Did a piece a year ago based on Reaching Out from the movie and wasn’t super happy with how it turned out. Quickly after I got an idea how a mirror could work instead but didn’t want to make it too soon.
Were originally planning to just redraw an old basic post, the two of them jumping over a rooftop but felt… nah. I’m not satisfied with my Miraculous-work. I need to do something big, something detailed, something filled with love and wow and oof. And I had done like posters and phone-backgrounds before but never given Miraculous a real character-filled wallpaper before like Spider-Man, Star Wars or Justice League so here! Probably my most claustrophobic wallpaper yet but actually losing to both Spider-Man 2 and Life is Strange with just 15 characters compared to their 16! But this is filled with full body-drawings, fully drawn, zero traced faces or anything and took like a week to make thanks to also working now, so the longest project to date! You’re welcome!
I wanted something to represent the whole Agreste-Saga and had a ton of different ideas and sketches to pick from. There was the book, the rings, the wall between them, all the supportive casts including drama, rivals, a mysterious cousin, 5 whole seasons of stories but I think I managed to mush it all down to one final product!
Two years today (I think) I have been drawing these two on a regular basis! Time sure flies by
Original plan was to do something cosier but here’s something for everyone who might have a harder time around Christmas

I know, I know, the text is messy and on-the-nose but I wasn’t sure how to sell the actual message without having to redraw them both.
Though I based this on an episode but when I couldn’t find it, I realised the idea probably had roots in fan-fiction… It's been a while since I listened to some good fan-fiction…
Oops, forgot to upload yesterday.
So me and my sister saw Ladybug and Cat Noir: the MOVIE a few weeks ago, and because I have planned uploads up to next Valentine’s Day, this was the first best opening I could squeeze in an Awakening-thing.
So… I’m not a big musical-fan. Well, I like High School Musical but that’s it. Well, musicals feel like they pause the plot for the characters to sing out the plot but I did kind of like this one and Reaching Out was absolutely my favorite song. Lord, I can’t explain how hard “Is it enough to just be me” hit me.
But short movie-review, see how much I remember… I liked it. It wasn’t perfect, the fact it was a musical didn’t land for me. Marinette’s voice, everyone has already complained about it so I will move on.. I liked the characters a little more here. I liked a Marinette without the creepy obsession, I liked a broody lonely Adrien. Gabriel… I feel like he could have needed another design in the end cause I wasn’t really sure what exactly akumatizing himself meant… he just made the water into lava and I was supposed to accept I guess.. would have loved the S5-design but I know I’m alone in liking that design so… where was Nathalie? She was just there, I don’t remember if she knew or if she just was an assistant this time?
Idk, I should have written this while my memories were fresh, 7/10. Might rewatch. Wasn’t sure about the love-story, at least here it moved faster but didn’t feel it had much ground. At least in the show, it’s this apologetic sweet moment in the rain between Marinette and Adrien and it’s Cat seeing how cool and badass Ladybug is but here it’s just the two of them helping the other from the ground. But… they’re also both like 14 so maybe they don't need more.

Wall Between Us . Forgot how I planned to start this thread but one of my… many New Year’s Resolutions will be to stop drawing just “because”. I won’t draw anything that I won’t be fully committed and interested in. So that was another project that won’t ever get finished but trying honestly, it also died after what.. episode 2, 3, 1? I will draw what I myself actually feel I can be proud of and focus and stuff that I might be better at and if it doesn’t live up to my expectations, then it will just get dumped into the garbage can or collect dust on my drive. It’s not like “activity” or some “algorithm” that just seems to help those who already have made it (just like some old teachers of mine :D) have helped me anyway so I don’t lose on just.. drawing what I want to draw and because I find it fun and relaxing. And if people on the internet like it.. cool. If they don’t.. Well, at least I finally do. But going back to “not draw just “because "", no clue what to do after this. The Miraculous Season-project sucked and both my Justice League and Avengers are almost done so I will have to come up with something new to do and that’s not always easy. Some Miraculous-Ideas and hopefully will do more Star Wars… book accurate Fellowship of the Rings? I have a Batman-Poster idea but that can wait till October. Spider-Man Day is in August… will have to be better on keeping track of birthdays cause the only tribute I remember was Jack Kirby but there are other legends that could be fun to give attention to. Miraculous S5E4 - Jubilation . Well, between I saw this episode and made this drawing, like 2 more came out. I'm so behind hehe. Liked the episode, feels like things are finally starting to happen. Really liked how they could use the power of Gift as a weapon and really reminded me of the Superman-story "For the Man who has everything" so I designed this based on that cover. A scary gift for Pelo’s Birthmass xD

