okay so you know in Thor: The Dark World when Thor, Loki and Jane are escaping Asgard and Jane falls down bc the aether is making her weak but when Thor calls to her to see if she’s okay she’s says she’s fine but she’s actually on the verge of death and doesn’t want him to worry about another thing? Natasha and Phil have the same energy in these two situations. In the first instance agent Phil Coulson steals or 'borrows' Dr.Jane Foster's information for security purposes while in the other instance agent Natasha Romanoff tricks Loki and kinda steals information from Loki for the same purpose and they both thank them for their cooperation even though they didn't cooperate at all. Natasha did use words for her tricks and Phil did use other agents for his work but they both sort of did the same thing for the same reasons and acted the same way. So both of them kinda have the same energy.
