For those curious about the XenoFell concept, it started from this

Since it's still gonna be a bit til I get the next page for SUR out, how about some random facts on Andesine that no one asked for. But I was kinda nerding out about her in my discord server so thought I'd share some of my ideas for the fusion between Jasper and Spinel and why I chose to name them after this stone in particular, as well as some real world facts about the stone itself

Andesine is a plagioclase feldspar with a composition between that of oligoclase and labradorite.. Its bold colors and warm energy are believed to make andesine a stress-relieving, grounding stone that melts your worries away.

*Kinda fits 2 certain gems we all know and love in the SU fandom eh? Since I'm pretty sure it's sorta implied Jasper and Spinel hate themselves, or at least blame themselves for not realizing Pinks' plan when she abandoned them in the garden (Spinel) or when she was planning to fake her own shattering (Jasper)

Also being left behind, even though both are the most perfect of gems, that a Gem could be. And even then they weren't good enough for Pink to wanna keep them around etc.

*I've always wanted to write a fusion that's meant to sorta be an in-between of Malachite (the physical manifestation of what a toxic relationship would look like as a character)

And Garnet (The Physical manifestation of what a healthy, loving relationship looks like)

And, yeah. That's basically what Andesine is supposed to be like. Because I feel like both Jasper and Spinel have the ability to heal from their trauma, and maybe even help each other find more healthier ways to deal with the pain, and confide in one another etc. (But also I feel like, especially in Jaspers case, both are way too stubborn to actually do it. At least for a very long time tbh) but- yeah.

I think both can help each other erase their fears, and maybe even self-worth given how very alike they are, but also different at the same time- just like the character, they need time to sorta realize this.

Just wanna mention, for those who follow me, or used to maybe follow me for my Steven Universe AU once upon a time, I made a new blog for it so I decided, to make things more neater, Ima post all the pages and stuff for it here @stevenuniversereflections Also wanna mention that I'm going to try really hard to work on it again, here and there so Look out for it! What is Steven Universe Reflections you may ask?

Synopsis:

The story takes place sometime after SU the movie and either before SU Future or during. (Also half running as also a theory what SU Future might be about but mainly this is just for fun) Jasper, Eyeball and Aquamarine are running their own rebel group along with a couple other gems who hate Era 3 and basically want things to the way they used to, and are having problems accustoming to the new peacetime era. After somehow getting news about Spinel and what she did on Earth, the trio come up with a plan to somehow get Spinel onto their side, and help them beat the Crystal Gems and Steven once and for all. Jasper however, is not entirely convinced Spinel has the power needed and corners her one day when she leaves the Diamond Palace to check out homeworld and see how much the planet had changed since she last saw it 6,000 years ago.... ((it was also very loosely based on a post that @celestialalpacaron made ages ago and the blorbo underneath the art is what inspired this comic from what I do remember when I started this thing back in 2019, and then it has since kinda grown into it's own thing, but still semi takes inspiration from her thing sorta-))

Character ref sheet for one of the main characters in an AU/story i created (nonfandom related)

The premise of the story is that there was a virus going around that's been killing the normal humans, and when a random scientist had like rabies or something he discovered he was unaffected by this random virus that was affecting/killing off the regular humans, some years went by and they developed a vaccine and discovered, if they wanted humans to avoid going extinct they needed to inject the surviving ones with this vial that gave them all animalistic traits and their abilities as well.

(Example: Someone who's part Cheetah would be able to run as fast as them, or part monkey are better climbers, bird people can fly etc.)

How is Steven Universe reflection coming along?

I've been stuck TTATT sucks that the me that started this comic 2020 never really wrote notes how the story would go, and me of 2024/2025 doesn't remember much from it either lol I am definitely still planning on continuing though! And sorry for not noticing your question earlier! (I rarely use tumblr besides to post random crap and apparently im blind af LOL) but ye- still struggling with finding good refs for what the inside of Aquamarine's ship looks like (the show doesnt have a lot of good refs from the angles i want) soo I've been struggling</3 But ye, definitely I am planning to still continue it, it just might be a while longer til i get chapter 5 done, thanks for being patient with me tho<3

* Constantly abused because they're lazy (really, they're just tired)

* Often goes days to a week without sleep cuz their owner is an asshole

* The only times they sleep (or try to) is at Bee's party, or Cade ( @tekedafox23 's hellhound oc) library when the noises from the party wakes them up or disturbs them too much

* Likes Bee cuz she's one of the only ones nice to them, and frequents Bee's party if their owner allows them to.