A couple colorful ladybugs soaking up the afternoon sun! I typically don't find adults in such close proximity unless they're mating, so seeing these two just sitting quietly together was very cute. Neither are red, either, which was a very welcome sight amongst the sea of red ladybugs I find every day. They both look like quite young adults, so it's possible they were still drying off from emerging from their pupae. They likely moved on fairly quickly, though, since the boardwalk is currently teeming with larvae, meaning it's hard to sit undisturbed for long!
I may spent entire day drawing grocery store as sexy dauther of mafia boss that was supposed to be quick concept art before making a purpously cringe ship with another shop but at least it finally broke my months lasting art block 🙃.
Inspirations:
The backstory: Once upon the time two of the most powerfull and common shops nations in Poland lived in relative harmony, until in the evening of fifth febuary this year the marketing team military council decided to make a mass attack. Spam sms army recruitment letters were send to all of lord Biedronka followers, informing of Lidls people inferiority and their cost of freedom (products) being much higher. The battle begun, Lidls soon made controfensive and set a battle line right beetwen both teritories. Sides are fighting with equal fury and determination and for now there isn't much advantege on any. Only time will tell what future awaits us.

Like Chat and Ladybug are patrolling around an area and Ladybug chimes in with "Oh did you know? Adrien Agreste is doing a photoshoot here next weekend - right across the street. He told me."
And Chat is like Yep sure am but mostly he's confused because. Wait. He definitely didn't tell Ladybug that. Right?
"Wait when did Adrien tell you that?"
"Oh, last Thursday I think. Adrien was walking home from school."
And wait this is even weirder now because
"Adrien was walking home with Marinette on Thursday. He told Marinette that. How do you know that?"
Ladybug stops like Wait, shit, because yeah Adrien told her that as Marinette but she's talking to Chat right now so it shouldn't matter if she keeps straight which of her selves Adrien was talking to but it turns out Chat DOES know somehow that it was Marinette and not Ladybug that Adrien was talking to last Thursday while walking home and Chat is staring at her and Ladybug is buffering trying to figure out what to say
"I was. um. hiding behind the plant when Adrien told Marinette."
"A plant?"
"Yeah there was a plant."
And Ladybug pauses for a beat.
"How do you know Adrien told Marinette that?"
A beat. Chat is buffering.
"I was hiding behind the other plant."

Tears were already welling in Adrien’s eyes because Plagg was the last piece of his family he had. His dad turned out to be Hawkmoth, his mum is dead, ladybug and he still didn’t reveal identities, Nathalie was Mayura and the police thought Gorilla was tangled up in this mess as well.
And now Plagg has to leave him too.
“I don’t want you to go, you’re my best friend and the last family I have. I don’t know how I’ll be strong enough to continue without you at my side.”
Plagg flew to Adrien’s shoulder and hugged him as big as he managed. “I don’t want to leave you either, I-“
“Hey.” Tikki, Ladybug’s kwamis arrived to retrieve the miraculous.
“I’m sorry. Ladybug just-“
Adrien stopped her. “Thank you, Tikki. But I really don’t want to hear about Ladybug.”
“Adrien, we don’t have to do this. You could transform and we would run away and open this shop we talked about and-“
“I’m sorry, Plagg. I wish things could be different but,” Plagg knew that this was going to hurt even more than it did the last time “Plagg, I renounce you.”
With those words Plagg was sucked into the ring. Adrien took the ring of his finger and put it back into the box he had carefully stored away into the top drawer of the small shelf, next to the Camembert.
“Here.”
He handed the box to Tikki and turned away to cry and scream and break down until all his tears were shred, all his screams turned silent and everything inside him was broken to a level not even Cat Noir’s cataclysm could reach.
Cat Noir: Do you know why Koalas aren’t classified as bears?
Ladybug: Because they are marsupials.
Cat Noir: ...
Ladybug: ...
Cat Noir: *starts to leave*
Cat Noir: *scoffs* Because they are marsupials! NO, IT’S BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE THE KOALAFICATION!
