Lugia - Blog Posts
Since I definitely won't be able to finish this before Mother's Day is over, here's a sketch of an idea I had with my Shadow Mewtwo and Shadow Lugia "AU."
Inspired by that time in the anime there was a baby Lugia. Shadow Lugia looking back on vague memories that are hard to grasp, as their companion of Shadow Mewtwo rests beside them.
Hoping to start posting more for this idea I had, but uh, enjoy!

It is so cool to see you pull from so many different cultures and incorporate so much into each design. And it makes them all so unique and yet you can still easily recognize which pokemon it is? So. Awesome ;w;
I wish there was more love and recognition for the Pokemon GameCube games, I originally wanted this out for Colosseum's 17th birthday (in the US) in March, or even two weeks ago for Europe's 17th birthday.

Trans Lugia (WIP)
The story of Lugia is very much tied into the story of their writer, Takeshi Shudô. He was saddened to see the direction they took with Lugia in the film, feeling Lugia was presented in a way too masculine for what he envisioned.
I find myself emotionally invested in Lugias fate, I want to recognize the her inherent...I want to understand the langauge, the words he spoke, as I understand poetry. I find myself wondering, relying on others for her form, her words...am I so helpless to be named man as well after so many years unattested, even if miserable? Did I not bring happiness? Is my childhood not forever a scar? It is too late for Takeshi to change things...at least how I see it. People have moved on. Discussion threads on Bulbapedia are already 12 years old, the links to the translations broken. All I have left is the original japanese blog posts from Takeshi Shudô.

Decided to go for a what if idea for the art contest, if my Undertale/Pokemon AU (PokeTale: Ascendance) or PTA for short, was ever in UNDERVERSE
(PTA is an AU where instead of Chara falling into the Underground and getting raised/adopted by the dreemurrs etc. Chara ends up getting adopted by Arceus, after she found and took care of the Creation Trio back when they were babies, after Palkia had accidentally created a portal into the UNDERTALE world because he didn't know how to control his powers yet because babey and Arceus, thankful for Chara for raising and protecting his children in his absence/trying to find his missing children for like a week straight, eventually warms up to Chara and when he noticed how crappy her human life was back in her village, he decides to take Chara with him back to the Pokemon world as thanks for her taking care of the babies.)
OCs: PTA! versions of Chara, Champion Cynthia (and her Garchomp), Red, Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov (A version of Raikov from Metal Gear who's attending Naranja Academy after ending up in Paldea due to multiverse shenanigans) along with his skeledirge (Raiden, also from Metal Gear who was transported into Paldea along with Raikov, but then got turned into a pokemon by Terapagos in order to save his life when he got into some trouble in Area Zero), Dadogre Kyogre, Shadow the Lugia (Silver), Terapagos, Necrozma, Arceus
Basically a what if if PTA was in Underverse what could happen, and I decided XGaster possesses Arceus and Necrozma with his OP button (Because Pokemon Gods, plus Arceus is like the creator of everything, and it kinda just seems like something XGaster'd do because he's a prick/for his "Perfect AU" or whatever) And Necrozma, because he's canonically stronger than Arceus (with the whole light absorption thing he kinda does) and all that.
(And I guess XGaster being XGaster decided having both "Gods" essentially would lead to the perfect AU/could help him or something? idk-) And basically PTA! Chara with the help of Cross and X!Chara go to confront XGaster and essentially the rest of the XTale cast + Necrozma and Arceus to try and save PTA!Chara's father and Necrozma beforeXGaster just destroys the whole Multiverse by accident or something, to the point that not even the RESET or OVERWRITE buttons would be able to bring it back-
And yeah- Sorry for the long explanation, there's just a lot to explain ^^; hope you all like!

Just felt like drawing these two for literally no reason
wanted to draw Origin Dialga again (cuz I really like the design, along with palkia's too) but with my redesign for Primal Dialga on top of it
then I threw Lugia too (i guess its also semi a gift for PilarFlorimonte/@piliiiiiconfusionf cuz she was being a stinky in my server and she likes Lugia and- ye XD)

Wanted to draw Kyogre and Lugia together cuz I recently got obsessed with these two for no reason/ PilarFlorimonte made me obsessed
and I did some research on them and how Kyogre is like kind of the "King" of the Ocean, and Lugia is the Protector or Guardian of the Seas
so I wanted to do a thing with Lugia protecting his King, then my brain spiralled to thinking about Lugia's Shadow form from Pokemon Collosseum and randomly wanting to combine that form and Kyogre's Primal form.
then @piliiiiiconfusionf gave me this idea which ima just copy + Paste here cuz i'm lazy:
"So you said your design was similar to Kyogre's and Shadow Lugia's right? well- what about this Lugia being a failed experiment by humans who tried to make Shadow Lugia? but something happened that it failed, I was imagining the lab being destroyed- im blaming my sudden and random Mewtwo obsession from today and the Baby lugia who was already a bit infected fell in the Ocean- Maybe because the lab was there?? Kyogre finds it and decides to give Lugia some of their power so he doesn't die or gets completely corrupted- and that gaining that second form- and adopting this tiny Lugia- and seeing all the power he has, Kyogre helped him to control that power and made him a guardian-"
Sooooooooo now this is canon to PTA, and Kyogre is now Silver (now renamed to "Shadow") cuz of the experiments, Silver the baby Lugia ends up keeping the colors from the Shadow form permanently and Kyogre didn't know his actual name-
Aaaand Silver is fighting to protect his new "Dada" against a mysterious pokemon (his actual parents that kinda think Kyogre kidnapped their kid)
also because of the strain of the new Transformation (which im coining "Ancestral Darkness" thanks to my bew @theonephun211 for helping with the name) Kyogre is worried Shadows body will wear out mid fight while Shadow fights his parent that he basically lost his memories of due to being experimented on

An AU based off of an RP between me and a friend of mine from my discord server discord.gg/pQf9ZsdF6E where the Creation Trio as babies (a time they all cant really fully control their powers and junk) accidentally create a portal into the Undertale Universe and meet Chara and basically Arceus finds Chara and adopts her after finding out about her shitty human parents and Chara ends up helping Arceus raise the babies and basically lives in the Pokemon Universe now

Just Dadogre (Kyogre) and Shadow having a fun little race around Hoenn/near the Orange Islands.
Also a bit of a practice sorta to get Shadow used to flying as well, after having lived most of his life underwater with Kyogre and stuff-
Also Shadow's friends watching Shadow and cheering the bew on, and Arcy watching after his daughter and smoltina like the doting papa that he is<3
