If any of y’all didn’t know, there’s a free online library, aka
https://openlibrary.org/
and I found like, twelve ebooks I’ve been wanting to read on there, and blasted through like three of them during the course of a boring-ass shift.

Forgot to announce this here but the first ten chapters for Drawing For Nothing have been released! For those who missed the last post, this is a free, digital art book for animated films that were either canceled or bombed due to complicated issues.
https://www.drawingfornothing.com/
More chapters are to come. A few highlights in the next installation will be My Peoples and Larrikins.
Also, if anyone wants to help research, feel free to send a DM! We're also working on a new cover that will feature custom artwork of various characters from these movies. If you think you got what it takes to draw in the style of another artist, we would appreciate the help!
08/05/2021: Okay so there’s a bunch of newbies here. I had to change the title because Tumblr loves to fuck this post over.
I basically gave up fixing the tags here for a long time because it’s harder to update links when Tumblr keeps updating their html codes every 5 months
The best possible experience I can give you is to use this post on desktop or on a browser app instead.
Sorry for the inconvience, but please before you send an ask, check out my Other: Queen Speaks tag first, Thanks
-QueenSweeties
21/01/2019: *I tried updating it so it can Mobile friendly, but it still isn’t working well. Since the tumblr update it screwed both Android and Apple users. What I tried today is replacing http:// to https://
Unfortunately it barely made a difference. If you can still manage to get through to a post with the tag you’re looking for, click on the tag itself applied on the post. Sorry for the inconvenience
I am not one to know anything about coding and please consider my Other: Queen Speaks tag before heading to my inbox. Thanks

If you’re on the fence about getting Clip Studio Paint because of the subscription I will say that you do not need a subscription if you buy version 1.0 for PC. PC can have perpetual licenses for each version, but with the perpetual license you have to buy subsequent upgrades in order to have the newest features.
But if you have the subscription you get every update with it- and if I am going to be honest CSP’s subscription model is very much worth it because of the type of product you’re getting. I don’t believe in subscription models but I will say this one is well worth the money once you get accustomed to all of the tools at your disposal.
F*ck Adobe and all of their products. Give CSP a try- once you learn the basics you will love it (probably) 🙏
(I am not being sponsored to say this, I’m just a professional illustrator who loves the program a lot.)
Adding on to my previous post with a post from Cohost in the case anybody still on the Adobe train decides they want off.
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

can we get a post going of environmental/conservation progress lately (especially outside of the USA). it can feel so defeating and it’s easy to burn out when you’re surrounded by all the negatives
Folks, there’s so much wonderful stuff on the Fediverse. Case in point, I found this:
thanks to this toot: https://writing.exchange/@alxd/114422322330256560
It has been an unreal honor to be part of this project, you definitely will want to check it out & it is ever-evolving in real time ♥
thanks to the hard work of the volunteer transcribers, we've finished transcribing 6,000 (!) blinkies archived from old geocities websites!
we've used the transcripts to build Geoblinkies, a blinkie search engine that searches the full text & image descriptions of all 6,000 blinkies!! you can also visit the Geocities page that each blinkie was found on, and explore the old web from there :D
thank you so much to the transcribers and to GifCities & the Internet Archive (the source of all of these blinkies) for making projects like this possible!!!

I recently came across a blog where when I went to highlight some text I noticed it was a unique color!!! (」°ロ°)」
AND IT'S SO SIMPLE TO DO
all you do is go to your css file and add this:

Enjoy!! ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡
I grow our own vegetables. Many hybrid and heirloom varieties are bred for flavor rather than for commercial appeal and travel. There are entire species on the allotment that you can’t easily buy in stores because of this - like salsify, a root vegetable that tastes of fish and shellfish. Our neighbours happily take it to make vegan latkes of alarming similarity to fishcakes. You cannot sell it in stores because - despite looking like a white parsnip - it turns brown when you pick it if you scrape/bruise/cut the white root in any way, or damage the delicate little hairs, for some reason, it BLEEDS RED and is very upsetting to look at.
There are whole classes of foods like this. Foods that just don’t ship well or look good on supermarket shelves. Forbidden fruits. Vegetables that bleed and taste like meat. Sorry about this
