robot I can see threw you, and I saw my child grow in your stomach but now I don't see them so let me guess they are with Mothra because she knows what to do" I meekly nodded my head. "Ok Mommy why don't you finish everything you have to do and come back with our child, and don't forget we are the only robotics here, we are made for each other.
Megalon-Megalon was the least stressful person to talk to about this so when they opened there door and where tackled by said bug they weren't scared. "WHERE WHERE YOU?!?!? I MISSED YOU I LOOKED EVERYWHERE BUT YOU WHERE NOT THERE" He cried, I gently patted his back "I have something to tell you" I say. He wipes his tears and asks what " Well I laid an egg" his tears of sadness then became tear of happiness "Really..." I nod my head and he hugs me, he then looks around in hope but gets confused when he see's no egg "Well were is our baby" he asks "Its with Mothra right now" I reply, as he hugs me he asks things like 'What should there name be' 'What do you think they look like' 'I hope they look like you' I pull back and they whine but don't do anything. "I only need to do two more things then I am going to Mothra's to get my egg back" Megalon joyfully waved me off and I left to my next kaiju.
Space Godzilla-The hills surrounded by crystals is a warning to not enter but the crater in the middle is where the kaiju lives. I stepped aside a crystal and spotted the space monster lying on a lawn chair, he looked at them and smirked " Well baby did you decide to come back for another round" he said, this time I did roll my eye "Listen I'm just here to tell you I laid an egg" he still had his smirk on his face but he brings me over and has me lay beside him "So a little me is going to be running around soon, they'll get my looks and have your personality" he sniffs something and his smirk turns into a frown "You smell like that dammed dragon" he flips us so we are both facing each other he then smirks again and puts his hand on my hip, I jump up in surprise and he falls off the chair, I take this time to quickly run away, he yells something behind me but I was to far away to hear anything. I stop to catch my breath, a small crystal lay on my chest I brush it off and go to my final kaiju.
Destroyah-Saving the worst for last I stood in front of the thrown like chair, the demon siting on it looking at me, tapping his finger on the arm rest "I L-laid an egg-g" I stuttered slowly trying to back out, but his deep laugh made me stop "Good" he replied before standing up, I start shaking as he leans down his face near mine, his hands grab the side of my head. I look in his eyes and they look back, he then kisses me softly something I never expected him to do that and I lean in, we stay like that for a few seconds before I pull away saliva connecting between us, he drags a finger down my face "My Love bring our child to me and we all will have a thrown, the bone of those that oppose us and we all will destroy everything on this planet, I nod my head but I was not fully paying attention "Now my Dear how about you go get our child and be back soon", I nod and leave his territory.
I enter back to Mothra's house and see her doing a check up on the egg. "I'm making sure there healthy" she says taking her eyes of the egg and on to me " So did you tell them they may be the father" I cock my head in confusion "What do you mean?" Working on a full body Rodan design. Gotta make a few tweaks but I liked it enough to add color.
Had to include San as well. Now I need to work on a full body Ghidorah as well as designing Ichi and Ni's heads.
