Motorola MicroTAC 9800X 1989
The MicroTAC 9800X was not only the smallest and lightest mobile phone of its time, it was the first to feature the trend-setting "clamshell" type design where a mouthpiece flipped to cover the keypad when not in use.
Featuring a dot-matrix LED display, very advanced for the day, the MicroTAC and its immediate variants remained in production well into the 1990s and formed the basis for much of the world’s idea of what a "cellular phone" looked like.

Motorola DynaTAC 8000x 1983
The Motorola DynaTAC series was the first commercially-available, completely-handheld cellular phone. A full charge of the brick-style phone's battery took ten hours, and offered half an hour of talk time.
The phone has since become iconic to the 1980s in general, and Yuppies in particular. DynaTACs are used by characters of privilege in productions such as Wall Street, Saved By the Bell, and American Psycho.

Motorola has installed the Turbo button on the dashboard of the next Droid smartphone
Today the new details about the upcoming Droid Turbo device have been revealed officially. Motorola continues to expand their famous Droid phone series already proved to be worthy on the market.
Everybody has thought that the main competitors on the stage, when Motorola has suddenly launched the bolide with a Kevlar rack cover. Verizon rolls out of the dyno garage his new sporty smartphone Droid Turbo
Verizon has decided to open-slightly their new Droid device on the upcoming event in New York. The device is called Droid Turbo and it is expected to have the Turbo Charger under the bonnet.
The sporty version of the smartphone actually possess the brute power of the a quad core 2.7GHz processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM suspension inside allowing it to release all of its horses and embrace the highway at a full speed.
Droid Turbo holds the same display as the Droid X has. It is 5.2-inch screen with ultra high definition resolution 1440p, which has already proved its worthiness. The phone is also packed with a rear side 21MP camera, 32GB of luggage rack and a fuel tank of 3900mAh capacity being enough to refrain from pit stops during the day.
New sporty handset Droid Turbo is interesting at least to make a test drive of it. Still neither Verizon nor Motorola speak nothing about the pricing. Though we do not expect the $99.99 rate more for the 2 year contract. The detailed information could be obtained after 28th of October, when the first official set-off from the box is carried out.

Google Nexus 6 reveals his real name and the face
The smartphone which was already known to us under the code name Shamu the Google Nexus 6, now has become more open and reveals its real name Nexus X.
As we already know that iPhone 6 biggest brother will have 5.5 inches of the screen, we can surely state that phablet Nexus 6 or X, as been already told will be the mother of all phablets having 5.92 inches in diagonal, oversizing everyone on its path. But what is certainly known is that the AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution 2560x1440 pixels (493 pixels per inch), as an operating system preinstalled Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Also following specifications were mentioned in the upcoming Google’s model: a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with frequency 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 420 GPU, 32GB of storage and a 3,200mAh battery with QI wireless charging. And as to the camera it is stated that the Motorola itself will create a camera module on the Google phone featuring 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera for good quality selfies and video chatting.
Anyway the Nexus 6 launch is still based on web rumors, therefore we cannot tell you exactly when it will be released. Though it is expected to be completely revealed in mid-October and we will keep you informed if any more rumors seep out again.

Motorola appends a newbie the Moto X series
Various rumors have been circulating through the internet about it and now all the pieces have combined themselves altogether, and there is nothing left kept behind the curtain. So what exactly was added to the initial model to make the new Moto X.
Latest Motorola Android smartphone has undergone some changes. A new 5.2-inch screen has a Full High Definition resolution with 1920x1080 pixels on the outside. It comes with a Qualcomm quad core processor 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, formerly used 2GB of RAM and GPU Adreno 330 which was replaced by Adreno 320. The new Moto X also has refined design, unique style and authentic materials. The handset boasts updated rear camera with 13-megapixel sensor and possibility to recored in 4K video quality. On the front side a 2-megapixel front-facing camera is located. Motorola Moto X features an Android 4.4.4 KitKat as photo glances, a 16/32GB of storage options and 2300 mAh battery. The new Motorola Moto X smartphone comes in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America with WiFi: 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. In retail it will cost $499 worldwide.

Google Nexus 6 bobs up with codename Shamu
The new Nexus 6 may be produced by Motorola and the rumors say that the project is being developed under the codename Shamu, a name, which is also known as an orca star from the SeaWorld show at San Diego in the mid–late 1960s.
The word is spread that the display will be huge having 5.9-inch size with the resolution of 1080p, which can dimensionally compete with the biggest variant of Apple’s new upcoming iPhone 6 with 5.5-inch screen. The OS is encountered to be Android L, which will proudly complement the big size. So based on all mentioned it is expected to be a phablet with some new perks still not specified.
As it is not much known about the architecture of the Nexus 6 we can only hope that it will not bite the customer’s wallet as the killer whale did in 60’s with the fish and the Android Engineer Dave Burke will program it despite its wilderness issue.
And for us only waiting and patience can be prescribed in order to know the final results of the smartphone details, such as inner and outer design, the price and which actually means everything! The debut of Google Nexus 6 handsets will take place around October.

The second generation of Motorola Moto G slips out
We have heard that Motorola is working on a new version of the Moto X. Furthermore now it looks like the company has dropped out from their pocket a new version of the Moto G with the prefix 2.
There is only a bit of information about the specifications which were disclosed recently. Inside we can expect a similar to the Moto G 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and density of 326 ppi. Under the hood a significant performance boost is expected. Сurrent prototype of the new Motorola Moto G2 is equipped with a quad core processor ARMv7 VFPv4 NEON, 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 305 graphics accelerator chip.
A controversial issue is also camera's armament. The novelty will get a 2MP camera in front and a rear camera 8MP caliber on the backside. The big question is how many SIM cards will support Moto G2. We are inclined to assume that both options make sense. Like its predecessor the new Motorola handset took on board the same Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, port MicroUSB 2.0 and Android 4.4 KitKat as operating system.
As yet there are no details about capacity of the battery or price. The official launch date was appointed to September 4th, but we can presume for sure it is planned for fall, as it will make Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, for example.

Motorola has announced Moto 360 SmartWatch
Motorola has launched their new smartwatch Moto 360. The gadget is one of the first devices with Android Wear OS, such as Samsung Gear S making it more superior comparing to the Galaxy Gear 2 and iWatch.

Motorola Moto G LTE coming in June
Motorola has prepared the new LTE version of the Moto G. It comes with the similar specifications as existing model, although the some minor changes occurred.
Now, Motorola Moto G will be equipped not only LTE, but also 16GB of built-in storage. The other specifications, as expected, remain the same.

New colors of Motorola Droid
Verizon and Motorola believe that white and red Droid smartphone will be a good gift for the holidays. Certainly additional colors of Droid Mini and Droid Ultra are part of the festival program as however and prices.
