I am not okay but that's my personal life.
I genuinely wished I had an inch of sanity left. Tomorrow is my exam I will determine if I'm continuing on. I've literally spent well over 80 hours this week just studying.
Ive decided to treat myself, and spent a whole 10 British pounds on the behind the scenes audio of Red valley, in preparation of my journey home after the exam.
The only thing that's keeping me going right now is the idea that I could be an unethical scientist just like my girl boss Bryony.

His wife is a social worker and is the nicest woman you've ever met.
They both met in university.
Clive was doing some dumb uni degree, like English or psychology.
I think his wife was probably like a mean girl in secondary school, but has tried to make amends with everyone she hurt.
If his daughter asks for something in the shop he'll always say no, but is constantly giving her gifts.
When his wife was pregnant he had nesting syndrome, and would spend hours just decorating and cleaning and dalting after his wife.
Clive either really likes football (like every single match for his team) or violently hates it.
Clive smashes a phone every month.
When he's drunk he vents to his wife about his work.
He wife knows what he does but believes it's for the greater good.
They never acknowledge his work when they're sober.
He owns some of the most tacky designer stuff you've ever seen.
He shops at sports direct.
They live in one of those generic new builds.
Does their weekly shop at Tesco because they want the club card points. It is also the only place locally that sells tahini.

I missed Gordon Porlock so bad I literally started crying at the end of the new episode man. The way Warren talked to Gordon like I’m actually losing it I love them so much.

I had to sleep and wait until morning so I missed it by a couple hours but HELLO???? SO many emotions and none of them I can express in a way that’ll do them justice.
That was incredible? It was just surprise after surprise. The swapping “that’s my line”s? Just stab me in the heart why don’t you? They’re so sickeningly special in my heart. As other people have pointed out, I love how we can always squeeze some genuine comedy in there too no matter how intense it gets, in the case with the “chop chop”. AND MALCOLM???? There’s so much here to think about wow. I wish I could be better at talking about this because this whole episode was wow

S4 E5 OF RED VALLEY??? THAT WAS SO GOOD, my jaw actually dropped at the end. I don’t know if I can wait two more weeks guys😔
I’ve never been good with words but I loved the voice acting for Bryony this episode, it was so interesting to hear her and Warren talk again. I’m still super curious about the whole Warren killing someone thing though.
Also I NEED Gordon to be okay I miss him so much PLEASEEE

It was so funny in my head I swear.
Also I will never figure out how to draw Warren.
It took me too long to realize that what Warren listened to in Gordon's cryosuit wasn't only the WYWH stuff. He also listened to the tapes from up to at least Premium Dead Forever. And I feel very stupid because he even REFERENCED these tapes to Bryony.
So we know for sure that he listened to Gordon cutting open the Yoghurt Lord. So. Uhm. Nice to know he is still acting normal around him I guess.
Also I'm curious if he listened to Grace calling Gordon Igor. He probably wouldn't call him out on it, since Grace's redemption arc, but I'm still curious. And also still a little bit pissed at Grace for that whole scene.
Still don't know why it took me so long to figure out the most obvious thing ever though.
My wild Red Valley take is I actually think Bryony liked Gordon. I actually think Gordon is the only person at Red Valley she liked. Up until the moment she got fired because of him of course.
Like obviously she needed him to get information on Aubrey. But she could've interrogated and then got rid of him the moment Warren was in the pod. And she didn't!
She didn't like Clive, she wasn't happy with Pam and Grace and the only reason Warren was involved was her desperation. Her boss, her assistants and even her test subject were all not her choice. But you know who was her choice? Gordon Porlock.
She thinks they're similar and she wants Gordon to see and accept it too. She thinks he is competent which is a lot coming from Bryony. Especially since Gordon himself is not qualified for any of this. He's not qualified to address a scalpel wound, he's not qualified to manage the mental state of The Most Traumatized Person Ever and he's not qualified to look after a facility full of complicated and expensive equipment. And yet she keeps him. Of course, she is condescending and derogatory to him but I think it's just the way she is to people.
I don't think they could've been friends in another universe. And I don't think she cared. But I do think she liked him. Maybe she liked him as one might like an ant. But she liked him nonetheless.
I was trying to have a miserable day but then I remembered Gordon Porlock is fine and well and isn't amnesiac and I started smiling like a crazy person on a bus. What 3 hours of sleep and red valley pod do to mf.
Warren Godby really said 'this guy is just interesting' and then proceeded to get away with him on a road trip to blow open some cryoshit (without telling his wife) and get codependent and abnormal about the guy over the course of about two weeks.
Folks I think this guy might be just interesting or something...
I've been relistening to Red Valley season 4 (like a normal and sane person) and I just realized that the reason Warren came to the cryosuit in EP4 was just so he could find out what he did. He could've asked GORD to tell him about it literally anywhere else. And yet he came to Gordon to learn the one thing about himself he'd been the most terrified of. Because Gordon makes him feel safe. Because Gordon is the only person that didn't know and didn't want to find out unless Warren would be fine with it.
I guess Warren's finally made a decision to look together (I mean in a way??)
