!!!! tw mentions of ed's, abuse, & suicide !!!!!!! The pjsk fandom is certainly odd and the game itself definitely doesn't have the cleanest track record, but one of my favorite things about pjsk is how much representation there is, and how well they accurately portrayed things such as bullying, ED's, suicide ideation, neglect, chronic illnesses, emotional abuse, etc. And they wrote each character's problems and backstories so well, it's why I hate it when people clown on the stories. Even when multiple characters deal with the same hardships, pjsk wrote each character so they coped with their problems in different ways; Rui and Mizuki both got bullied, and Rui learned to move on so he could be happy while Mizuki actively continues to keep everyone at an arms length. Ena, Akito, Emu and Tsukasa are all the products of neglect by their families and cope in different ways. (Exp; Tsukasa and Emu chose to bottle up their feelings and put on masks of happiness while Ena and Akito are both prone to outlashes of anger due to it.) Toya and Mafuyu were both forced to peruse paths that their parents chose for them and only with the help of their friends were they able to break free from those expectations placed on them by their families, the only difference being that Toya learned to peruse what he wanted to do early on in life while Mafuyu didn't. Haruka and Kanade both have eating disorders, while Haruka's is a result of the toxic standards in the idol industry while Kanade's is the result of her prioritizing her work over her well-being. I think the pjsk stories are so well written and accurately shed light on more sore subjects in a way other media wasn't able too

I wanted to draw Mizuki ever since I started watching the DMMD anime. It had about 5 episodes back then, and I was just thinking “Ah, yes, this guy is my favourite character”, when Aoba got a call from Koujaku, saying MIZUKI’S DISSAPPEARED. Yeah, thanks, darling.

(More babbling below the cut, I write way too much.)

I watched the whole DMMD anime just because I wanted to see Aoba saving Mizuki, but all I got was one picture of him smiling (which is honestly better than nothing). So I wanted to see his waking up scene in the game, but I only found one video – that had spanish subtitles. That was really lucky though, because I got so pissed, that I just watched the route of my fave boyfriend (Can you guess which one it is? It’s so painfully obvious …) and this finally got me into DMMD as a whole. In the meantime there are two of the boyfriends, that I like even more (but I still ship only one with Aoba, haha), but Mizuki’s still … way too precious for all this.

(By the way, in the end I watched the spanish video. I found a english transcribtion of Mizuki’s good end and read that while watching the video. … Honestly this was the most mental exhausting thing I’ve ever done. Trying to pay attention to three foreign languages when I only spoke one of them … Whew.)

You know, I was going to say, that I procrastinated uploading this pic for almost a month (since March 7th, Mizuki’s birthday), but I procrastinated drawing it for almost two years in the first place so I guess those few days don’t make much difference anymore.

Honestly, I'm impressed at how much research people who believe that Mizuki is trans did. And these proofs are really strong, like... you can't just easily refute them. While people who believe that Mizuki is crossdresser, only rely on mizu5... As if that didn't prove that Mizuki is transfem... Like... If she was a boy, she wouldn't run away like that and wouldn't have a panic attack. People really should stop debating over her gender, and finally accept that she's trans.

Yo. I'm Mizuki fan that considers them non-binary or a crosdressing boy but I also understand and accept tfem Mizuki. I think all opportunities are possible and the staff did it on purpose so all people, no matter what their identity are, can relate to them. Asian fans also think that way. I've seen japanese fans who treat Mizuki as a boy, as X-gender, as a tfem. I've also seen people who see them as a cis girl but that one's kinda meh... But the thing is, they don't quarell, they just love Mizuki. They actually don't care much about Mizuki's gender as much as western fans do. I'm fine with how things are in game but the fandom has indeed become insufferable so I understand your feelings. And I'm genuinely sorry even though I don't interact with the fandom at all. Really. All these "Mizuki is a crossdresser!!!" and "Mizuki is a trans representation!!!" are becoming annoying, it's like people don't actually care about Mizuki as a character. As a person. I think we should care less about their gender... Mizuki is Mizuki, and their friend has accepted them the way they are, and that's the only thing that matters to me.

I don't know if my opinion is valid, though, I'd like to say it.

I absolutely hate Mizuki and her fans. I understand that y'all love her, but please, can we go without these gender debates? Y'all look stupid while trying to prove who Mizuki is transfem or crossdresser. Like, I just want to watch a video of my (previously) favorite character and then see another gender debate. Like why the fuck are you so bothered what's in her pants? As if that could change the universe....

Mizuki is actually flexible in this case. Whatever theory you believe, just try to... Think of another? If you think that she's a crossdresser, then... Try to view her from the side of a transfem and vice versa. And you'll see how flexible she is. So... Maybe we should try to pressure sega to reveal her gender?? I myself believe that she's transfem or non-binary, but still... It all looks like a bait of two audiences.

And cuz of these gender debates, she started to annoy me. Especially after Ena5. She's just... Ugh... Running and running away, not waiting to talk and then screams like a pig. Kinda feels sorry both to Mizuki and Ena fans. Sega once again made a mistake.

Anyways. I know that there will be a bunch of Mizuki fans, who may or may not be aggressive. So, if you want to argue, prove me another point, then feel free to DM me. Just let's get it easy and without aggression to both of us, okay? Mizuki is just pixels after all. Anyways, it's just my opinion and a little rant.... What can I say in the end is...