* Scared to death of Satan

* Likes Ozmodius too but also kinda sees him as a hypocrite, since he gives others shit (like Stolas) for dating an imp, meanwhile he's also dating one too, but overall they're "okay" with Ozzie, but doesn't respect him nearly as much as they do Bee

* Can and WILL take a nap whenever possible/allowed. Even on the fucking floor cuz hella sleep deprived

* Carries around a smol pillow everywhere so they can take naps

* Has the name of their owner basically branded across their back/by their shoulder blades- (Tried to draw them in Viv's artstyle and I think I did a somewhat decent job)

What is Twinfell? Twinfell is an AU based around Underfell (creator @underfell) where the monsters in the underground are very edgy, hateful, and fueled with fear. At first, the monsters were just like the ones in Undertale, but after they were trapped underground, they turned to hate and fear. Asgore was the first person in this AU to fall, and everyone went down the same path as him eventually.

The story of Underfell starts after the monsters have fully integrated into this mindset, but unlike normal Underfell, Twinfell also combines the events of Flowerfell as part of the AU. Flowerfell was created by @Siviosanei, where every time Frisk dies, the timeline resets. And when they return to life, a buttercup grows on their body. The flowers could not be removed as it hurts Frisk. Despite the cruel nature of the characters in Underfell, Frisk remains pacifist.

Twinfell takes place 7 years after Flowerfell happens. (In my AU version of Flowerfell, instead of the ending where Sans uses Frisks' SOUL along with the other 6 human SOULs to break the barrier and free all of the Monsters), he instead chooses to absorb Frisks' SOUL and lets the other 6 fade into nothingness due to his depression and grief over losing Frisk, as well as his fears that even after everything Frisk did trying to teach the Underfell Monsters the meaning of kindness and pacifism, that they might not have learned anything at all. Basically instead choosing to trap the UF monsters behind the Barrier with no way to escape.

Undyne, and Papyrus however, learning about Sans GODsoul and remembering how kind Frisk was, and seeing perhaps Asgore was wrong about all humans being heartless bastards, the 3 of them decide to make a rebellion group called the "Freedom Fighters" where they vow to take down Asgore, the Royal Guards as well as Asgore's "Kill or Be Killed" mindset once and for all and make the underground a much more inhabitable place.

How did the AU initially come about ? 

I was fascinated with the story and lore (as well as the overall aesthetic of Underfell) and obsessing over Flowerfell at the time, and I never noticed those two were completely different AUs until I basically did a deep dive into them both. And basically I wondered "what if I combined the two AUs together???" Another reason for it, was because I frankly got tired of the fandom for the most part sort of 'meme-ing' on the Underfell AU and other adjacent "Fell" AUs, I wanted to take the concept of Underfell and make it even more darker and twisted. And also dive even deeper into the whole concept of the Monsters losing their morality and humanity (which was the number one reason why I personally love the Underfell universe the most of all Undertale AUs I've read about and gotten interested in.) And wanted to do my own take on the verse, hence "Twinfell."

What is fighting like in the game ?

If there ever WAS a game made properly for Twinfell, I was sort of thinking the fighting system would be "real-time" instead of taking turns. (Or maybe its still turn based just like canon UNDERTALE, if you are fighting against any of the members of the Freedom Fighters group) vs the monsters on Asgore's side and The Royal Guard, who fight you based on real time.

In the RUINs, it's also turn-based, since technically the monsters are unaffiliated with either side, (some may fight you based on real-time depending how desperate they get in the fight. like during low HP moments etc.)

So I’m thinking just like in the canon Underfell Universe, that there isn’t a “pacifist” or a “ genocide” route.

More of like a Trust, Betrayal, Closure routes.

Trust: Otaku manages to befriend all the monsters and make them trust one another again.

Betrayal: Flowey or Akumu pins the monsters against each other resulting in Frisk getting blamed for it.

