So, in Infinity War, the Infinity Gauntlet has the power to change reality right? So what if that means the people that were snapped were never really snapped, they just weren’t able to be seen or interacted with. They could move around and talk, but the people who weren’t dusted would have no idea they were there.
That would mean that the people who were dusted saw their family “ignore” them for five whole years.
Peter thought he saw Tony get tired of him, and work without him.
Bucky thought he saw Steve forget he was there and thought it was karma for him forgetting Steve.
Clint’s family thought they saw their dad and husband leave them all alone.
Groot thought he saw Rocket loose interest in him.
the differences in tony and peter’s suits will always drive me insane.
Iron man is built to be big, bulky, loud and flashy. it’s got gadgets and gizmos and flies on its own. It’s a suit, but it really functions on its own as well. Even Rhodey in IM1 couldn’t guess there’s a person in it. It’s supposed to look like a robot. You’re not supposed to see the human. It’s a suit made to hide in.
the spider man suit is incredibly thin and hides nothing at all. You can see the person, the head is shaped like a head, there are fingers and it looks human. it is nothing without its pilot. you can hear his voice, unfiltered if he chooses. It’s made to make sure that the person inside is seen as a person. It’s not a disguise.
Peter used his vigilantism to express his humanity. Tony wears his suit when his humanity is too much for him to bear and he needs to hide from it.
Writer's block is killer
I've been working on the same chapter of my spidey fic for literal weeks, I'm dying. I'm hoping by tonight that I get the chapter done because it should actually not be taking me this long (and I have work tomorrow so if I don't get it done now it just won't get done...)
Headcannon that Steve and Tony were married once upon a time and that Bucky was the babysitter for peter parker when they were busy. However Steve slowly started falling for Bucky and then they had this while babysitter romance and Steve and Tony got divorced (aka civil war). Then Tony met Dr strange and started to fall in love and now Peter has 4 dad's.
