I have arranged a small date for Roman and I for Friday evening. I do hope that this one on one attention helps and maybe will get him to tell me what’s gotten him so clingy. 

Roman’s strange behavior has continued. Even Remus has noticed and expressed concern, but Roman insists that he is fine. 

I am doing my best to help him since it seems that it is only me that he wants, but it is very hard to get anything done. I fear he has been neglecting his schoolwork as well. I just...can’t get him to talk to me 

Roman has been quite clingy today, and while normally I would not mind, I have a rather large to-do list.

I do not think he has ever been so cross with Patton. We just needed to have our tutoring session, and yet Roman acted as if I had cheated on him.

I'm not quite sure how to handle this situation.

I can tell you with confidence that he would not like it.

What he had failed to mention was that I'd had a particularly bad day that day and couldn't sleep as a result. I had thought the rest of the household was asleep, as it was too late for even Virgil to still be awake.

What are your thoughts on the song Little Miss Perfect?

It is a rather relatable song for someone like me, I suppose. I too felt like I had to maintain a certain image to be the “perfect” child my parents wanted me to be. 

However I have since realized that my sexuality does not make me any less “perfect” nor do I have to be who my parents want me to be. Their decision on how my life is lived and who I choose to spend it with is null and void. I only hope the person this song is about realizes this as well. 

What do you think is going to happen once September/October hits?

my hope is cooler weather. 

There will likely be an increase in political ads and commercials with the election so close. 

And yes, there will be an increase of Halloween decorating and talk of costumes. Large bags of candy will be sold at outrageous prices and certain members of the household will take things to a bit of an extreme. 

And there will probably be another incredibly surprising event. I can only hope that it is simply surprising and not harmful. 

Roman's excitement over musicals is quite cute, in my opinion.

However his exceptional analysis and ability to determine foreshadowing and exhibiting his knowledge of the theater production process is extremely impressive. My love for him grows every moment he pauses the movie to exclaim over something in it.

(assuming you're talking about the slang experiment) any particularly amusing incidents you'd like to share?

Remy yelling "yes girl" as I "vibe checked" Roman. This unintentionally started a "vibe check war" between certain members of the household. It was quite an evening

Yes I am well aware. Roman, Virgil, Remus, and Janus have been planning since the end of July. This year will be very...interesting.

perhaps if you want to test more slang words, you could ask Virgil. he seems to be pretty 'hip'

He would be the best option next to Remy, but Remy is a bit too...much for me. I think this shall be an excellent experiment

How do you think Roman would respond to yo using the term "bruh"? (I typically use the word when I feel betrayed in a joking way)

Hmmm this requires an experiment.

He simply looked at me with a confused and shocked expression before saying I was his boyfriend and now a "bruh"

I have compiled many...interesting things Roman has said or done throughout the lockdown. Since many of you seem to have an interest in his normal ridiculous phrases, I thought I would share these as well, with his consent of course. He and I are both interested in your responses. I will post the first one momentarily.

Um...thank you, i suppose. I’m not quite used to affection of this kind, but i appreciate the sentiment.

Exhausting. This social distancing sounded fine at first but Roman is not as much of a fan. 

(i'm new so sorry if someone already said this) You say you don't have emotions, but Roman's your boyfriend which means you must love him in someway but love is a emotion and is also linked with other emotions such as happiness and compassion and may lead to jealousy and anger so how do you explain that??

It is not that I do not have emotions, it is that I do not let my emotions rule over every part of myself like some others do. I prefer to think rationally rather than emotionally, which I suppose can come off as if I do not “feel” anything. 

However with Roman it is quite...difficult to think with anything but my emotions at times. Everything about my relationship with him is new and strange to me, so I am still figuring out the difference between my emotional responses versus my rational responses.

Roman is special to me, but i do not know how much longer i can handle Remus 

The best part about being home is showing Julian the stars and teaching him what i know about them. He has a very bright mind. 

I am very exhausted. My parents have been running me into the ground these past few weeks. I very much wish i could go home 

I miss Roman...very much 

I'm going to visit my aunt. I hate to leave Roman, and I hate having to ask her for help even more, but perhaps she has information that i do not

oh...it seems that Roman is afraid that if i leave i might never come back.