Closure: Otaku befriends all the monsters and manages to make them realize the wrongs they’ve committed. Finally finding closure within each other.”

What is the FIGHT/ACT/ITEM/MERCY interface like ? “FIGHT-ACT-ITEMS-MERCY" it’d still be the same as canon Undertale.

FIGHT- Butt heads against the monsters, but when things start getting seriously bad for the monster With them being at the last strand of HP they have, Flowey would step in and say “Maybe now they’ll listen to you” The fight option would be gone and then Mercy-> Spare HOWEVER if you ONLY fight them, it doesn’t mean they trust you, it just means they fear you. Choosing to only fight would still decide the routes.

ACT- same concept, trying to convince them not to kill you by making them trust you. Act takes longer per usual, but instead of Spare it’d be Mercy-> Convince Because by this time they have a little trust in you, and would come around wanting to help you. And themselves.

ITEMS- same thing, except you have a surprise box cutter in flowey's pot that isn’t known about until the end of the route.

MERCY - Self-Explanatory. May change to "Convince" or "Spare" depending on actions.

ALL ABOUT THE CHARACTERS:

AKUMU RENGAI

Both were abandoned on the side of the road near an abandoned shopping mall by their parents at the age 7 and for 5 years they basically lived on their own and did what they could to survive up until CPS (Child Protective Services) of Ebott City finally found and rescued them and brought to an orphanage where the twins lived in for 2 more years and would move from foster family to foster family without much success.

(Mostly due to the Fosters wishing to seperate the twins since Akumu was very rebellious, and was suffering from abandonment issues and trauma, while Otaku was very easy going and well behaved. They thought Aku was a problem child.)

To avoid getting seperated again, Akumu took and lied to her brother to go sight seeing by climbing Mt. Ebott for a "Family Photo" of the two of them standing on the mountain overseeing Ebott City, when they both tripped and accidentally fell into a massive hole near the summit and landed on Golden Flowers….

Fun facts:

The Eldest Twin (by like, 10 minutes)

Has the SOUL of Discipline. (A combination of DETERMINATION and BRAVERY)

Effects: The SOUL becomes rock-hard. Able to bounce off attacks without taking too much damage. (About half the damage.) Though if done, the attacks will eventually fall back down at a faster pace and change color to injure the host at double the attack power it would have normally been.

14 years old.

Very rebellious, and acts much older than her actual age.

Is also extremely protective of her brother, and will even kill both monsters AND other humans if it meant keeping him safe.

Practically trusts no one, except for Otaku considering he is the only family she has left that still gives a shit about her and puts up with her "bad attitude" and issues.

Able to see and use the SAVE stars, cannot RESET.

OTAKU RENGAI

Is also very smart and interested in robotics and engineering from a young age.

Tries to stay positive, whereas his sister is a pessimist about most things.

Has the SOUL of DILIGENCE. (A mix of DETERMINATION, INTEGRITY and PATIENCE)

Effects: Otaku's SOUL creates a shield around itself that can withstand 2 bullet hits before it breaks, in which then the user will take twice the amount of damage when hit. The user with this SOUL must thus be more studious in memorizing the attack patterns and be more careful dodging.

Able to RESET, but cannot SAVE.

FLOWEY

Regained some of his emotions during his journey with Frisk

The boot he resides in belongs to Otaku

Uses his 'friendliness pellets' to heal the twins. Each pellet is worth 1HP everytime the twins touches one, they regain 1HP

TORIEL

Makes meat pies out of the fallen humans that had fallen into the RUINS, and stores their corpses in her freezer.

After Chara and Asriel died, Toriel become emotionally detached from everyone, especially her ex-husband

SANS

Let's Frisk take over 90% of the time

he doesn’t get flustered and isn’t always angry, he’s just very tired

let him rest

he sweats easily under that big ass jacket 

he’s been holding in a lot of emotional shit, so he’s constantly radiating his powers which mostly affects his jacket fur

is technically the most powerful with the consequence of hurting himself the most (Due to KR attacking him too since he ALSO has LV, and EXP)

Loves mustard and basically puts it on everything even when everyone else thinks it's disgusting or on food that probably shouldn't have mustard on it.
